Looking for, love?

I walk into the forest, tired, and utterly confused. I sit down on the mossy forest floor, and fall on my back with a big sigh. Why wasnt anything working out? I think to my self. I dont want more power, I already have it all. I dont want to be known, everyone already knows me. What is it that I am searching for. A girl? I think not believing that a girlfriend would solve anything; I didnt think it would fill that big empty hole that gnawed at my heart. But maybe...

I walk through the forest hoping to clear my mind. A lot has been going on and I'm not sure how to fix it. I needed someone to talk to. I almost tripped on a tree stump making a rustling sound in the bushes.

I hear a rustling and sit up. I look up and around the bushes to see a girl nearly tripping over a log. I supress a smile. "You alright?" I ask her. I glance at her up and down. She, stunning. Probably Aphrodite, with those drop dead gorgeous looks.

I smile back at the teenage boy in front of me, "Um, yeah I'm just peachy," I say repostioning myself. "I'm just such a klutz," I say shaking my head. I walk toward him, "I'm so sorry, am I bothering you?"

"No, your...your fine." I mumble, looking at her. "Shawn." I say putting out my hand.

I raise my left eyebrow giving him one of my 'don't know you' looks. I hesitantly shake his hand, "Rita. Rita Haywire." But of course you should know that.

"Pleasure." I say smoothly. I sit down again, and grandly gesture to a grassy patch next to me. "Take a seat." I say with a flourish.

"Gadly," I arrogantly accept. I walk over to where he was and I sat myself down. I place my legs in front of me and I let the sun bask over my face letting the glow hit my skin. I close my eyes in nostalgia.

I look at her face and the sun hitit just right, so her skin shimmers. "Your glowing..." I said softly staring at her in awe.

"What?" I ask bluntly. Then I stare down at my hand, "Oh," I say calmly, "Happens at the most randomest times." I say giving a cocky smirk.

I raise and eyebrow sceptically, be decide to drop the subject. "What are you doing in the forest? Looking for something" I ask her, thinking that was why I was here.

I shake my head and place my palm on my forehead. "I-I just need to clear my head." I stammer, "And I was kinda looking for something." I slightly honestly tell him.

"What might it be that you were kinda, looking for?" I ask wanting to know more. "But I do agree, the forest is a great place to clear your head." I say, thinking thats exactaly why I was here.

I raise an eyebrow thinking, Maybe this is just what I need. "What would the person have to be like?" I ask her, getting more curious.

"Someone very close to me," I mumble softly. After a while, the glowing finally stopped. "Finally, you do not know how much it hurts to glow." I complain.

I grin and inch closer. "And?" Her skin returns to normal, "I dont know." I tell her truthfully, with concern in my voice.

I was running through the forest running from what? Oh yes I was running from archery practice. I'm good with a sword but I just couldnt deal with archery today. Looking up at the sky I didnt realize there was a log right in front of me...Next thing I knew I was laying on my back inbetween a boy and a girl. "Oh gods I'm so sorr.." My voice died off when I saw the boy. My first thought was wow. My next thought was "I wonder if there dating?"

A girl comes toppling between us, and I scoot away from Rita. "Naw, your good." I say smoothly. Then I look down into her face, and back up at Rita, totally confused.

I smile inwardly at her stumbling over her words and think, I cant really look that good can I? But then laugh at my self for being to shallow. "Thats a great name." I tell her. "Its a name thats gonna withstand alot of hard times, unlike mine. Shawn Goebel, at your service." I say gentleman like.
