Thinking about...

I was walking along he beach, trying to get my thoughts together. I needed to make more friends. I had more friends out of camp, but, I only had a few now. Part of that was I was so shy. I quietly watched the others around me, they all seemed to be having fun with their own lives. Good. Hopefully I'll be able to make some friends before time runs out.

Even with my personality, people didn't understand that I really was a nice person. People usually take one look at me and then walk away, that makes It hard t make friends. I was so self absorbed in my thoughts I almost didn't notcie as I walked into someone.

I noticed a boy close to me. He seemed nice, So I decided, next time he looked oer at me I would smile at him.

I smiled at him. "My name's Max Hastings. Whats yours?" I cocked my head to the side.

Falcon..I liked that name. "I'm good thanks. How are you?" I followed his lead and looked out over the water.

"Thats not good." I considered his words. He probably had problems too, same as me. I switched myself around so I was laying on my stomache but still staring out at the ocean/lake.

"I can understand that" I looked up into the sun, warming myself. I loved the sun, It was great.

I laughed. "Well, this may sound funny, but My Daddy is Zues." I laughed to myself again. He was seeing me in my rare nice form.

"Well," I draw out the L's. "My father is Zues, yet right now I'm being really nice. Not common for Zues kids."

" I see your point." The sun was getting hot, so I stood up. "How about we get into the water?" I looked over at him.

While he stayed on the sand I wadded out until I was up to my knees. I stayed in for a few minutes then went back to where Falcon was sitting. "So," I asked, Dragging out the 'o'. "Is there a story behind your name?" I said, sitting down again.

I laughed with him. "I really like your name. It's original."
