I sat near the bank of the ocean, while thoughts rummaged through my head. I was thinking about visiting my father in New York City. I couldn't believe I haven't seen him in five years. What if he was dead? What if he encountered an illness? What if he was different than before? I drowned my hand in the water, and splashed at nothing. My expression was dry.
