Meeting New People

Subject: Meeting New People Fri Jan 21, 2011 10:29 am

Sighing Destiny walked up to a tree in the middle of the forest, sliding down the trunk she grabbed her head in her arms. She couldn't do this anymore, this was too much. Without realizing it she started to cry.

Jasper sat on the bottom of a random tree in the forest, deep in his own thoughts. A minute later water dropped on his head. He looked up, hoping to see rain clouds, but saw a crying girl instead. Wondering why, he spoke out loud. "Ello up there! Are you alright? Crying at the top of a tree?" he asked. The moment later, he saw the supidity of his own question.

Detiny gasped, she looked down. Wiping her eyes she said, "I'm sorry, I didn't know somebody else was here." She jumped off the lowest branch to greet the boy. I must look like a mess she thought. "Hi," She said, mentally cursing herself. "I'm Destiny."

"Jasper. Son of Morpheus." he smiled. She looked kind of okay, for someone who's crying, and he smiled again. "Judging by the fact that you just cried and still looked fit for the mall, I'm guessing your another Aphrodite kid." he smirked. Flipping his slightly brown, overgrown hair out of the way, he proceeded to sit down and motioned her to do the same.

Destiny smiled, "Yeah, I am." She wiped at her eyes again. Sittting down next to Jasper she asked, "So how long've you been here?"

"A while actually." he smiled and looked at her sheepishly. He was actually here since breakfast but it was his secret. "Why are you crying?" he asked.

"Cool," Destiny said, smiling back. "And because this is so much to take in, you know? A few days ago I thought I didn't have a mom, and now I find out she's a freaking goddess!" Sighing she flipped her hair over her shoulder.

He chuckled. He was also like that in his first time he knew he had godly blood. "Atleast your parent was never a traitor." he smiled, a little hurt from the memory of his first day in camp. He always ignor the glares he recieved but it didn't mean it didn't bother him.

He shrugged. "S'kay. Life goes on right?" he asked. He just
wanted her to smile. All this sadness around him made him want to keep all happiness he could get. Even from a stranger.

Yeah," Destiny said nodding, "I guess you're right," She smiled, looking at Jasper.

looked at the sky, which was slightly sunny, and saw birds. Deep in thought, he sighed.

I walked through the forest, amoung the trees. I wanted to find something to help me. The sun was shining bright, and steams of light fell through the canopy.

I jumped out of the tree I had been resting n spotting a new demi god, my hand traveled to my belt wearily eying the newcomer

I saw some girl jump out of a tree. "OH Hey, who are you?" I asked warmly.

I stared at him blankly. "You best be movin on. Sphynx's come out this time of night."

"I know, Thats why I came out here. I need to get in more practice." I replied. She wasnt gonna get rid of me that easily.

I glanced up at my weapons cache in my tree. I was pretty unarmed except for my small dagger I did not want ANYONE especially if they were from camp to see what was going on. He'd probably take me prisoner. Or worse

I continued staring at him. "Sword" I said bluntly my eyes never wavering from his.

I looked back at my tree edgily 'C'mon get this guy outta here. This is not going to end well for me if he see's that crap where it is.

"what are you looking at?" I asked. I looked around but didnt see any monsters or anyhting of the sort.
