I was walking to the lake in a muscle short and a bathing suit with my guitar and songbook. When I got to the lake I sat down opened up my songbook and started singing.

Someday someday I'm gonna be the next big thing!" I put my guitar and song book at a safe distance where they wouldn't get wet, took off my shirt and dived in to the lake. "Whoo that's was just what I needed." I said while swimming to the edge of the lake.

OOC: I'm guessing that Arizona is gonna ask Julio out in this topic, right?

Arizona Nala Adams

Arizona ran in her flip flops to the lake. The healthy green grass tickled her feet, causing her to giggle. She stopped running once she was close to the lake. Tucking a piece of orange hair behind her ear, she smiled. The lake was always so peaceful. She came here to relax often. To get away from all the drama that the Aphrodite cabin carried. She could hear soft singing as she approached. Quickly, she ducked behind a willow tree, trying to figure out who it was. She recognized him. It was Julio. He lead sing alongs every now and again. Arizona smiled, wrapping her towel around herself. Just as she was going to say hi, he ran off into the water. She walked onto the sand, set her towel down carefully, along with her beach bag. Arizona jogged over to a large rock. They called it "Danger's Dive". She stood on top, took a deep breath and dove in.

Once I saw Arizona dive in, I quickly ducked underwater and swam toward her. I grabbed her and pulled her down. I swam back to the top to be greeted by a lovely lady. "Hey Ari, Nice to see you here." I said before swimming to the shore line.

Arizona pop up out of the water only to be greeted by Julio. She smiled, showing her pearly whites. "Hi." She gave an innocent wave. Pushing her fire red hair behind her ear and held onto Julio's shoulder to keep afloat. She wasn't the best swimmer. Arizona looked at him cherrily. "So, what have you been doing lately. I haven't talked to you in a couple weeks." Arizona played with her hair absentmindedly.

I noticed her twirling her hair and just chuckled. "Ehh not much, a little training, a little this, a little that, the weekly visit to my mom's candy store." I think I'm gonna give her a little surprise. "Hey I got a something for you, close your eyes."

Arizona smiled. "Cool, I didn't know your mom had a candy shop." She furrowed her eyesbrows and closed her eyes anyway. What could it be? That was all the was going through her head right now. What could it be, what could it be? She loved surprises though. One of her dreams: Someone to throw her a surprise party.

After Arizona closed her eyes I leaned in to kiss her and my lips met hers sucessfully. I ended the kiss and ducked underwater. Wow that was amazing, I most definitely got the right girl for me! he thought to himself as a little smile appear on his face.

Arizona was so surprised she didn't even know what to do. It was over before she could even think. Quickly, she opened her eyes and started to say, "Ju-" Soon, realizing he was gone. She just swam in place awkwardly. Why had she not kissed him back? Why had he kissed her in the first place? Questions like this ran through her head.

I popped out of the water to see a confused Arizona, I chuckled a little bit. "Like your surprise?" I asked her as I was getting out, letting my feet hang in the water. "I know you like me that way that's why I kissed you because I kinda... like you... too." I said getting red.

Arizona nodded, still unable to talk. She climbed onto the near by dock and sat down, her toes gliding across the water. She painted her toes that morning, good thing she did too. Arizona looked over at Julio with a huge smile on her face. "So, you wanna go do something later? I was thinking a trip to the roller rink or a walk around central park then some dinner." She smiled, taking his hand in hers.

She liked the feel of his lips on her skin. It sent a tingle down her spine. Arizona blushed and nodded. "So, if we're gunna go it's gunna take me at least and hour and a half to get ready. Just sayin'." She shrugged. She would have to find a nice outfit, that was also casual, a nice pair of shoes and do her hair and make up all over again. She would have to take a nice hot shower too. Arizona leaned ehr head on his shoulder. All hers. He was all hers now.

I thought about where to go on the date tonight then it hit me; a movie. I got up, walk to the grass, turned around and started running to the end and cannonballed in. I rose back up to the top. "How about a movie and if yes what would you like to see?" I asked floating in the lake.

Arizona smiled. A movie. What movies were out? A movie sounds good. What movies are out right now?" She racked her brain. Nothing came to mind but, Magic Mike. She would not go see magic mike with Julio. She searched her brain for some other movie. Should they go see a romantic movie? She didn't really care for romance movies. What about Savages? That looked good. "What about Savages?"

Arizona racked her brain once again. "Well, theres: Ted, That's My Boy, Chernobyl Diaries and The Dictator but, thats all I can think of right now." She smiled and let out a small giggle. Her feet kicked the water below, making tiny circles. She lay down on the dock, so her head was almost off the side. Her finger now played with the water.

After hearing the list i have thought about it and came to a decision. "I've had given this some thought and my decision from that group of movies is Chernobyl Diaries." I said. I got of the water. "I got a text from Scott saying that he's going to see Chernobyl Diaries, tonight, at 7:00, with Lily Browne. Isn't that the same time we were going to go see Chernobyl Diaries?" I asked after reading the text.

Arizona smiled. "I guess it's a double date then." She hadn't gone on a date in forever. Arizona stood up, ran to the end of the dock and did a swan dive into the water. She just needed to stay cool, it was extremely hot outside.

I sent a text back saying So are Arizona and I, wanna double date.. "I just asked him if he wanted to double date." I turned around and saw a familiar face. "Hey Jake. Arizona, Jake; Jake, Arizona, she is my date tonight." I told him looking at Arizona. I turned Jake. "Dude I know you're unclaimed but I swear to Zeus, you are a son of Apollo. So when you get claimed, come find me and I'll help you move."

I checked out Arizona and fist bumped Julio. "Nice." then I got a little depressed. "Dude, it's 3 months since I got here. when did you get claimed?" I asked him.

Arizona gave a friendly wave to Jake then got out of the water. "Excuse me for a moment." She smiled and walked over to her towel, grabbing her belongings. There was some Hermes kids playing not to far away. She had some pretty expensive stuff in that bag. For example, the IPad her dad sent her last week. It was brand new and she didn't want it stolen. She jogged back over to Julio and Jake. Her purple towel was wrapped around her shoulder, with her beach bag on her arm.

"Once I passed the gate." I then saw a Lyre appear above Jake's head. "Hey Jake look up."

I looked up and saw a holographic Lyre and then a orange glow appear around me. "Does this mean...?"

Arizona nodded. "Jake, son of Apollo." She smiled at him and patt him on the back. "Congrats, dude." She didn't know exactlly what to do. When she'd got claimed, she'd looked like a goddess for week.

I was so excited when the glow appeared because I knew I was right. "I told you were a son of Apollo, come on let's go move you to Apollo Cabin. Oh yeah and that glow is gonna die down in 3... 2... 1.." I told him gathering my stuff.

As soon as Julio said 1 the glow died down. "Now hold on, I just got here I wanna swim in the lake for awhile before heading to my new living quarters in Apollo cabin." I told him as I was taking of my shirt. I ran to the edge of the lake and did a flip into the lake. "Come on in, the water's fine." He said.

Arizona shook her head. "Knock yourself out, I'm going to get changed. I'll see you," she gave Julio a kiss on the cheek, "at seven." She winked and slipped on her flip flops, walking away. She couldn't wait for their date. It was a scary looking movie too, so Arizona was even more excited, even though they didn't scare all that much.
