Half-Bloods
Name: Kiyo Makaveli
Age/Birthday: 12 years old, May 1st

Mortal Family: Unknown to Kiyo, but his father is Mike Dean
Years in Camp: None
Brief History: Kiyo was now twelve years old, and he had never had a normal life. He was constantly being attacked by weird creatures he could not explain, and he had never had a family. He roamed the streets of Manhattan and the forest areas around New York, trying to find any shelter. He was a very smart boy, able to solve most mysteries. He had a very high interest in architecture and would read any book he could. He attended a school in local New York until he got attacked by what he swore was a one eyed monster. It reminded him of a story he heard of the greeks, like a cyclops or something. Thats when a satyr told him that he was a Demigod, and he realized that his mother was Athena.
Physical Appearance: Kiyo has cropped black hair and gentle grey eyes that could easily turn stormy on those who make him mad. He has raised cheekbones and a broken smile. His chin is very sharp, and he is very pale. He normally wears ripped up breeches and a t-shirt.
Personality: Normally quiet and observative, he watches everyone from a distance. He tries to stay calm and keep his cool, but he has a very high temper when he is angry. He easily grows passionate about architecture and other people. As he did not have many friends, those he did have he trusted with his life. He was a smart witty kid and he didn't realize just how strong he could be. That doesn't mean he didn't have weaknesses, because he had many. One being that he was easily distracted by something he found interesting. Another being he wanted to rush into any fight he saw, and he normally ended up hurt afterward. He was clumsy at times and tried his best not to show it. He is easily embarassed when he is the center of attention.
Fatal Flaw: Friendship and Loyalty. He lives by his fear of monsters, to protect him and his friends. He will jump in the way for his friends any day, and does not care for himself if his friends are hurt. He blames himself if anyone gets injured and he thinks he may have been able to prevent it.
Pets: None at this time, but it is said a silver owl followed him while he was on his way to Half Blood Hill. He named it Milenus
Talents: He is great at causing arguments and calming his friends down, as well as giving them the silent treatment.
Weapons: He has been given a celestial bronze dagger and a short sword from his mother while he visited her during his first summer at Camp Half-Blood. He named the sword 'Faithful' and the dagger 'Moon lace' as he absolutely adored the flower called Moon lace.
Year-Round or Summer: Year Round.
Other: After all is said and done, Kiyo is a level headed, argumentative child. He is confused about the whole demigod thing, but he seemed to be getting used to it with each day at camp. He began to fit in after a week or so.
Caden Evans, Son of Hecate- Spoiler:
Name: Caden Evans
Age/Birthday: 16
Gender: Male
God Parent: Hecate

Years in Camp: 1 Year. It was his first year. He was slowly learning to control his powers.
Brief History: Caden has had an easier time then most demigods as he is the Son of Hecate, and he used his powers to get rid of enemies. He was unsure of how he did it until he had a dream, leading him to Camp Half-Blood. On his way, he was attacked by a rogue Cyclops, which he easily took down by outrunning it. The cyclops was just a baby, but he was powerful nonetheless. Caden had to use his magic and wits to get away from the cyclops. He led it to the barriers of Camp Half-Blood, and threw his hands out which made a shockwave causing the Cyclops to disenergrate.
Physical Appearance: Long wavy black hair which covers his eyes most of the time. His eyes are a sharp electric blue, which change color when he is mad, or focusing his magic. He is paler than most people at Camp, and he is skinny but tall. He is about 5'11" and weighs about 160. He is rather built for being a Hecate child.
Personality: He is calm, but very tricky. Most of the time, he is smooth and hard to anger. He is level headed and loves to draw and study his magic. He tries to help out anytime he can and he absolutely adores Athena and Apollo kids.
Fatal Flaw: Lack of self. Despite being suave and sweet, he puts himself down if he does anything wrong. He is hateful towards himself, and often makes himself feel worthless.
Pets: He has a grey wolf pup that he nursed since birth. His name is Caligo and he protects his pup with all his life. He nursed it back to health when he was 9 years old and the pup was just born. He found Caligo in the woods, cut up and bloody.
Talents: Skilled with his magic, and daggers. He is very persuasive and alert.
Weapons: He carries two obsidian daggers and has a staff strapped to his back.
The daggers have Celestial bronze tips and obsidian bases. They can hurt both human and monsters.
The daggers were created by his Mother, Hecate with Hephaestus's help.

Naomi, Daughter of Khione- Spoiler:

Name: Naomi 'Nae Nae'

Years in Camp: 2 years but no one really noticed her, as she was always quiet.
Brief History: Naomi remembered waking up in the middle of the night often, finding snowflakes and ice around her blankets. She can remember when she was walking to school by herself, she was targetted by what seemed to be a giant that wanted to eat her. She was injured badly as the giant had hurled boulders at her and she was hit a few times, scraped up but she wouldn't give up, she had managed to freeze the giant's feet long enough to get away. When she got the camp, many archers had shot down the Laistrygonian and she found herself safe. Her father never cared for her, always calling her a freak and smacking her around. He was very abusive and she hated him for it. She ran away when she was 7 and had been on her own ever since. Until her mother, Khione, sent Hermes as a messenger to Naomi. Naomi had been given the nickname Nae Nae by friends back home, which she visits on occasion.
Physical Appearance:She has silky, wavy blonde hair that reaches the small of her back. Her eyes were the softest sapphire blue, and her complexion was pale. She was as white as snow, as her friends at school had told her. She normally wears flowing dresses and skirts, and wears a snowflake necklace her mother had given her before she entered camp. She is a very nimble and small girl who likes lace and bows. She is 4'11" and about 90 pounds.
Personality: She is a quiet, lovable girl. She can be hyper, and she loves to sing and run. She will be friends with anyone and trusts much too quickly. She is graceful, and smart at times, but she lets her curiosity get the best of her. She is rather small, too.
Fatal Flaw: Curiosity. She has an obsession with anything that makes her ask "How does it work and why?" She loved to learn, and she was also very emotional at times. She often times gets herself into trouble with her curiosity, as the saying goes. Curiosity killed the cat. She also trusts much too fast, and lets people manipulate her. She can be easily persuaded.
Talents: Singing and drawing, she loves both.
Weapons: The snowflake necklace has a small button she presses, which then becomes a long sword. The sword has freezing properties and can send jets of pure ice at her enemies *The ice expends a lot of her energy, so she can only use it twice before she gets too tired to use it.* The ice shards cut and freeze the enemys movements, or at least slows them down. She is rather skilled with the blade as she has been training everyday at camp for two years.
Another weapon she uses are the water vapor in the air. She can create small icicles that she uses as projectiles, daggers, or arrows. She cannot use them, however on a very hot day, or places where ice would melt. I.E. A volcano.

Name: Kailey "KayKay" Weathers

Mortal Family: Unlike other demi-gods, she has had a 'normal' family life.
A stepmother and a Father.
Her
stepmother and father lied to her, saying the stepmother was her real
mother. They went on a cruise and never returned.
Years in Camp: 3
Brief History: Kailey's
life was very difficult for her. Growing up she believed that she was a
normal girl only to find out that she was a monster magnent. She was
walking to school one day when a baby Cyclops showed up. Its a good
thing she was near the water because she closed her eyes and jumped into
the ocean current. A hurricane formed and took her safely to school.
Kailey grew up in Southern Florida, so when she wasn't busy she was
always in the ocean. She felt safe there, she always felt as if someone
was watching over her. The night that her parents died out at sea is
the night that Amphitrite showed herself to Kailey. She packed her
bags and headed for Camp Half-Blood the next day, with the guidance of
her mother.
Physical Appearance: Kailey's
an average fifteen year old girl. Her eyes were sea green, and her
hair was the color of sand. She was tan and she always seemed to be
wearing shorts, sandals, and a T-Shirt. She always carried her weapons
sheathed at her waist, and wore a dolphin necklace.
Personality: Kailey
is a level headed, confident girl. She shows no fear nor does she back
down. She respects her elders, and leaders, but she relies on no one.
She has always been independent.
Fatal Flaw: She tries to do everything on her own. She doesn't like getting helped out.
Pets: Horses and marine life seem to cling to her when present.
Talents:
She is known to be able to hear things in the wind, as well as slightly
control the wind currents. She has basic abilities in the water, such
as increased swimming speed, being able to breathe under water for
prolonged amounts of time (Takes a lot of energy) and shes able to see
clearly underwater.
Weapons:
She wields 'Aqua' and 'Aero' twin xiphos (Leaf Swords) and she also has a
bow strapped to her back. 'Aqua' glows blue as the ocean and can spray
jets of water out of it. 'Aero' can send currents of air at the
opponents and make shockwaves. Both abilities of the swords expend a
ton of energy and Kailey can't sustain the abilities for long.

Name: Mason Nakuro

Years in Camp: Since age 10
Brief History: Mason was found by a police officer in the bronx of New York next to his mother's corpse, at the age of five. His life hadn't been easy. He has always had trouble wondering who his father was, growing up on the streets wasn't the worse of his memories. When he was five years old, a gang had taken his mother into an alley and killed her in front of him. When the gang turned to kill Mason, his eyes turned pure black, and the air around them felt cold. They began to shudder with fear and then they passed out. Mason didn't know what happened, but after the police gave him to the foster family, he had a dream that led him straight to Camp Half-Blood. Nyx later revealed that she led him to Camp Half-Blood and that his father was Erebos.
Physical Appearance: Mason is a pretty average boy. He is about 5'5 and weighs 150 pounds. His eyes are as dark as the night, and he always wears his black hair over his eyes. He seems to be happy, when he is really depressed and broken inside.
Personality: Mason is quiet, and collective. He isn't very sociable but he is decent with words and can charm females with ease. He enjoys reading, and he is known to have mood swings. He can be friendly, and very secretive. He keeps his emotions back because he is afraid of being judged.
Fatal Flaw: He is easily deceived. He trusts blindly if it means having a friendship, even if its false.
Pets: He has a gray wolf that follows him around named Felix.
Talents: He is skilled at using his stygian iron daggers and his celestial bronze longsword. He isn't great at archery, but he does have a bow.
Weapons: Mason has dual stygian iron daggers from Nyx and a celestial bronze longsword from the Camp Half-Blood armory. The daggers are named 'Shadow' and 'Stone' because of the darkness they hold. He has the ability to create a field of darkness around himself, making his enemies temporarily blind or disoriented. This does not affect those who have the power of clearsight, or the demigods whose parents have light attritubes (Apollo, Hemera)

| Well, it's good, but "easily out-running a cyclops?" That'd be pretty hard. The adults are pretty huge. You might want to say if it's a baby, child, or adult. You could also say that your character used magic to help him out-run the cyclops.

| She's a nice character, but her physical appearance needs one more sentence, and her talents need to be toned down. Try being very specific! Specifically what can she do? Not even Poseidon kids can do "anything that has to do with water, boating, and swimming!" Make sure when editing it is obvious she isn't as powerful because her parent is a minor goddess!
Once you change that, I'll accept. | |
