The newest Half-Blood, the Son of Ares.

Subject: The newest Half-Blood, the Son of Ares. Sat Jul 10, 2010 7:30 pm

I ran quickly up Half-Blood hill, a chimera on my tail. I had read about chimeras and was able to identify what this monster was. However, I didn't exactly realize they were real. I continued running, pinching my arm to see if this was some kind of dream. To my chagrin, it wasn't. I continued running, trying to reach the top of the hill before I got myself killed. The chimera lunged at me and I jumped into the air, landing on its back with a thud. The chimera roared with anger, trying to shake me off of its back. I felt a soft thump on the back of my head. I looked down, seeing an elastic black bracelet. 'That's great...someone hits me in the head with a rubberband while I'm fighting for my life,' I thought. I picked up the bracelet, my black eyes widening as I watched it transform into a celestial bronze sword. I jabbed the chimera in the back with a sword. It slowly turned to dust and I went toppling to the ground. I looked down at the sword, seeing something engraved on the side. Arsen. 'Arsen?' i thought. I could feel the power radiating from the weapon, the feeling made me shiver. I slipped my wrist through the handle and the sword switched back to an elastic, black bracelet and took its place on my wrist. I looked around curiously. The, now destroyed, chimera had chased me to this location. I say a sigh, tilting my head curiously. "Camp Half-Blood?" I asked myself out loud. My black hair hung in my face and I slighty brushed it to the side, trudging up the hill to investigate.

I walk up. "New kid." I murmured.

I continued up the hill, looking around for someone. "Anyone here?" I asked as I glanced around, my black eyes scanning the area.

I looked over at the voice I heard. "Where am I?" I asked, glancing around curiously.

I stared curiously at the girl. "Half-Blood? What's a half-blood?" I asked. I was out of breath from my fight with the chimera with my heart pounding wildly.

I rolled my eyes. "Half human, half greek god." I said.

I narrowed my eyes. "Greek god? Yeah right..." I scoffed. "Okay, it's official..I am dreaming," I noted with a grin.

I grabbed the boy by the throat and pushed him down. "THIS IS NO JOKE!" I yelled.

I narrowed my eyes, frowning. "Uh huh...so who are you then?" I asked.

I got up. "Dari, daughter of Cratus." I say.

I rubbed my neck. "That explains the grip," I noted with a grin. I rose to my feet, brushing some debris off of my jeans. "Okay, then what was that chimera chasing me? What does that have to do with being a 'Half-Blood'?" I asked.

"It's a monster. They chase demigods." I said, plainly, like he should have known that.

I nodded my head slowly. "So, then if they were chasing me..then I must be a demigod," I noted. I tilted my head a bit. "Then whose child am I?" I asked. I took the elastic bracelet off of my wrist, watching as it turned into a sword. "And why does this bracelet turn into a sword?" I asked.
OOC:Do you mind if one of my other new characters joins the roleplay?

I nod my head slowly. "Ares...Ares, my father, gave me a bracelet sword named Arsen..." I repeated. I simply smiled, once again thinking she was joking. "Yeah...sure," I said.
I made my way slowly up the hill, flipping my blond hair and revealing my blue eyes. I grinned, seeing two people up at the top of the hill. I had a dream the night before telling me to come here. I closed my eyes, recalling the dream. A beautiful women who called herself Aphrodite told me I was her son. She had told me to come here to be safe from all the monsters that attacked me. I reopened my eyes, trudging up the hill. I wasn't entirely sure exactly what she meant, but it did explain a lot. On my back hung my two swords, Dysis and Celene. I paused by the two, giving the girl a charming smile. "Hey there," I said, flipping my blond hair again.

I looked at the boy strangely then rolled my eyes. "You're gonna have to do way more than a hair flip to get me." I laughed and batted my eyes. I laughed even more.

I looked over at Kardel curiously then turned his gaze back to Dari. "This place is weird.." I noted, shaking my head. I looked over at Kardel again with a sigh. "And who are you then?" I asked.
Kardel grinned, raising an eyebrow. "That's alright...I do enjoy a challenge," he said. He then turned to the other guy with another grin. "I am Kardel, Son of Aphrodite. I'm new," I explained.

"New kid here, new kid there!" I yelled. "Sorry, temper." I smiled at Kardel. "I'm Dariana, or Dari, daughter of Cratus."

I looked between the two curiously. "Okay, that explains who you are.." I said, looking at Dari. Then I turned my gaze to the other guy who was there. "But who are you?" I asked.
I frowned, a slight smirk crossing my face. "You didn't apologize for your temper when you tried to choke me to death.." I noted. I then turned to Kardel. "I'm Alcander and I think I'm the Son of Ares..." I said. As if on cue a red sword appeared above my head and then faded away. I nodded. "Yep..Ares," I added with a grin.

I chuckled, grinning. "Well, I think it's time we explored this camp," I noted. After a moment I noticed I didn't exactly know my way around.
I looked over at Dari. "Hey temper, mind being a dear and showing me around a bit so I don't have to stand out here and get attacked by chimeras again?" I asked in a mock-sweet tone.

I eyed Alcander curiously. "There's no need to be rude, Alcander," I noted.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever," I noted with a sigh. Without waiting from a response, I walked forward. "Let's go pretty boy, before she tries to choke you too," I added, glancing back at the two.
