| I wonder around the Camp store looking for a new notebook, pens, and maybe Oreos if there are any. Maybe I should skip the pens and the Oreos and get a new hat. Ha! Skipping Oreos is impossible. I shake my head and continue looking around.
I'm wearing a camp shirt with a black long sleeve shirt underneath it, and dark blue jeans. My blond hair hasn't gotten long enough that it covered my eyes yet, which means I don't need a haircut yet, which is good, because I'm too busy doing other things to get it cut. My gray eyes scan over the notebook on the shelf as I debate which color to get. I pick up a small blue one that can fit in my pocket and continue searching for pens. | |

| Jovan walked into the Camp store, drink in hand. He wasnt sure what he was doing, just randomly walking around the camp. It had been a long time since he had done anything with the camp, and this was the first time he was seen outside of his cabin, or not in the city. | |

| I notice the guy walk in with a drink in his hand and think back to the drunk people walking around D.C. when my dad would have to work late. As I watch him, I notice that he isn't stumbling like someone who is completely drunk, though with the bottle in his hand, I have a feeling he's planning on drinking it all. I realize that I didn't really recognize him, which was unusual. Before I realize what I'm doing, I go over to him and ask, "Is alcohol allowed in camp? I thought because of Mr. D, it was banned or something." | |

| Jovan meandered through the racks of items in the store, looking at everything but not buying anything. A boy walked over to him, he did recognize him, the boy asked him a question about his drink. "Well Dionysus is my father, and I havent been reprimanded yet, so I would say yes. Would you like a glass?" He asked, offering the boy some wine. | |

| Jovan looked disappointed at being turned down. "It really isnt that strong, only 5%, one glass wont hurt you." He replied. "You have never had alcohol? Well its high time you tried some. You might like a nice sweet fruit wine, try this one." Jovan answered pouring the boy a class of watermelon wine, and offering it to him. | |

Suprised by the taste, I take a slightly bigger sip and swish it around in my mouth for a moment before swallowing it. "Wow. I didn't even know you could make wine with watermelons." | |

| Jovan watched slightly amused at Carters reactions. "So, How does it taste?" He asked as he took a few sips. Jovan laughed, "you can make wine out of pretty much any fruit, if you know how to do it properly." He replied. He took another sip of his own glass. | |

| "How do you make wine? Do you make it here at camp?" I ask quickly, my curiosity still peaked at the new experiences. I take another sip of the wine and scratch the back of my head. This guy seemed like the kind of guy my dad would warn me about, but he seemed interesting and I couldn't see a good reason to stop socializing with him, just because he was giving me alcohol. | |

He was glad that Carter actually seemed interested, most others would have ran the other way. It had been a very long time since Jovan had a good conversation with anyone, not including the barmaids and go-go dancers at the clubs in the city. | |

| "You can really turn water into wine?! Can you choose what type of wine it is, or does it just happen on its own?" I inquire. "Doesn't most wine have to be stored for a long time to get very good? Is the wine you make good already? Am I asking too many questions? I've been told that I do sometimes." I finish the glass, and wonder why I'm acting like this. | |
