Hello from the Newbie

Howdy. My name is Starry, and I'm new around these parts so I hope you like my kind (slightly crunchy with a bit of a zang). You can call me Star, if you want. I can see why those other two letters would be a nuisance to type out. Personally, I groan every time I see a login screen.

Now, time for some facts! I've only been role playing for a year, but I am no stranger to creative writing. Before I discovered role play sites, I was more partial to writing short stories (because I'm sorry, half-baked plan for a novel, I just can't be committed to our relationship). I find Captchas impossible to read, and not because I am a robot, but because sometimes, they are genuinely impossible to read and I have to refresh a gazillion times before I can find something even halfway legible (this site's captcha was very easy to read though, phew, otherwise I never would have joined, and then where would you all be). Even though I do hate Captchas, my goal is to someday summon Inglip and then proceed to RULE THE WORLD and LAUGH EVILLY as I do it.

You've probably noticed already, but I enjoy using parentheses in order to voice side thoughts. Don't even ask me for an explanation for that because I will never use the word because. Except for those two times in the last sentence. And the three times in the paragraph above. All five times which you will forget now. Look! A wild unicorn!

I do think that this forum looks very interesting and like a ton of fun, and from the forum posts I have seen while lurking, the community has a very unique and vibrant personality. I have also been dazzled by the shiny names (look, I don't know what to call them, I'm just a newbie) in the signatures of the majority of people here, so if that was your method of ensnaring and bewitching me so I would become a mindless slave, WELL PLAYED.

We can definitely role play, probably not just yet because I'm going to my aunt's for a couple of days, but I would completely be willing to make a topic after I get back, if you want. :D

Oh, my signature, I just use smileys every chance that I get. I guess it's a sort of nooby thing that I doubt I'm going to grow out of. XD
