It had been weeks since Ace had heard from home. In all the time he'd been at camp (four years, seven months, three weeks, and five days; he'd be counting on the calendar hanging above his bed) he had never gone more than a week without getting a letter from his dad. He had made tons of friends at camp. The sassy girl from Athena, the spunky red head from Hermes cabin, and the cute from Aphrodite. He knew better than to fall for an Aphrodite kid, and he couldn't help but feel as if the guy had used charmspeaking on him, but he didn't care. Or he couldn't care. He pushed all of those thoughts out of his head and set his eyes on the sheet of loose leaf in front of him.
