Hello, name's Whisper!

Born into the main part of the Hyuuga Clan Rai was barred from playing with those of the Branch Clan for fear of them 'corrupting' him, though he found a way around this. He was a busy child, always finding ways to ruin his parent's day or ruin something in the Clan's complex. At an early age he had taken an interest in anything that had to do with engineering, like Legos and toys that let him build things. He always had a smile on his face when he was little, always laughing, it was obvious he was going to be a happy child, well, he already was. He seemed to get everything he wanted, which may be due to his wealth or the fact that his parents spoiled him, the only thing he didn't get was a friendship with one of the Branch children, the ones he always tried to play with. He was confused as to why this happened and as a result of his young age he formed a personality that was blunt, kind, thoughtful, happy and took time to trust all in one, an odd combination indeed, but he is an odd child. He was found to be extremely intelligent, as he was potty trained, knew how to use eating utensils, could follow the instructions for his Legos and various other things.

Around the time he was 8 years old he found out why he couldn't be friends with the Branch Children; they had this seal on them that could kill them. As a result he begged his parents to make it go away, getting a simple 'It's the way things are' in reply to his two-week begging fiasco. He was mentally distrought for the next week or so as he had made friends with one of the Branch Children, despite his parents wishes. Because of this the Branch Child was payed special attention by others, not wanting to upset Rai again; and not because he would complain to his parents about the way Branch Children were treated but because of his ridiculous week-long, seemingly unending, loud crying that woke up the Clan Complex in the middle of the night, all the time. Though he was usually picked on for being a cry baby this was the only way he knew how to react to things until he matured, this mixed with the fact that he had not yet developed his Byakugan worried his parents and the rest of the clan but with his Photographic Memory[which was not inherited, but due to a test it was found to be improving and directly linked with his Byakugan] they were curious as to if he would develop an "actual" Byagukan or some other type of Doujutsu, it was evident that his mind and body were always evolving and he held the perfect genetic template for evolving his doujutsu into something else.

As the approached the age of nine years old the rate at which he matured[psychologically and physically] increased and he hit puberty at an earlier age than he should have. Despite this he still stayed his same old cheerful self, though he stopped the crying. As of now he made a few more friends with in the clan, Branch Sector included, and some outside of the clan, namely a Kaosu visiting from Kumogakure. He eventually was found to excell in the academy, his Photographic Memory having developed to the point it was somewhere in between an Eidetic and Photographic memory. During this time due to his development he gained enhanced sight and could see things clearer than most and further, though not much it was obvious that he was developing his Byakugan, albeit slowly, even if it meant that he could not turn it off he would still have one.

By the time he turned nine years old he was socially flourishing, it was always found that he made friends fast[despite his lack of trust] when he was in a good mood. During this time he had slightly overcome his lack of trust for others, thought it would severe once again when he had too many friends[in his mind] and he overloaded from it. He had good grades in the academy, made best friends with a Uchiha and Kaosu[which provided more benefits for him] and his Branch friend was like a brother to him. He was actively playing outside and everything was good, great in fact; he always got the best reports from the doctors, was eating healthy[he always had] and even had his own schedule. His social, mental/psychological and educational development were par-on-par with his physical development, this meant that he was budding. He had already achieved top-tier literacy in several languages, surpassing everyone in his class by the time he was 11 and due to this it was decided he would graduate early. They thought it would be a good idea to have him graduate early with the Kaosu and Uchiha but it wasn't; due to this he closed up again because he had too many friends and at the same time he wanted to make more, altogether it 'overloaded' his emotions and confused him.

During this time he often found himself staring at men and women alike, though he always tended to look towards the men more. He found himself longing for an intimate relationship with another person, which was normal but due to his other issues it was far too much and he quickly shut down that longing. Despite all of this he still excelled in private studies, cleaned up nicely and often spent the night at his friends' houses. Because of this he was carefully watched, it was noted that it was slightly odd for him to be like this at this point and that he needed to get past this so that he wouldn't be so socially awkward as the aspects of his personality often collided and when they did they clashed. He was still developing physically and despite the fact that he stopped growing at 5 feet 4 inches tall[and he would stay this height until he had a 2 inch growth in his teenage years] it was evident that his Taijutsu had improved. He was distraught by the fact that his father died [he died during a mission regarding a missing-nin, his father's whole team was taken out even though the missing-nin died], during this time he was usually found looking for comfort in other people which he luckily found due to them being caring. He quickly found that he liked becoming more independent but at the same time loved the comfort he found with his mother, right now she was the only one[blood relative] he had and was the one that was most needed.

It was soon noticed by him that his best friends were going to leave Konohagakure for their respective villages[as they were only there as part of an attempt to train them well, as it was well known Konohagakure had some of the best Shinobi and Kunochi on the planet], this is the time he found out that one of them was an heir for a village; curious he wondered what kind of village it was to have this type of system and he found it was a village he never heard of, Kusagakure, while not widely recognized as an official Shinobi Village he was still amazed that his friend has gained control over it and slightly confused as to why  it worked the way it did. He soon found out [from his friend] that the reason Kusagakure has this system was because it was in the Outlands, asking what made it different it was found that in that area they had a system of Nobles; eventually asking what that was he found that his friend was a Lady, a rank of top-tier Nobles that was like the Lord of a group of land or over a group of people, this aspect of the village's arrangement he understood and after learning of ways to contact his friends he let them go, sadly retreating to his clan and other friends to find comfort in the physical loss of his friends even though he knew he was going to be able to talk to them.

By the time he hit thirteen years old his two friends had been long gone, though over the time the three best friends had together they had bonded so much that they still kept in contact. Through their constant and consistent contact with each other the three friends found out more about each other's lives and more about their pasts having even opened up about things that they couldn't have in person through their letters. Overall the contact with his mother and the comfort she brought him mixed with his contact and consistent with his two best friends and the Branch Child he had been friends with so long helped mend the emotional rift caused by the untimely death of his father and the fact that his friends have moved away in the first place. During this time he had developed even further mentally and physically by focusing his time on learning puppetry skills and creating schematics for them while stalling his development in Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. Despite the obvious fact that he was focusing on Puppet Mastery instead of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu his mother still cheered him on despite the fact that they wanted him to be ready for making use of his Byakugan, all she wanted for him was the capability to use all of the Clan's techniques with ease as it would make him deadly but she supposed that having an unlikely advantage yet still being an extremely capable Ninjutsu and Taijutsu user was good especially if you were able to use the advantage to its fullest effect. The rest of his years are lost to his mind and memories and seem to have a pattern, though it can be said that during this time he became an expert Puppet Master despite not learning the Jutsu and became better at various other things and that he also gained an interest in art, though he would never go into Fuuinjutsu he still found it interesting to make art.
