| Sadie • Mimi • KingSadie had no idea what the heck she was doing here. She did need a new weapon though. Sighing, Sadie found some random metal and tried to make a knife. Tried. By the time Sadie was finished, it looked like a piece if dog poo. Sadie groaned and started hammering it to make it flat.
Sweat started to bead on her forehead as she finally got the metal flat. Sadie grinned, her brown hair cascading down her back. She put the metal in the water, hoping to cool it down. Sadie accidentally got some hot water on her hand, burning it. Sadie screamed and dropped the whole thing in the water, ripping her hand back. Tears pricked her eyes as pain exploded in her hand.
"Bloody hell!" Sadie cried out, not knowing what to do. | |

| Saide was about to yell at the boy when she looked up and stopped. Well damn, he was cute. Sadie wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded at the boy.
"Yeah. Can I have some ice or something?" Sadie asked the boy, looking back down at her hand. Okay, it wasn't that bad. Sadie looked back up and smiled lightly. He seemed cuter than most boys in England though.

| "Uh, sure." he said, surprised that she hadn't yelled at him for what he had said. She found her kind of... pretty, but she probably had a boyfriend or something. He grabbed some ice from the mini-fridge in the corner. He examined the burn, then speaking up, "It's going to be fine, it'll heal up in a few days or so..." he said.

| Sadie nodded at the boy, putting the ice on her hand. Sadie winced when it made contact with her burn and bit her lip, drawing blood. She jumped up and down at the pain. It soon stopped and Sadie let out a breathe. Okay good. Sadie smiled and looked back up at the boy.
"I'm Sadie," Sadie told the boy, her green eyes turning gray.

Well, he had felt awkward talking to anyone after Lyra had gotten in that accident. But that was besides the point. He also realized that he had started to become anti-social. | Saide smiled at the boy. She shook his hand with her good hand than with her bad hand. Sadie's eyes turned a shade of blue as she looked down at her hand and stretched it a bit. She winced aloud. Okay, that would need some bandages or something for a while.
Sadie looked up and saw a first aid kit. Yay. Sadie went over and grabbed it from the shelf and walked back to Alex, starting to wrap her hand. She looked back up at him smiling lightly.
"Daughter of Zeus love. What about you?" Sadie asked Alex in her English accent, her head tilting to he side a bit. | |

| Sadie nodded and finished wrapping her hand. Running a hand through her brown hair, Sadie put the first aid kit back. She opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off as two boys walked in. They were huge guys too. Sadie suddenly remembered who they were. Oh crap.
Sadie yelped and hid behind Alex, grabbing his arm terrified. Sadie had well, played a few pranks and punched all of those boys. Now they were just looking for revenge. One of the boys saw Sadie and grabbed her by her shirt, slamming her against the wall. Sadie showed no fear as she spat in the guy's face. | |

| Alex felt that this was just unfair for the girl and that whatever she had done before to tick them off should be resolved in a nice conversation. So he elbowed the guy in the ribs, causing him to wince in pain and drop the girl. He winced in pain as the other guy kicked him in the stomach but ignored the pain.
He grabbed her wrist, breaking out into a run. He himself didn't like the Ares kids. They were all a bunch of big bullies that picked on whoever they liked, thinking that just because their dad was the god of war, they could bully anyone they liked, but that was just sick in Alex's opinion. | |

| Sadie broke into a run as Alex grabbed her hand. She kept up with his pace with little trouble since she ran everyday. Sadie could hear the Ares kids behind her and skidded to a stop, turning around. As one kid went to go punch her in the face, sparks flew and hit the guy, knocking off his feet. Another kid came close and Sadie clapped her hands, making lighting strike down where he was. He flew a couple of feet away, landing near other campers.
Sadie fell to her knees, breathing heavily. She never mastered her powers because she was lazy. Sadie looked up at Alex and smiled lighty at him, getting on her two feet. Dang, Alex was so cute.
"Sorry about that," Sadie said to Alex, blushing a bit. | |

Asking her out felt a bit weird to be honest. He had never really asked someone out without really knowing them. He was more of the party type. The kind that gets wasted and drives back to camp and wakes up with a horrible hangover every chance he gets. | |

| Sadie raised an eyebrow at Alex. She barely knew the boy, and wasn't sure yet. But then again, Sadie was just willing to take a risk. She could handle a broken heart with some time. Besisdes, Alex seemed like a nice boy with a wild side to him.

| Sadie nodded with a small smile. It had been a long time since she had went out on a date. The last time was before her mom died. After that, Sadie just had hung out all night and often did anything. Those were crazy times. Sadie gave Alex a quick kiss on the cheek before smiling lightly.
"Meet you there at five," Sadie said with a smile before walking away.

| Alex looked himself in the mirror one last time. He sighed and walked out of the cabin, making his way to Thalia's Tree. He leaned against the trunk of the tree, waiting for Sadie to show up. He was early, as usual, and hoped that she hadn't stood him up. It would be too awkward. He shook the thought off. He should be more enthusiastic and optimistic and stuff. | Sadie walked toward the pine tree, seeing Alex. Well, she hoped her outfit was alright. Sadie was wearing dark washed ripped jeans, a cropped shirt that showed a tiny bit of her midriff, and her black high tops. The only thing that had really changed about Sadie was that she had gotten a nose ring. It was a dare anyway. Not like Sadie could turn down dares anyway. She was wearing light makeup, only eyeliner and that was it. Her hair was down and loose, just like Sadie always liked it.
"Hey," Sadie said to Alex, giving him a light hug. She had no ides what they were doing. Sadie brushed her bangs out of her eyes and smiled at Alex. She had already decided that she wanted to fix Alex, make him better and find out about his past. | |

| Alex smiled and hugged her back lightly. He wanted to ask what she wanted to do or where they should go, but it would seem awkward. Or was that what you did on dates? He fought with himself, debating on whether or not to ask her where they should go. He finally came to a conclusion that it was better for him to ask where she wanted to go just to be polite and stuff. "So, erm, where would you like to go?" he asked, sounding like an idiot. Hey, he hadn't gone on a date for a long time, and first dates were always awkward, wern't they? At least, for most people.
He mentally facepalmed, he was acting so nervous and was worrying about every single detail when the only thing he needed to do was just relax and let the date work by itself. If it didn't go well, then it was obvious that this wasn't meant to be, but if it did... maybe the gods had wanted him to come out of his little shell. | |

| Sadie couldn't help but smile lightly. Alex seemed so nervous. It wasn't like Sadie wasn't going to kill him or anything. As long as he didn't get he mad. Really mad and she was on her period. Then Alex was dead. Sadie patted Alex's cheek laughing a bit.

| He felt a bit more comfortable as soon as she said that. It made him feel like he didn't have to be all perfect for her or anything. Unlike some other girls around camp. "Sure, that'd be nice." he said. Though he took few steps, to the exit of the camp. They had really cut everyone slack in the past few months. Almost every snuck out of camp and they didn't really care. Probably because everyone was preoccupied with war preparations that sneaking out wasn't a big deal anymore. Though he felt like she was an openminded type of person who didn't really care what he did or what he was wearing.
It made him feel more comfortable around her that she wasn't going to chop his head off or anything. He once had an Ares girl who chased him around camp with a battle axe because he had accidentally touched the sword she wanted to use for practice.
