Ignacia

The Fire Golem

Ignacia had a fiery temper, and a terrible attitude. She was impatient and proud, but cunning and vicious at the same time: all of which were traits of a fire golem. Out of all golems, except perhaps the sky and shadow golems, the fire golems were the fastest and most lethal. That was because they weren't coated in thick, bulky armour, but a hard yet flexible natural armour. This reduced their weight by around a third of the average golem's weight, which was just a speculation of course - nobody had been able to weigh multiple golems to take the statistics. Most fire golems are able to shoot flames out of their hands, and melt objects around them due to the heatwaves they gave out.

They were however, prideful and varyingly egoistic. But that did not make them any less dangerous. Even with their weaknesses, they were still a formidable force to be reckoned with. The hope of defeating them lie in playing with their temper and pride. They did have a physical flaw though, which was water, evidently. Any that manages to flow into the cracks of a fire golem would immediately react with the lava and harden into sediment. If one fell into water, he would die unless he manages to get out and melt the hardened stone with its inner heat. Fire golems would never dream of fighting a hydro golem. Luckily for them, hydro golems did not usually travel up to the heart of a volcano, or to land actually, but would rather stay hundreds of feet below sea level and hibernate for years. The last hydro golem was actually spotted four hundred years ago by a half-mad daughter of Poseidon.

Like the hydro golems, the fire golems are also incredibly rare, preferring to reside near their source of creation, which would be a large-sized, active strato-volcano, in clans of five to eleven. Many, though, have encountered a full-sized fire golem in their travels throughout the thousands of years. Few manage to put up any form of resistance. A handful achieved victory with the help of luck and friends. None have escaped unscathed.

Fire golems had proven challenging to beat. Ignacia was no exception. With a strong, scarred body, she was around eighty years old, equivalent to a fifteen year old human. Different types of golems age differently. She was around 30 feet, but weighed around eight tonnes. There were gaps between her natural armour for free movement, but any sword attempting to poke their way in would be promptly met with a blast of iron-melting heat and set on fire. Bright, lunimous lava can be seen flowing through the cracks. It might, though, be to the campers advantage that Ignacia was not a full-grown fire golem, nor did she have the calm of the more experienced golems.

She couldn't wait to send the whole camp up in flames. Having slumbered in her home for the past eighteen months, Ignacia had emerged to a scrawny boy who called himself the Ambassador of Kronos. He had offered her a chance to get back at the gods and win her clan's honour back. It was because of the gods the fire golems were reduced by more than half their population and banished to their natural habitats. Her clan and two others were the only known pure-bred fire golem clans in existence. And what did they do? That reason in fact, could not even be recalled in living memory. The gods had promptly forgotten about the fire golems and left them there stranded. Slowly did the rest of civilization.

But the forgotten remembered. They always did. And they would wait. Wait for their revenge.

And then they acted.

Watching the dark portal, she charged in. As she exited into the campus, she set the portal ablaze with dark flames, not caring if she destroyed the entrance behind her. Ignacia stood to her full height, eyes blazing with cold malice and surveying the scene before her. Not wanting to let Wei and Ichos destroy everything before she did, she gave a roar and let off a wild blast of fire that ignited the whole cabin.

This camp will burn.

OOC: sorry if the history didn't make a whole lot of sense I'm about to die of serious brain exhaustion here from memorising three whole geography chapters
Note: If you guys want Ignacia to do/not do anything to your charrie etc, shoot me a pm.

Shirley's instincts were screaming.

Yesterday, it wasn't like this. Yesterday, she didn't feel as if she was going to be attacked. Her nerves weren't tingling, screaming 'danger!' She didn't feel as if there would be fight coming up soon. But today, it felt like it. Being a demigod, Shirley couldn't ignore it. Before she left Cabin 15, she made sure every battle gear her little body could muster off were in place. She only got a breastplate (very standard), and kneecaps. She felt better once she had her hand on her locket--a locket that could transform into a sword.

She didn't join her cabin for breakfast. Chiron would just have to wonder. But honestly, ever since she'd opened her eyes today, her instincts flared like a monster was behind her. She turned, but no one was there, not even a shadow. She was scared. The daughter of Hecate didn't leave the cabin until noon.

And when she did, Cabin 12 was on fire. Shirley stood frozen, staring at the blazing cabin, then switching on to the thing that probably set the cabin on fire. A gigantic golem, with lava flowing through its crevasses. It wasn't like the monsters Shirley ever met. She trembled with fear, but it was replaced with determination and anger.

She ripped her locket from her neck. It grew heavy in her hand, and in the following second, Shirley was holding a huge sword. She swung it with ease, and held it in pose before her. "Hey!" she yelled. "How did you get past the camp borders, huh? Go back to your stinky volcano, ugly!"

Shirley sincerely hoped that no one was inside the cabin. After she said the words, she muttered an incantation to summon water above the burning cabin. It dosed the fire, and Shirley managed a grim smile.

Caleb had been standing under a group of trees when the attack came. Just his usual standby every time the camp threw parties he supposed. Always lurking in the background, never really entering the actual scene himself. There too many people, too many idiots, and besides, he never really knew what was so fun about hopping and jumping around to every song's beat. Now there was a party being held in the Dionysus cabin, that much was obvious from the pop song that blared from the speakers. He could hear the annoying tune all the way from Cabin 2 and it was enough to send him out, trying to find somewhere the sound couldn't reach and where he could mind his business in peace.

But of course, there was a stupid attack that ruined it, and the cabin went up in flames.

Such was his shock that his book fell out of his hands, hastily replaced by a celestial bronze knife. It was electrically charged like his first one, though now it runs more on battery than any magical hocus pocus. It was a little disgruntling but hey, at least he had a weapon again.

Then past the smoke he could see the attacker - a thirty-foot high golem that glowed with what he supposed was real molten lava. Ignoring the stench that came with the burning, Caleb smoothly slipped out of his hiding place with as much coolness as he could muster with his heart hammering in his chest, sweat bands forming on his temple. Meanwhile he could spot a yelling girl who just swung her sword. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Attacking a fireball-throwing and burning tower of rock with something like a sword wasn't exactly high on his list of priorities. But then he had to remember that he was holding nothing but a silly electric knife. A knife that was now sailing through the air, aimed at the creature's knee joint.

Caleb didn't quite know what made him throw that knife so carelessly. It wouldn't do much damage, and he knew it. Perhaps it was just instinct. Perhaps he thought it was the best thing he could do.

But why did he get the feeling that when he threw that knife, it felt like he was throwing away his life?

ooc: summer, kill him in your next post. i don't want to draw this out. kill him quickly.

Logan had arrived to the party looking, well, dashing. Somewhat un-Logan-esque. As per usual, he had his thick blonde hair all gelled up into a fauxhawk, the purple streaks made all the more vibrant from his recent dying episode. He wore a white tuxedo and trousers, though the jacket had been tossed onto a miscellaneous stool, leaving him in a lilac colored waistcoat and white buttoned shirt with the sleeves delicately folded to his elbows. He wore a stunning, and very, very expensive silver omega wristwatch on his left arm, and seemed to quit being fancy by his feet, clad in an old pair of grey chucks. Shoes aside, though, Logan had gone pretty all out. Damn, he was fancy. Amazing the things you could afford when you turned to a life of slaughter and crime under a titan lord.

He ran a hand through his hair as he hung around, waiting in eager anticipation, poised against a wooden support beam towards the back of the room. His friends should be arriving soon, and then the party could really start. He'd put it together, after all, just for them. And how unfair would it be to Logan if they didn't shake things up a bit? Man, he was excited.

As if on cue, the music skipped for a second, and Logan glanced at the stereo briefly before there was a thunderous crack of the ground splitting, rocks jutting from the ground and wooden planks splitting under the stress. The earth seemed to shake at its core, and before anybody knew it the roof had been forcibly detached. Within less than a minute, the once sturdy, respectable throne of Dionysus had been forced to shambles, an inch away from collapsing entirely. Golems emerged from above, blocking out the moon with their gargantuan stone faces. Logan grinned, locking his legs in place and holding out his arms for balance as the camp shook. Once the boy was able to regain balance, he straightened himself, brushing some dirt off his shoulder and locating a pack of cigs in his pocket. He flipped it open, drew one out, and held it to the wall, which had been igniting by a fireball from one of the golems. Wow, things were heating up already.

His hair began to sink as it weighed down with sweat, and he took a long drag of his stoke, turning around and heading for the entrance of the cabin--which had now falling into a pile of rubble he'd have to step over. His tuxedo jacket could be seen sticking out from the wood and vine and ash, sleeve burning. He shrugged to himself. Another could be purchased at any time. Again, money in Kronos' army was pretty bountiful.

On his way to the door he twisted a little silver ring off his finger, the freed accessory instantly warping into a long, curved blade with a razor sharp edge. Logan's scimitar, affectionately known as Zyr. He walked tall, with pride, like an army's commander, extending his arm as a screaming demigod boy can running by, his blade carving through the tender flesh of the boy's neck and leaving him collapsed on the ground. Logan didn't even look. He made no facial expression, just kept moving forward, dropping his arm once more and moving over the wreckage into the night.

Outside, he turned, putting a hand on his hip and rolling his neck to crack it. The golems didn't think they'd be the only ones to squish the gods' butt kissers, right? "Hope I make you proud, dad." He murmured, the corner of his lip twisting up into a cruel smirk. Any demigod that chose to flee could taste his blade.

Ignacia

The Fire Golem

Ignacia swept a hand over the cabin, causing a wall of flames to shoot up, engulfing the side of the structure, as well as a whole line of trees behind it. She could feel the beckoning warmth of the fire. But suddenly, a girl yelled a taunt at the golem. Then, rain fell from the skies, dousing the flames on the cabin. The heat waves the golem emitted was more than enough to evaporate the rain that fell above her. But the cabin's flames sputtered out. Ignacia growled, breathing a stream of hot air at the drenched cabin, evaporating the moisture. Everywhere the mighty creature stepped, the ground dried, or caught fire.

As she was engaged with the artificial rain, something wedged between her knee joint, and she looked down. It was knife, its handle sticking out from the gap, the metal blade already melting. Ignacia roared, turning to see the scrawny figure that had thrown it. A mere camper. You are no match for me, midget.

She then held out her huge hand in a fist and shot an intense torrent of flames at the remaining cabin wall. It trembled and cracked, but finally succumbing to the heat and falling in hot, flaming pieces at the campers. Most of it fell right above the knife-throwing camper, who was the nearest to the wall, threatening to bury him. The rest were spewed all over the place, causing multiple patches of grass and vines to catch fire. Ignacia located the girl who had started the rain, blasting a jab of flames at the Hecate camper.

A new addition came to the battle, but she recognised him as the kid who had told her to come. Surveying the destruction, she felt the burning revenge overwhelm her again.

OOC: gosh this is late, forgive me.
