Kat's first test [OPen to Apollo campers]

I walked into the arena, my sword in hand, it was really a old hunting knife add a few layers of bronze and a silver wire for decore. and I had one wicked short sword. Although it cuz a bump on the head and a twisted ankle all better now though. I looked around in awe at the place

I come in behind her. "Big huh?" I ask her, while throwing my grubby, grey gym bag to the side and grabbing my sword, swinging it around for practice.

I nodded, taking my sword out of the steah. and gently ran my fingers over the sharp ends. It was prefect blanced I made a swip, ruff but pretty good for a frist timer.

I frowned, "Parts of a sword, and everyone here are some kind of Hybred people" I said truefully

"Ok." I said, still warming up. "Well, before you start, you have to make sure you are warmed up, otherwise...bad things happen." I tell her smiling.

I took that warning to heart, I was a clutz bad things happened to me standing still... I started to warm up

While she was warming up, I went through a few jabs. "First, learn your oppenents weaknesses."

"Second, you need to have a 'game face'. A look that makes it seem like you know exactaly what they are thinking, and makes you look intimidating." I tell her, looking her way to make sure she got it. "Ok, now look at me and give me your 'RAWR' face." I say chuckling.

I frowned, "Grr?" I asked looking more like a kitten then scary, I ran towards a dummy at a good speed, Incoric that I was a clutz yet very gracefull when it came to stunts. I jumped on the bealchers and ran across then, a sweet smile on my face as I jumped of it and landed on a dummies back, but my sword wasn't at a dangerous angle, almost falling out my hand.

I watch as she runs at the dummy. "Not bad." I tell her, "Just your sword slipping out of your hand." I tell her laughing. "Now, if that were a real person that you were fighting, supposing that their reflexes were good, they would be shocked for a moment, but quickly regain their senses and then knock your sword from your hand. Leaving you in a weak spot, unarmed and on their back." I say, half a smile on my face. "So, to fix that, you either need holding lessons..." I say laughing at that thought. "Or, you just need you hilt to be readjusted." I tell her flatly.

I walked into the Arena with Araen in my hands. I grinned when I saw Kat withb who I assumed was one of her siblings. I walked over, giving a single lazy wave. "I see you're up and moving, SolarBrain. How's your ankle?" I asked curiously.

I seen Al and jumped, dropping my sword. "Fine" I said jumping of the dummies back. and picking up my sword

I shook my head, "No" I said smiled and swipped at the dummies ruffly

I watched her a moment before I shrugged my shoulders. I twirled Arsen around in my fingers before slashing at a dummy. I came to the Arena every morning. I ran my fingers through my black hair. I had on a simple white tank top that showed my now more muscular arms. With all the excersises I'm forced to do in my cabin, it's no wonder I was getting more in shape.

I watched the whole secne spread out before me, curious. "Your that boy who brought her back to our cabin when she was hurt, right?" I ask, joining them, and slashing at dummies.

I glanced over at Shawn and gave a quick nod of my head. I did one last powerful swipe before I turned Arsen back into a bracelet and slipped it on my wrist. I turned, wiping some sweat from my forehead. "Yeah...I'm Alcander, Son of Ares," I answered. I didn't really have a problem with the Apollo cabin. I know one of them killed my sister, but it wasn't all of them. So why have a problem with the whole cabin for one person's mistake? It just didn't make sense...But I didn't want my siblings knowing that...

I looked at the too, before sliceing at another dummy poorly, then bit my lip and took a deep breath and made a swipe down to up across the dummies troso, getting a good swipe for once

I chuckle at Kat, "We'll work on that." I tell her, then look back at Al. After glancing at his face, and the expression in his eyes, I decided he was safe, for now. "Thanks for bringing, my lil' sis' back." I say.

I looked back, and frowned, they acted like they were made to kill each other, and had found a way to get along, it wasn't natral though.

"Come on Kat." I say ruffling her hair, "We can work on archery right now, if you want a break from swords." Then turning to Al, "You wanna come?" I ask, but going against all I hold dear.

I looked at my short sword for a moment before puting it in it's seath.
