| Ok, so I was typing these on the Cbox, and lots of people liked them, so I thought I'd make a topic for them! [BTW I'm not done with the 4th one yet!] Comment on which ones you like the best, and maybe I'll make you a poem if you send requests! [Look, I rhymed 8D] So, enjoy!Misunderstood By: Hannah _______
Out the window, I look up, While the cool, clear water fills my cup.
I imagine a place where there is sun, And I would be seen by everyone.
I am misunderstood, And I would be seen, if only I could.
There are so many people who pass me by, I attempt to be seen, but why even try?
I am left unseen, Though people know me, but only in my dreams.
I am a warrior, losing my fight, And a wingless bird, far from flight.
And as the sun rises, showing me a new day, Will I be seen, or sink into the bottemless bay?
I am misunderstood, And I would be seen, if only I could.
A Birds Life By: Hannah _______
The birds at night, and all through the day, They fly out, and sing their song of play.
So I sit under my apple tree, Hoping, wanting the birds to sing with me.
Do they hear me, singing just for them? As I watch my rose grow, and cut the stem.
To fly free, and feel the glare of the sun, I dream of the day where girl and bird will be one.
To feel the winds under my wings, To sing I melody, and feel the cold of winters stings.
Do they hear me, singing just for them? As I watch my rose grow, and cut the stem.
How I wait for the day my dreams find me, To look at the world, and see as a bird sees.
Do they hear me, singing just for them? As I watch my rose grow, and cut the stem.
Snow By: Hannah _______
It is everywhere, from the ground to the trees, While the frost and cold wait patiently for me.
What could I do, in this quiet frozen world? As this place of wonder for me unfurled.
It falls slowly down, all its own, As it's white brilliance is clearly shone.
Bright in day, and pale in night, And I watch the birds in the sky take flight.
People think me mad, twirling round and round, Then I lay and watch it fall without a sound.
It falls slowly, all it's own, As it's white brilliance clearly shone.
Who are we, to say when the snow falls? We wish it to come, but it answers only to the Heavens calls.
Is there a place, where the winds sing thick with fog? While I sit here and dream here on my winter log.
It falls slowly down, all it's own, As it's white brilliance clearly shown.
Water By: Hannah _______
Falling down, against the rocks, Or cool on my feet in the summer docks.
Whether it be crystal clear, or stained a murky brown, I take great courage, and jump, sinking deep, deep down.
I dream of fish in the sea, or weeds in the lake, Over and over every night, these dreams I remake.
The tide comes in, and the tide comes out, But while life begins, and life ends, that is what water is really about.
Deep in the depths, hunters and prey alike, Some live without care, and other take strike.
I dream of fish in the sea, or weeds in the lake, Over and over every night, these dreams I remake.
[That's all I have so far of THAT one now :P] | |
