Cassidy hadn't talked to anyone for almost a month. She just shut everyone out after the zombie apocalypse. She barely had any siblings and she didn't really go to the infirmary anymore. The arts and crafts chaco she didn't go to either because the only images that came to mind were the zombies. She shivered. Zombies. The word just echoed through her head. She just hated that word, but sadly that was the only thing she could think of.

Cassidy was walking towards the Mess Hall. It was lunchtime of course, but she hadn't eaten anything for a while. She still wasn't hungry, but the people at the Hera cabin made her come here. She sighed. She walked into the door and looked around. It was full of kids. She looked down and continued walking. She was just going to eat in her cabin. She sighed again, she'd probably finish the rest of her drawing. She didn't really do much. She mostly just looked at the ceiling of her bunk.

Cassidy looked at the food. Her stomach rumbled. She didn't notice how hungry she was until now. She quickly grabbed a tray and started filling it up with food. She smiled to herself. he hadn't smiled in awhile. It felt good to smile for once since the zombie apocalypse. She took her tray of food smiling, and kept walking out the door. She had bumped into someone, spill in her food and their food on the both of them. She fell right on her bottom. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going. I was just smiling for once and I was happy so I wasn't paying any attention. I'm so sorry again. I'll pay for some new clothes for you." She offered, rambling. She hadn't talked to someone in awhile, so she just had so many things to say.

Maybe the zombie's weren't the best thing for this place. I mean. No one is talking that much because they are still in shock. But they are gone, and I really wished some of my friends will come out of their cabin and have some fun with me. I hate how I always have to go to their cabin and talk to them and we can't play our games we play. And I always have to read their memories because they want me to give them the good times in life. I walk in the mess hall and go to get a tray. I get a plate and get a salad and then put ranch on it. I get some water then add ice in it. I then grab some brownies and then I finally finished. I was happy to eat with some friends. I sit down and start to eat. I realize none of my friends are here at all.

It was making me mad. I finish with my salad and get spaghetti and add sauce to it. I start to head to the door and I bump into someone. Real great!! I just got this shirt and now it's dirty. I look seeing the girl and I stand up "It's fine." I smile listening to her talk and talk. She finally finished and I gave her a hug "Well at least your out a bout instead of inside all the time." I say and let go.

Cassidy smiled as the boy hugged her. She thought it was weird since she just met the boy, but she was happy she actually was talking to someone. "Well, umm I-I just g-got out of my cabin t-today." She stuttered. She had never had trouble talking until now. After the zombie apocalypse, she had just talked to herself in her head, just thinking. So she just guessed she had forget a bit on how to talk to people. It was a bit easier to think, then to other people. "I-I'll buy you a new sh-shirt if you would like. I-I would j-just have to go get some money out of my c-cabin." She said looking at her own shirt. It had a bit of her lunch and his on it. She didn't really care. It's an old shirt anyway, She thought. "I-I'm Cassidy, d-daughter of Aceso." She put her hand out for him to shake it.

He smiled and nodded "Well all my friends are in the cabins. They haven't came out." He said to her. He looked over at her shirt and then his shirt. he chuckled and wiped some of it with a napkin. He looked at her and nodded no 'You do not need to buy me a new shirt. I have plenty. No need to waste your money on me." He told her. He put out his hand for a hand shake even though he had given her a hug. "Nice to meet you Cassidy. I'm Zachariah or Zach and I'm the son of Mnemosyne." he told her. with a dumb smile on his face.

I can't blame them for not coming out. I didn't even want to come out, She thought to herself. Cassidy watched him wipe his shirt with a napkin. "Y-You sh-shouldn't wipe. It'll j-just spread. Y-You should d-dab." She said and sighed. Do you really have to stutter? You never had trouble talking before... you were fine. No stutter at all. Cassidy shrugged to herself. "A-Are you s-sure?" Cassidy asked. She wanted to buy him a shirt, she had to. It was the good thing to do. There it was. Cassidy the good girl. She always had to do the right thing even if it was for the wrong person. She didn't really care if it was for the wrong person. Most of the time it was for the wrong person. She always tried to not do the right thing for those people, but she just couldn't help it. The only time she actually was mean when she wanted revenge. It was a rare occasion when she wanted revenge, but it was only when someone did something mean to her first. Treat people the way you want to be treated. The golden rule. The rule she always used to get in trouble when she accidentally threw something at someone when she was five. The rule she followed at least eleven years later.

Cassidy shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you too. She finally said without a stutter. She smiled a dazzling smile, her blue eyes twinkling. "Are you sure you don't want me to buy you a new shirt? I have plenty of money." She said.

Zach looked at the girl and smiled. He started to dab instead and stopped realizing he should just watch it. I threw my napkins away and threw the other things that were on the ground. "I'm positive. I mean I bought two of these shirts. Just in case something like this happens." he said with a chuckle. He wasn't going to get all crazy for just one shirt. If it was his favorite shirt he would get mad, but never make anyone spend money on him.

He shook her hand and let go when he was done. He heard her words once more "No. It's fine. I have plenty of money anyways. " He said to her. He sat down and looked at her shirt "One day we can go shopping together. " He said with a smirk on his face. It would be nice to get off campus.

"O-okay." She stuttered. When he started dabbing, she mailed at him, a wide grin. She looked down at her own shirt and frowned. She hated being or looking dirty. She would have to go back to the Hera cabin to change her shirt. Luckily, it didn't get on her jeans. Cassidy looked back at him. "Why not go shopping now?" She asked, grabbing his wrist. Cassidy started smiling from ear to ear and started dragging him back to the Hera cabin. "I-I just n-need to grab my money first and ch-change my shirt first." She said trying to ignore the people laughing at them. What's so funny of some food on a shirt? Like really people, She thought to herself. She rolled her eyes at them and continued dragging Zach to the Cabin 2. When they finally arrived, she let go. She quickly grabbed a shirt from her drawer and went into the bathroom to change. She grabbed her wallet and skid it into her pocket. "So uh r-ready to g-go?" She asked excitedly.

Zach sat there and smiled. He saw some people laughing or even giggling as they walked in. Yes but if it happens to them then who's the one laughing. He thought to himself. He then heard her speak of shopping know. When she grabbed his wrist he got up. Then his mind went blank. What was going on? he thought. Then he sees little Cassidy at school being attacked. Then again, but at a different school, and again and again. He is there sitting down at her birthday. He is then outside as the house is on fire. He sees that her family is okay. It just kept showing him that. How is this possible. He can't do this. Or was this some kind of new power. Where you are into someone and you see their past?!! He came back to reality feeling dizzy. He looked at Cassidy and nodded "Yeah let me change my shirt. I'll right back." He said taking off his shirt right there. He then went into the Hera cabin and got a shirt. Saying the same thing "Good thing I bought two."
