Nothing to do... (OPEN)

Vanessa sighed contentedly as she relaxed on one of the orange couches in the Hecate cabin living room. She was playing with her magic. In this case she was vanishing her pinkie and making it re-appear again. She was a bit bored sadly. Vanessa couldn't figure out what to do. It didn't look like any of her siblings were around. Or maybe they were just invisible. Either way she couldn't see anyone. "Is anybody here?" Vanessa called.

Vanessa turned and grinned at Simon. "You have no idea." she complained. "I'm so bored I've resorted to vanishing my own pinkie." She sighed dramatically. "Do you have anything I can do?" she asked. "And you had better not say I should practice my magic." she added, fake threatening him. She was so sick of people saying 'well, you could always practice your magic'. She'd already done that and had had enough frankly.

Vanessa scowled at his first suggestion. Then she sighed as she listened to him keep talking to her. "Well, do you mind if I tag along?" she asked hopefully when he said he was heading out. At least she woul be walking, and that was something at least. She'd probably be talking to Simon as well. That would mean two things she could do. That would definitely be an improvement compared to now, when she hadn't been doing anything until Simon came.

"Yay!" Vanessa said. She climbed over the couch instead of walking around it. Soon she had reached Simon's side. She laughed at his question/comment. "You wish you had me as a girlfriend." she said teasingly. "And I guess around ten at least." she added. But Simon was right about them not looking alike. They were completely different in looks. Oh well, they had some similar traits in personality.

"It would be my pleasure." Vanessa said solemnly. She loved practical jokes. What was the use of having magic if you couldn't use it for fun? Of course this joke had nothing to do with magic but it would still be fun. Vanessa accepted Simon's hand and started towards the door. Then she turned back to him. "You do realise that you have to open the door for me now that we're dating, right?" she asked with a mischevious grin.

"Before we go anywhere I have to warn you." Vanessa began. "If you use any of those names on me while we're outside I will punch you in the face." She hated those stupid nicknames. They annoyed her so much. She would not put up with it, even for a fake date.

Vanessa raised her eyebrow at Simon's 'cupcake' remark. But she lowered it again when he said that would be the last one. She grinned when he put his arm around her shoulders. People could take that as they wished. "I don't mind." she said to answer his question.

"To a place with lots of people it is," Simon said after a moment or two. It seemed like the most practical choice. If they wanted to fool a lot of people then they should be going to crowded areas. But which particular place? Simon rubbed the back of his head. Deciding was such a chore.

"Let's just go walk and see where our feet take us?" he suggested. He was just too lazy to choose where to go.

"Sure. Why not?" Vanessa said. She opened the door and looked around the cabin courtyard. There seemed to be quite a few people here. "Why don't we just go here?" she asked.
