Sitting at the Beach (Pinkgirl)

Subject: Sitting at the Beach (Pinkgirl) Thu Feb 09, 2012 1:55 am

Kate smiled happily as she wandered up and down the beach. She had found a rare moment of solitude. Still, as she walked on alone Kate found herself wanting company. After spending so much time alone before coming to camp Kate had welcomed all the company she always had. Whether it was in her cabin or at sword fighting Kate was never alone. Now she missed everyone. Kate sat down with a small sigh. Maybe someone would magically appear and she wouldn't be alone.

I decided to come to the beach to go for a swim. I took off my shirt and ran to the water. That's when I heard someone sighed. I looked up and saw a girl alone. "Would you like to come for a swim?" I asked.

Kate blinked. She gazed down at the boy. He was pretty cute. And she did have her swimmers on. "Ummm. Sure." she said. Kate pulled off her top and revealing a bikini. She was already wearing her short board shorts. Kate skipped down to the water and stepped in. She was ankle deep in water when she glanced back to the boy. "You coming?" she asked.

I ran to the water. "Can you swim?" I said. I started swimming really far. I really enjoyed swimming. While I was waiting for her answer I let the waves push me back and fourth.

Kate frowned indignantly. "Of course I can swim." she replied. Her father may have liked Rose more, but he still made sure Kate could swim. She ran deeper into the water and dove under. She came up and swept her hair out of her face. Kate dove under again and opened her eyes. There wasn't much to see except sand. She surfaced and swam to where the boy was. "So what's your name?" she asked conversationally.

"My name is Connor. What's your name?" I said. I thought the girl was beautiful. Her blonde hair was the most beautiful part to look at.

"My name's Kate." she said. "I'm a daughter of Khione." Kate added. "Who's your Godly parent?" After she finished speaking Kate examined Connor. He was pretty hot. But who was his parent. Somehow he didn't look like an Aphrodite kid. Hopefully he wasn't her sibling. That would suck.

"I'm 15." Kate said. Connor didn't look two years older than her. Honestly he didn't. Maybe one at the most. Oh well, the world's full of surprises. Kate flopped onto her back and floated happily. She wa thinking of something to say that would continue this conversation. She liked talking to Connor; it was nice.

"Do you like the camp?" I said. "I have a good question. If you could change one thing about the camp what would you change?" I asked. I enjoyed talking to Kate.

"I pretty much like everything I've seen at camp. Kate said truthfully. She loved camp. It definitely felt more like her home then Late's house had ever felt. "I don't think I'd change anything about camp. It's great like it is. What would you change?"

"I wish the camp was bigger. It's so small. It doesn't have a lot of fun things to it." I said. I was glad I met Kate.

"I guess it is a bit small." Kate admitted. She glanced flirtasciously at Connor before ducking under the water. She swam around for a few seconds before coming back to the surface again. Kate smiled vaguely at Connor. For some reason she was very happy today.

I went under the water and saw a lot of fish. Lots of different fish like fish that exsisted and fish hat I didn't even know exsisted. I just love the lake! "Kate would you like to go on a date with me?" I said.

Kate blinked in surprise. Actually she also sucked in water and started choking on it. A date!? "I'd love to." she said as soon as she had recovered from her coughing fit. This camp was just getting better and better. Kate moved closer to Connor and smiled softly at him.

This was the first girl I asked out and she said yes! I thought this was the best day ever. "Why not for our date we go to the lake and have a picnic?" I said. I stepped closer to Kate. I leaned forward and made our lips touch. We kissed!!!!

Kate's eyes widened as Connor leant in and kissed her. Her first kiss, how romantic! She smiled slightly under the kiss. His lips were soft and sweet. Luckily they weren't chapped. That would've ruined the moment a bit. Eventually they pulled away. "Um sure." she said in response to his question. "I don't really mind."

Her lips were soft and smooth. I pulled away and heard her answer. I smiled. "Okay. Tomorrow at the lake for a picnic. I'll meet you there at 12:00. Bye." I said. I ran back to cabin 6.

Kate blinked at Connor'd rather abrupt leaving. Oh well. Kate shrugged her shoulders gently and grabbed her shirt. She pulled it over her head and gazed at the beach one last time before turning around. She headed to her cabin to see what clothes she had that she could wear on a date.
