Rufus' Imaginary Friends -- - Page 2 Castor
I'm no victim of conformity...
@@@@@@@@@@

Name: Castor Six

Age/Birthday: 12/12 (13)

Gender: Male

God Parent: Apollo

Claimed: Nope

Mortal Family: Janine Allock ( Adoptive mother ) @@ Freddie Allock ( Adoptive Father ) @@ Pollux Six ( Brother (Deceased) ) @@ Selene Six ( mother (Deceased) )

Years in Camp: None. This is his first.

Brief History: Born on the twelfth of december 1997, Castor Six was the second and last child of Selene Six, whom already had one child called Pollux with a different man. Named after one of the two twins in gemini, Castor never knew his mother, as she died shortly after giving birth to him. Both Castor and Pollux (who was only two at the time) were sent off to an adoption agency, where they were taken in by an elderly couple, Janine and Freddie Allock. The two boys were happy and healthy, raised in a stable environment alongside the Allock's two dogs, Poppler and Fry, named by their own children who had left home a while ago. That is, until Castor's fifth birthday. Castor always lacked a sense of danger, and was toddling across a road, when a speeding car skidded on the snowy road, set on a course for the young boy. Not wanting to see his brother dead, Pollux (who was playing out with Castor at the time) jumped up at Castor, shoving him out of the way, so that he would be safe. Unfortunately, Pollux got hit with the full force of the moving vehicle, and was pronounced dead on arrival at the local hospital. Castor was heart-broken. Not only had he lost his brother, but his best friend. At least he was too young to beat himself up about it. However, when Castor went to sleep that night, he had a strange dream. His brother appeared to him, saying that he was sorry for what he was about to do, but it had to be done. He also mentioned something about unfinished buisness, and a false past. When Castor woke up in the morning, he wasn't the only person in his body. Pollux's spirit had floated into him, but wasn't strong enough to take over, leaving Castor with a very annoying talking voice inside his mind, guiding him through life. Unlike other people who suffered from the take-over of spirits, Castor had the sense to hide the fact the he was talking to someone inside his head (a sign of schizophrenia) by not doing it in public, and was allowed to stay on at the Allock's, even though he told them many a time about the voices in his head. Things continued to run pretty smooth-ish for the next eight years, until Castor befriended a satyr who finally sniffed him out as a son of Apollo, and asked his parents for permission to take him to Camp Half-Blood. After they agreed, Castor and his satyr friend left. And that's where we are now.

Physical Appearance:
Unlike the stereotypical Apollo kid, Castor has a thick mop of dark brown hair, twinned with hazel eyes, taken on from his mother. His skin is pale, and vaugely spot-free, although he has not really reached that stage yet. He stands at 5"4.22 and weighs 154 pounds. His facial features are regularly described as feminine, with his eyes filled with innocence, and his small pout-shaped lips. His nose could be described as slightly too big for his face, but it depends what way you look at it. His face is where the femininity ends, with his body defenately being that of a man, with a flat stomach and chest. He usually dresses in dark colors, or in graphic t-shirts, and will never be found wearing anything that reveals his legs (in other words, no shorts, just jeans.) He always seems to have earphones dangling around his neck, and never takes off the bandana that covers his neck, as it was Pollux's from when he was alive.

Personality:
Despite a bright outlook on life, Castor always seems to come across as a dark-spirited person, usually due to the fact that when he meets a new person, he has an insatiable thirst to be cynical and mean, as if it's a defence mechanism. That doesn't necessarily mean he's quiet though. In fact, quite the opposite. He's a chatterbox, and once you get him started, you probrably won't get him to shut up, at least, not for a very long time. He is easily bored, and if there's no-one to annoy or talk to, he likes to draw to satisfy the hunger for fun that boredom creates.

Fatal Flaw:
He doesn't follow rules at all. It's not as if he is meant to be a bad kid or anything, he just finds it impossible to follow orders. For example, if someone said "Tidy your bunk." unless he was threatened with death, then he wouldn't tidy it. Another flaw is that he is easily distracted, especially by Pollux when he's chatting to him from inside his mind.

Pets: I don't have pets, but I have a human trapped inside my head... Does that count?

Talents:
@@ Not that bad at art
@@ Has quite a good aim
@@ Can talk for six hours straight.

Weapons:
A sword that changes into a pencil that he keeps behind his ear.

Year-Round or Summer:
Year-round at the moment.

Other: He has a spirit called Pollux (who is his dead brother) who talks to him from inside his mind, but doesn't mention him to people in case he gets put on medication. Of course, there is always a chance that he is crazy, and just imagining the voice inside his head. Grief affects us all in different ways, especially when we don't know we're grieving.

So don't tell me to behave.
