| What is this you might ask? It is a shop. A shop where Sniggle and I will be making characters to sell. Now we also be taking small requests, myself handling that part of this business. Sniggle will be making characters that anyone can buy. We will be charging drachmas by the amount of detail and time put into the character and also for the requests.  Name: Aaron Koenig Age/Birthday: 17 years old, December 9th Gender: Male God Parent: Apollo Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Emily Koenig, James Koenig Years in Camp: Almost 2 years Brief History: Aaron came from a middle class family living in downtown Cincinnati. He shared an apartment complex with his younger half brother James, affectionately known as JJ, and his mother Emily Koenig. Emily worked as a bank accountant, taking on a general 9 to 5 shift, and Aaron worked a job down the street as a convenience store clerk. It was a part time job that he juggled with school, and the nights were slow. On his 15th birthday, a letter came in the mail from a certain Mr. Ronald, a self-proclaimed satyr from a camp in New York that served the children of Greek gods and goddesses. Initially Aaron laughed off the letter, but his mother took it seriously. That night she discussed with him his lineage as a child of Apollo, the god of light, music, and healing. He was in a state of disbelief for several weeks, until he began to notice some of the similarities between his personality and that of his supposed "father." Plus, he had a natural talent with music and medicine. When he began to consider the possibility that he was a demigod, his mother presented to Aaron and ultimatum. He could either stay in Cincinnati with his friends and family, working and continuing with his studies, or he could take off for a summer and venture to Camp Half Blood and stay for a session, making a decision then whether he wanted to return or not. The thought of having to write equations and essays over the summer left a distaste in his mouth and he was more than happy to leave the life of a scholar behind. With the money from he'd collected from his job, Aaron went on a shopping spree and purchased the latest clothes and merchandise for his vacation to Camp Half Blood. While he was out, he also adopted a small Welsh Corgi puppy, as he had been told that in the letter than pets were indeed allowed to camp, and he'd never had one before(his apartment wouldn't allow for it.) The tan puppy's name was Bogi, and he and Aaron took the Saturday morning express train into New York, where they were met by a hired "chauffeur." The chauffeur, as it turned out, was none other than Mr. Ronald the satyr himself, whom Emily had written back to, and he was directed to take Aaron and Bogi to camp Half Blood. Aaron found that he didn't need all of his material possessions, and by the end of summer, most had been given away. A strong bond had grown between he and Bogi, as well as the people of the Apollo cabin he'd befriended throughout his months there. When August rolled around, he wrote a letter to his mother, explaining that he was incredibly happy at camp, and wished to stay for the rest of the year. His wish was granted, and he given permission to stay for as long as he desired. His mother promised that he could come home at any time of his own accord, so long as she heard from him at least once a month. Physical Appearance: Aaron has naturally tanned skin and dirty blonde hair. He has thick brown eyebrows that don't quite seem to match his hair, and bright hazel eyes that are tinted brown around the edges and become green as they move inward. Aaron's face is generally round--he's got a rounded, semi-flat nose, high, round cheekbones and a round chin. His lips are full and bright pink and color, with a small mole to the upper right side of them. He's got a larger frame, with a small amount of muscle definition in his arms, legs, and stomach from carrying boxes throughout the store at his job. His arms and legs are also generally harry--something that he refuses to shave off. Despite the hair where he doesn't want it, he can't manage to get anymore than one or two hairs on his face, which disappoints him. His shoulders are covered with freckles from being in the sun, but the only evidence anywhere else that he spent time outside would be the occasional "beauty mark" found on his body. Personality: Aaron is a laid-back guy who is, in general, content with the status of his life. He knows he's well off, but this knowledge can occasionally manifest in a sense of smugness and arrogance. The arrogance is something he doesn't notice--at heart he's a big softy--but the the outside world he can sometimes come off as having a holier-than-thou attitude. That and a shy, socially awkward guy. But those who get to know him see him as being a friendly, happy person. He's very empathetic towards others and can usually visualize the problem at hand or can relate to them somehow, and in debates he's particularly good at playing the devil's advocate and making sure both sides have a say. Sometimes, he's biased when he's passionate, but Aaron is pretty good at thinking outside the box and seeing the whole picture, then making an informed decision. He's only rash when it comes to shopping, a guilty pleasure and problem of his, and will practically toss money at something just because it's shiny or seems like it can amuse him for a little while. A lot of Apollo is evident in his son. Aaron, while not particularly social or good with people his own age, is wonderful with children and animals. He has a natural way to soothe them, though he's not sure why or how, and makes a surprisingly good babysitter and petsitter. It's one of the few jobs he isn't too lazy to do, plus, he actually enjoys it. He's good with children because they're creative and imaginative, like he is in his song and story writing, and loves to swap stories with kids. They tend to be his inspiration, and he loves them as much as they love him. In all honesty, he'd rather stay home babysitting the neighbor's kids then go to a massive party where he doesn't know any of the people his age. Fatal Flaw: Aaron has a very addictive personality and when he starts, it's hard to stop. Shopping is only a small part of the equation. If he begins to gamble or worse, and he likes it, he won't stop. Not even at the cost of his family or friends, his home, or even his life. And there isn't much he won't do to get what he wants. Depending on the prize, he might sacrifice others to get it, making him not particularly reliable or trustworthy. Evidently, once he gets it, he has no idea what to do with it, and tosses it away shortly after. He puts everything on the line just to get silly things that he doesn't even need. Pets: Bogi, a welsh corgi that follows Aaron everywhere Talents: He's got a natural talent for playing acoustic guitar and bass, acoustic being the favorite of the two. He's also knowledgeable in medicines and healing techniques. Both gifts are courtesy of his father. As an added supernatural bonus, Aaron can absorb more light in his eyes, making his vision in the dark better than that of most humans. The closest eyesight comparable is that of a cat's. Weapons: A celestial bronze bow adorned with red gemstones, and a white, over-the-shoulder bag of celestial bronze arrows with white feathers. When not in use the bow, arrows, and bag shrink down to a golden watch. The bow is the watches face, the bag is the leather strap, and the arrows are the watch's hands. He also keeps a small flip knife in his back pocket for emergencies.  Name: Vincent Belanov Age/Birthday: 18 years old, July 3rd Gender: Male God Parent: Hermes Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Ramona Belanov Years in Camp: 3 Brief History: Vinnie had always been labeled the "trouble-maker" at school. He got poor marks on his report cards, was constantly sent to the principal, and even transferred schools when he got expelled(twice.) His home life wasn't particularly great--his mother was an alcoholic who would disappear for days without so much as telling Vin where she was going, and so he mostly took care of himself--but he wasn't abused or anything of the like. His teachers would constantly worry for his well being, because he'd show up in the clothes he wore the day before, sleep through all the classes, and constantly had cuts and bruises on his arms and legs, but none of it was really his parents fault. The clothes were just because he was too lazy to change and nobody said he had too, the sleeping was because he hated school and was too jumpy to sit still and actually pay attention, and the cuts and bruises were because he'd go out skating with his friends every night. Despite his constant explanations, nobody believed him. Multiple times his mother, Ramona Belanov, faced lawsuits as social workers tried to take away child custody of Vinnie. They had lost each case until he was 13, when they finally, unfortunately, won. The case wasn't about custody of him, though. It was about his punishment. While his mom was on her usual trip to gods only knew where, Vin decided it would be a fun idea to try driving her car. The keys had been left on the kitchen counter, and from watching television shows Vin assumed he had some idea of what he was doing. Originally he just planned to drive around the neighborhood and bring it back, maybe stopping by a friend's house to brag, but he never got the chance. He put the keys into the ignition of the old white Honda Accord from the 90s, and twisted it, turning on the engine. After a few minor errors he managed to put the car in reverse and pull it out into the street, before turning it and shifting it into drive. From there, he started speeding down the street, completely unaware of the little boy from down the street playing outside. When a squirrel went running into the street, Vin swerved out of panic. He ended up going up onto the curb, into the grass and over an 11 year old boy who went to his school. The car went into the boy's house, and Vin was thrown from the vehicle. He went through a glass coffee table and cut himself up badly, but the boy was dead. After Vin's injuries were tended to and the concussion was beginning to disappear at the hospital, policed informed Vinnie of what he'd done. They said there would be severe consequences, however, they weren't as bad as Vinnie had originally thought. Somehow the court ruled that Vincent's joyride had been a result of stress and bad parenting, and that the accidental manslaughter wouldn't have happened otherwise. Ramona was charged for leaving her child unattended like she did and spent six months in jail, followed by six months of parenting classes. Vinnie went to a juvenile detention center for the year, where he constantly thought of what he'd done, how he'd killed an innocent boy--a classmate, no less. It changed him from being extremely reckless and oblivious of consequence to something of a cynic. Just short of his 15th birthday, Vincent got out of jail. He went home to Ramona and tried to begin a new life. While Vinnie gave up running about in the middle of the night, stealing and fighting, he didn't give up skateboarding. For a while, he was worried he'd crash into people and hurt them skateboarding, or he'd hurt himself, but eventually, after many falls and having to get back up, he grew to understand that accidents happen. He is still scarred both physically and mentally from the event, but skateboarding helped him remember who he was before, and helped him realize that he could still be that person because that person wasn't bad. Slowly his old habits came back--though he was still terrified of driving. Shortly after realizing this, Ramona had a sober talk with Vin(she quit drinking after Vinnie killed their neighbor and she went to jail.) She confessed that he wasn't an ordinary child, but he was a son of no other than the greek god of mischief, Hermes. Vin didn't want to believe it, but somewhere deep down, he thought it might be true. Ramona promised that he'd understand everything if he attended a special summer camp for children of the Greek deities. Vin, feeling like he didn't have much of a choice on the matter, agreed to go. He figured there wasn't really anything to lose, anyhow. It was actually a new start--a way to burn his bridges. He began to cherish an idea and by the time his bus was scheduled to arrive, he cherished the idea. The bus took him half away across the country, from his small home in Denver, Colorado, all the way to Long Island, New York. Using written directions on a piece of paper, he walked the last few miles to Camp Half Blood, and arrived with nothing more than the clothes on his back. Physical Appearance: Vin isn't lacking in body muscle at all. He has prominent arm and leg definition under fair skin. His limbs are long and lanky; Vin is somewhat tall, even for a guy, standing at 6'2." He's got an oval head covered in a mop of wavy, dark brown hair, which he tends to hide under a hat out of laziness. The hair curls around his ears and at the back of his neck, and he lacks hair anywhere else. Under the wisps of his bangs you can see small, almond shaped, honey brown eyes that gleam a shade close to amber under the right light. He's also got thick, naturally down-sloping eyebrows that, combined with his confident smirk, gives him a determined, confident look to replace a neutral face. He's got dimples, the right slightly more prominent than the left, and a Marilyn Monroe mole that can't be seen from too far away. As far as unusual markings go, he's got mature scars making small lines and criss-crosses all over his back, as well as the back of his neck, arms, legs, and even a small one on his butt. These were from being thrown into the coffee table as a kid. They're mature scars, shiny and pink, but smooth. He also has large scars on his knees and elbows, courtesy of his skateboarding past-time. The only other strange mark is a cafe au lait birthmark, which is light brown and roughly the shape of an oval, but with the occasional jagged edge. It's about an inch and a half wide, and located on his calf, a little un-centered to the left. Personality: For a while after the accident, Vinnie was extremely reserved. He felt guilty and depressed, and didn't really want to talk to anyone or spend time with people in general. Eventually, he returned to his own, charismatic, mischievous self--but he's danger conscious, now. His stunts are a little more controlled, because he doesn't want to hurt people. He'll still occasionally scrap for fun, but never with the intention to seriously injure, as well as steal small things and lounge around in no loitering stores. He still takes signs and slaps stickers on railings, but he's less eager to fight or put himself in a situation where he might endanger somebody else. And he has a major fear of driving. He can sit in a car, certainly. He had to just to get to Camp Half Blood. But he refuses to get behind the wheel again. For the mean time, Vin will stick to skateboarding everywhere. Vin is somewhat prideful in what he does. He's happy to say that he steals and that he won't take crap from people, and beams when people give him compliments. He'll given anyone any type of talk, whether about the birds and the bees or about how he thinks the earth was created. He absolutely despises talking about how he killed the boy, though. That's one topic that makes him squirm. But that aside, Vin is a happy-go-lucky guy. He takes things day by day and doesn't mind running in head first without a plan. Sometimes, that's his downfall. Other times, it works out great. Vin is likely to smile either way. He's friendly to most and will talk to anyone who starts a conversation with him. Being social comes natural to him. Charisma aside, Vin is also very curious. If he wants to know something, he finds out about it. He'll go a great length to solve a mystery, because the question will burden him until an answer is found. This leads him to questionable situations sometimes, and can often get him into trouble. Vin is the kind of guy that strolls down a dark alley way in the middle of the night by himself just to find out what something shining on the ground might be. Consequences or something he doesn't typically think about. Somehow, though, he still complains when bad things happen due to his lack of thinking. Fatal Flaw: Vincent is afraid of hurting people. Specifically, killing them. He hesitates to make the final blow, which could lead to his own demise when fighting with an enemy. Pets: None Talents: Being a son of Hermes leads Vinnie to do questionable things. He's excellent at lock-picking as well as pick-pocketing and even smuggling products out of stores, to some extent. Hermes' talents aside, Vin is an experienced skateboarder and isn't half bad on a dirt bike, either. He can't sing or play an instrument to save his life, but he does have a guilty pleasure for poetry and song writing. Weapons: A boomerang spanning four feet in length. It has razor sharp edges and does return when thrown properly. The boomerang is black in color, with celestial bronze edges that are silver in color. The weapon has been affectionately named Arsenio. While many would consider Arsenio to be a heavy, bulky weapon, Vin finds that the weapon isn't actually particularly hard to carry, throw, or run with. He suspect the ease of using the weapon is a gift from his father, Hermes, though there is no actual proof of this and he's never met his dad so he can't ask about it. Arsenio, because of the inconvenience of its shear size, can cut down and transform into to a black and gold striped lanyard around his neck. At the bottom of the lanyard, along with his house and car keys, is a small golden boomerang. It hangs like a keychain, but the boomerang is the embodiment of Arsenio. When Arsenio is out and in use, any keys that Vin keeps on the lanyard cannot be accessed. Year-Round or Summer: Year-round Other: Vin loves working out because it allows him to blow off steam in a way that's as close as you can get to violence without being violent. Isaac McLaine

 Name: Isaac Dylan McLaine Age/Birthday: 14, March 25th Gender: male God Parent: Ares Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Rosanne McLaine, Jackson McLaine Years in Camp: Less than 1 Brief History: Isaac was a football quarterback. But unlike other members of the football team, Isaac was the loner--and that was by choice. He wasn't a big fan of crowds and, when members won a game and all went out to celebrate with their girl friends, Isaac went home. His mother, Rosanne, wasn't home very often. Nor was his older step brother, an intense party-goer named Jackson. so Isaac had basic control of the house. He spent his time either working out in the basement or watching television and lounging around the couch. Occasionally he brought friends over to play video games, but he didn't really like them seeing how much of a wreck his house was. The family worked off of low income--most of which was spent on booze, so the house was usually atrocious, something Isaac felt self-conscious about. He could live in the mess, he just didn't want others to know about it. One day when he was digging for parts of an old elliptical machine they the family had, he came across an open box of letters, all addressed to him. They came from numerous people: his mother's ex-husband, the banks, other family, etc. One letter, in a light blue envelope, crossed his eye. It was addressed to him, and had already been torn open. But the letter was inside. He removed the letter, which was dated back to his tenth birthday, and read it. It was an invitation to some sort of camp for demigods. He didn't really know what it meant, but he didn't care. To him it meant getting out of his small town and finding a new life and adventure. He didn't have much of a relationship with his mom, and found his brother to be rather obnoxious, so he wasn't sad when he left. All of his things were packed in a single bag, except for the letter that he kept in his pocket, following directions to get to Camp Half Blood. Since he already lived in New York, it wasn't a big deal. He just had to take a cab from Manhattan to Long Island, where he was let out on the side of the ride. It was then he wandered into the woods to take a pee, and found the entrance by chance. Physical Appearance: Isaac has dark brown hair with long bangs that sweep across his forehead and stop just before his eyes. He's got pale white skin and a thick, strong frame. He weighs a little less than 150lbs, most of the weight coming from muscle, and stands at a heigh of 5'6". His eyes are a pale blue, and deep set, and he's got a round, child-like nose. Isaac doesn't generally smile, and has a habit of looking angry a lot, even if he isn't. Personality: Isaac is a very reserved boy who doesn't speak a lot to those he doesn't know or trust, unless it's to be sarcastic. To those he does care for, he's more likely to say something sweet or kind...though it's still not often that he does so. Most people see Isaac as being rock hard emotionally, but he actually can be self-conscious and sensitive. He doesn't think of himself as particularly attractive and he knows he's not the nicest person around. He has few friends and even the ones he does have he only considers to be acquaintances. Isaac tends to befriend gentle people more than any other kind of person, because they're more understanding and he feels he can trust them the most--not that he really reveals any secrets in the first place. Fatal Flaw: Isaac has major trust issues. There isn't really a reason why--he just doesn't like to tell people. It makes him mysterious and seem somewhat creepy, so making alliances is hard. And when he's prodded too much about sensitive subjects he tends to snap and go into a fiery, angry mood. If it persists, Isaac will not hesitate to get violent. This turns friends against him more often then not. Pets: none Talents: Isaac has a strong endurance and can take a hit well. Plus he can dish out punishment as well as he receives it. He's been in plenty of fights and knows how to defend himself. He's also surprisingly intelligent, though the most use he gets out of that is sarcastic, witty jokes. Isaac is also a decent football player and--although nobody knows it--is a gifted chef. Weapons: A double-edged black spear with a celestial bronze blade. There are silver stripes running diagonally up the spear and allow it to gleam under sun and moonlight.
