I smiled, looking down at Dari. "Need a hand?" I asked, chuckling and offering my hand to help her up.
I rolled my eyes and stuffed my hands in my pockets. 'Flirt..' I thought as I continued forward.

"Yep." I said. I held his hand, but pulled away. I looked at Alcander.

I smiled. "Let's go, I'm curious to see this Camp Half-Blood," I said. I followed Alcander, my swords hanging from my back.
I looked over at Kardel, rolling my eyes. I noticed Dari looking in my direction. "What?" I asked, narrowing my black eyes curiously.

I smiled at him, glared at Kardel, and held Alcander's hand.

I quickly pulled my hand away. "What the heck are you doing?" I demanded, although I couldn't help but blush a bit.
I looked over at Alcander, watching Dari grasp his hand. I narrowed my eyes a moment but simply shrugged. 'She'll come around..they always do,' I thought with a cocky grin.

I smiled. "I like tough boys. Not soft ones." I said, looking away.

I narrowed my eyes. "You attack me, yell at me, talk to me like I'm an idiot, then hold my hand?" I noted, my tone questioning. I stared at her a moment, shaking my head. "Girls are weird.." I muttered, pulling my hand away and walking forward.
I heard Dar's 'soft' comment and I simply laughed to myself. 'Ah, one of those girls..' I thought. I simply shrugged and walked forward as though the reject was nothing more than a small loss.

I closed my eyes and stood there. I stared at him. "Ok." I said sadly.

I stopped, turning around as I heard Dari's sad tone. My eyes flickered, showing the guilt I now felt. 'She..was serious..' I thought. I sighed, walking over to her. "Look..it's just. I don't really now you. In a month we could end up hating each other," I noted. "I didn't mean to be rude.." I added after a moment. It was obvious being kind wasn't exactly something I was used to.
My gaze shifted from Dari to Alcander. "Well, on that note, I'm going to head off on my own. Third wheels aren't cool," I noted with a grin. Without waiting for a response I continued forward, deciding to find my way through camp alone.

I smiled solemnly, and wiped something from my eye. A tear. "Fine, have it your way." I said, dryly. I wiped another tear from my eye. I hate Ares kids, I thought to myself.

My eyes widened a bit. "You're...crying?" I asked, as though I couldn't believe it. 'Crap..' I thought. I stood there a moment, contemplating. I rubbed the back of my neck, biting my lip. "Um...why don't we hang out so I can get to know you. And then I'll know whether or not you'll get annoyed with me and try to strangle me again," I suggested with a grin.

I felt my eye and looked at my finger. I have to stop crying, I thought. It shows weakness. "Ok." I said.

I offered a smile. "Now let's explore this camp before I say something else stupid and upset you again," I suggested. I hesitated a moment before grasping her hand with a sigh. "If you turn on me and decide to do some demigod move and flip me then I'll hesitate before holding your hand again," I added, trying to lighten the mood. It was obvious I use humor to get through awkward situations.

I tilted my head. "An Oracle? Like...someone who tells the future?" I asked curiously. It seemed like every minute I was learning things I thought were just myths were actually real.
