Tyler waited for the others to finish packing for the road trip by Thalia's pine. Him and a few of his friends had decided to ditch campus for a few days and hang around at a casino to relax and kick back. His large Mercedes Benz was parked on the curb, and he tossed the keys in his hand to occupy the time while he waited.

I sauntered outside, holding a large black duffel bag. I open the trunk of a parked car, and toss it in carelessly. "Ready?" I ask him, smiling softly. I've been to Vegas before, just gambling, sexy ladies, and lots of smokers. The worst things in the world!

"Let's get this show on the road." I said slinging a bag across my back. I needed a break.

I nodded towards Emily and Mercedes. "Let's wait for a couple more people who should be coming in a few seconds." I told them. I could already see some of the others walking towards us with their bags in hand.

I felt weighed down by my over-packed, purple-and-black plaid backpack. The back zipper was half open, revealing a brown teddy-bear. I got it from my best-friend years ago. Eh, it was my secret luck charms. My sister trailed her lazy-butt behind. "Come on!" I yelled back at her. When I looked back ahead, I saw a group of people consisting Mercedes, Emily, and Tyler. "Good'day!" I greeted.

My legs hurt like hell! Ugh, why was I so lazy? My blue-and-white striped bag hung low on my body, and my oversized, Gucci purse had make-up spilling from it. All of the bloody hell in that bag was Haley's. Finally, I reached the pack and greeted them. "Ello!" I said, trying to act like I wasn't sweating.

I greeted the twins with a wave. "Need some help with that?" I inquired, staring at the huge bag Misty dragged along. "We're supposed to have a couple more people, but they'll catch up to us later." I said, nodding towards the spare car which was intended for the people who weren't here yet.

"C'mon guys. Let's hit the road." I said, winking as I tossed the keys one last time before striding towards the Mercedes Benz and unlocking the car, climbing in the driver's seat.

"Hey...wait, I got my own car." I said climbing into the driver's seat of my 1967 Mustang Fastback GT.

Daniël came jogging up the hill, he had been invited to a random visit to Vegas, he wasn't going to say no of course, "G'day mate," he said in his thick Aussie accent. His short salt-and-pepper hair was spiked-up in a messy way but made him looked very very yummy. His muscles bulged in his green V-neck shirt paired with some Billabong shorts and Adidas shoes.

As soon as I saw Emily's car, I raised my hand and laughed. "I'm going with Emily!" I barked, hopping into the front seat of her Mustang. This ride was sweet! It had seatwarmers, it had leather seats, and loud sterio!

I glared at Emily across the road from the front seat, a joking shine in my eye. "Maybe a race is in order here?" I smiled deviously, revving the engine, anticipating the ride. My car may have been a little old and banged up, but I kept it in good condition, polishing it and changing it's engine every once in a while. I also had added surround-sound sterio to it a few years ago.

I nodded towards Daniel, Misty, and Haley, "You guys better be coming with me." I laughed with a smile on my face.

I toned down the engine until it was just a gentle purr. "Ah alright." I replied to her, understanding. I hated it when my car's engine died out on me as well. "So, shall we get moving? I want to get there before midnight so I don't fall asleep at the wheel."

"Wait for usss!" I said, sprinting to Tyler's car and flailing my arms. Looking back to see Felix lagging behind me, I grinned and hopped in the front seat next to him before sticking my tongue out at Felix. "I don't understand why you raced me when I called 'shotgun,' fair and square." I said, closing my eyes and holding out my hands in the cliché smug way before cutting him off before he got to speak.

"- And don't say you weren't warmed up. You gotta face the fact that I'm quicker than you, old man." I said, deciding to serenade him and Tyler with 'Be A Man' from Mulan.

I chuckle softly as I watch Melinda racing up towards my car, singing, with Felix trailing behind. "I was worrying you two would miss the trip!" I shouted to them from the front seat. "Hop in," I began, then broke off as Melinda hopped in the front seat next to me. I waited for Felix to catch up, sympathizing.
"Don't worry, man. She even beats me all the time." I said, smiling broadly.

"Alright, alright." I shouted over to Emily. I revved the engine loudly and looked at Emily pointedly through my open window, as if saying 'I don't care if you don't wanna kill your car, but I'm gonna smash the speedometer on this thing in a few seconds!'
I pressed down on the gas and tore off down the hill, the wind lashing through my hair and stinging my eyes before I pulled up the window. I stopped at the bottom of the slope, waiting for Emily to become level with my car. As I waited, I quickly hooked up a small system which I managed to connect to Emily's car frequency, so we could communicate.

"Seatbelts!" I screeched. I put my aviators on and flew down the hill surpassing the Benz...yeah ok...A Benz was faster than a Mustang, but I wasn't up for racing. This car was special to me.
