New Half-Blood

Subject: New Half-Blood Sat Jul 10, 2010 4:41 pm

I looked around nervously, wincing in pain from the gash on my shoulder. I had been attacked by hellhounds all day on my way to this camp. I glanced at my wounded shoulder with a sigh. 'Maybe someone here can help me..' I thought. Two days ago I had found a folded up piece of paper with an address on it. The address led me here, which didn't seem like much. My name is Aurora Cook, and what I didn't yet know was that I was the Daughter of Apollo. I trudged up the kill looking over at the single pine tree that sat at the top. "What is this place?" I asked myself quietly. I wasn't entirely sure what was wrong with me, most people thought I was a freak. However, I intended to find out exactly what this place was. With a sigh I continued forward, looking around to see it anyone was nearby.

I noticed a girl I had never seen before and figured she was new so I walked up and introduced myself, "Hi there."

I saw a girl who just walk in. "Hi!" I said, cheerie.

I jumped at the sound of a voice, turning around quickly. With a sigh of relief when I saw it wasn't some odd monster, I smiled. I brushed me curly blonde hair away from my dirt and soot covered face. "Hello," I said simply. I then glanced around. "What is this place?" I asked, resting my vibrant teal gaze on the girl that stood before me. My sunglasses I always had rested on the top of my head and my worn out, tattered, blue bag hung from my non injured shoulder. I shuffled my feet in anticipation of an answer, my curiosity obviously peaked by this odd camp. I then paused, seeing another approach. I offered another friendly smile, wincing a bit at the pain that throbbed through my shoulder.

"It's Camp Half-blood." I say. "What's the matter? Are you hurt?" I ask.

I look over at the girl, nodding my head. "Yeah, I got attacked by some weird dog," I said, referring to the hellhound. I didn't exactly know what the creature was, but I knew one thing. It wasn't a normal dog...

"That would be a hellhound." I said. "What's your name?"

My eyes widened a bit. I had heard of hellhounds before, but only in stories. I decided to save my large amount of questions for later. "My name is Aurora..Aurora Cook," I answered, glancing between the two.

I tilted my head a bit, narrowing my eyes. "So wait a minute...neither of you think I'm insane for seeing these weird monsters?" I asked, glancing between the two girls. I had tried to explain these things to my friends back in my home is Brooklyn, but they just said I was crazy.

I glanced between them. "Wait..Apollo? You mean as in the god Apollo?" I asked, my teal eyes widening a bit in shock. I had never actually known my father, at least my real father. I had a step dad, but he wasn't around much. I sighed. "Okay...so if I am an," I paused, trying to grasp al of this. "..an Apollo kid, how would I know?" I finished, a questioning look on my face.

"Nope. I've seen them before. And yeah you do" I said, making my dark magic swirl around her.

"Till he claims you" looking down the dark stuff it's very confronting. My spine seemed to start to heat in worry.

I wince slightly as a wave of pain from my shoulder runs though my body. I look over Arron curiously. "Do either of you know where I could possible get my shoulder fixed? Like a hospital or something?" I asked. Although...how exactly I'd explain a giant gash in my shoulder that was caused by a hellhound attack I wasn't entirely sure.

I raise my eyebrows a bit, looking over at Arron. "Can you heal?" I asked curiously. I had never actually met anyone who could literally heal a wound. Although, I was curious to see what exactly Arron would do to heal me.

I made more dark magic swirl around her, seeing if she would react.

I jumped at the dark magic, watching with wide eyes as it swirled around me. I had many question as to what exactly this was, but the only I was able to get out was "Uhh.."
