Adrian was with Amber, dropping ehr off at the Airport. He looked at her, "I'll visit anytime I can babes." he said quietly. They were going towards her private plane landing. "I promise that I'll Skype you, call you, anything to talk to you every night." he sighed, "Dammit, this is going to be hard Ambs." he sighed, kissing her forehead. "Make sure everyone knows that you're married." he joked. He pulled her into a hug, his head resting on hers for a second before letting go. he kissed her lips lightly. "And mine." he smiled, kissing her forehead again. "I'm going to miss you Ambs..."

“I’ll miss you too Adrian.” I said, smiling. “I promise we’ll talk every day kay? Don’t worry. I’ll see you again in December. I promise. The 21 of December, I’m going to be seeing you in person, right here.” I said squeezing the air outta him. I’m finally going off to college. “Oh, and I expect art when I get back. Art.” I said seriously with a hint of a joke-like tone.

Adrian nodded, hugging her until she absolutely had to go. "Call me when you get there babes." he gave her a sad smile. "I promise when you get back I'll have art, lots of art." he gave her a smile. Amber was leaving him for a long time, the one thing he knew he would paint until she came back. Amber was his world, he loved her.

I smiled and hugged him one last time, then petted my- I mean our- pet dog, Kara, a boston terrier. I scratched behind her ears gently and she nuzzled my hand affectionately, as if she knew that I wasn't going to be seeing her in a while. "Stay safe." I told him quietly. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of myself." I said with a small, assuring, yet sad smile. Grabbing my suitcase and taking a few steps before turning back. "I'll miss you tonnes." I said, giving him a look that said 'I love you too. Don't forget me!', then turing away to board the plane.

Adrian couldn't get the sadness out of his eyes. Right before she went on ht plane, he shook his head, "Ambs!" he called out, he ran towards her. Picking her up and kissing her one last time before December. As always it was packed with emotion, but one in particular, leaving, a sadness. He didn't want her to go, but he wasn't going to keep her away from college. Never would he. Once he let go, he gave her a sad smile before kissing her forehead lightly. "Bye Ambs..." he said sadly.

I kissed him back and as he pulled away, I hugged him again. I smiled at Kara who was sitting there, as if she enjoyed watching this. I felt tears well up in my eyes, but I stopped them before they came, "Don't say bye... till next time. That sounds much better." I said smiling sadly. "Now I have a plane to catch." I wispered, studying his eyes. He seemed so hurt, but I knew I had to do this. A month or two wasn't that bad. At least I would be calling him every night, at least I was able to hear his voice.

Adrian smiled at her sadly, "Till next time Ambs. I'll call you every night." he sighed, taking Kara and letting Amber board the plane. At least he would be able to talk to her every day, hear her voice. At least. His wife was leaving for college, and it was breaking his heart slightly. He couldn't be without Amber. Not ever for a few months. He sighed, rubbing his neck. Maybe he could surprise her early and come a week or so before she was coming back.

Looking back, trying to give him a smile but failing miserably. Instead, I looked miserable and wouldn't bear to look at him like that. Walking onto the plane, where I was greeted by the same pilot as usual. "Good afternoon Amber, finally going off to college?" he asked cheerfully, hugging me. "Yeah, I remember the first time I was here, I was 6." I commented. Walking over to the seat in front of the large flat screen tv and taking a sip of soda, thinking about Adrian.

~I thought the Play-by suited well for this situation.~

One month Time Skip:
Adrian sighed, he still had to wait one more month until he could see Amber again. But, it was time for him to call her, with Kara on his lap he got out his computer and called her vis skype. Waiting for her to answer he smiled, they had been skyping for the past week, Adrian just figuring out how to use it. He had just gotten a hair cut and a new tattoo that day. He wanted something to do, so he got his favorite hero symbol tattooed on his arm...Batman. When she answered he smiled, "Hi Ambs."

"Hi Adrian" I said looking up from my homework. Exams are coming up soon and I needed to study, but I would take time to talk with Adrian anytime. I was in the neatest corner of my room, lying the my bed, the laptop right in ront of me. I saw that he got another tatoo and got hi hair cut. I smiled and looked over, "Whats the tatoo of this time?" I asked curiously. I admit, I wasn't a big fan of tatoos, but I didn't really mind them on him. I soptted Kara eagerly jumping in his lap and waved, "Hi Kara." I said gently, smiling.

Adrian smiled sheepishly, "Batman's logo..." he smiled. He saw her homework, "Don't you have exams coming up, babes?" he asked, looking at the homework, "I can call you later if you want." he honestly didn't want to, but she needed to study, and rest. An idea came into his head.

"Hold on! Wait, wait, wait wait!" he was out of the video, but he was in the room that they had made for his studio anyways, he was looking for a painting that he had done to show Amber.

"Hold on Ambs!" he called out, finally finding the picture out of all of his finished paintings. "Here, I painted this." he smiled, a happy glint in his eye, "Someone wants to buy it." he said proudly, mixed with excitement.

It was a picture of the statue of liberty, but with a bunch of teenagers there, it was cartooned slightly, it showed all the cliques, mixed together. "What do you think?" he asked nervously, looking at her.

"It's not my best of anything...but it's a start..." he rubbed his neck nervously, giving her a smile, AMber's critique was the only one that mattered to him.

“No, it’s fine. I needed a break anyways.” Amber said with a small smile. She looked at the drawing in amazement; it was detailed and such. “That’s awesome Adrian!” She said happily. She liked how he put the cliques in groups, it reminded her of Camp Half Blood, the overdressed ones were the Aphrodite kids, the bit burly ones were the Ares kids, the nerdy kids were the Athena kids, and the mischievous kids looked like the Hermes kids.

She smiled at him. “That’s seriously amazing.” She said in awe. Her eyes literally said ‘I’m so proud of you! I knew you could do it!’ Someone wanted to buy it! I mean, it’s not like she thought it was bad or anything, she thought it was truly wonderful, but she had heard of many wonderful artist’s work go to waste because nobody bought it… She was really, really happy for him. She couldn’t wait to see all of his work!

Adrian smiled, "You really like it?" he asked, he was always so insecure about his artwork, especially when he was showing Amber. He bit the back of his snakebites. "I have so many more Ambs. You need to come back sooner." He smiled sadly. He was semi-faking, he was going to come a week earlier than she was coming back, just so he could see her sooner. And maybe see the school. He also needed to travel there to deliver the painting.

”I may come and visit a day or two. We have a two day break next week; I could fly over to New York. It’s going to be after the exams.” I tell him. It hurt me that he was feeling alone a few hundred miles away. It was my fault, I didn’t mean for him to feel bad though. I wanted to see him soon too, I missed waking up in his arms every morning and falling asleep in them at night. But everything was going to pay off someday.

Adrian smiled, "I could come down there, I have to deliver this down there anyway." he bit his lip. In the background of the noise in her dorm, he could hear a few people, "Meet people..er... friends that you made..." he smiled, "That sounded nerdy..." he joked, giving her a happy grin for her sake. he couldn't bear making her sad. Sure, he was lonely, he had Kara though, and the studio to keep him busy, truthfully, he had sold quite a bit of artwork, reminisce of New York City. The most visited places, the overlooked alleys, he had painted almost every inch of it. He smiled, he wouldn't tell Amber yet however, he would show her when she got back.

"The guys who live next door are complete douches." she paused. "They party all night, hit on every single girl they can, and I hear moaning and groaning every weekend." I told him rolling my eyes. She had a roommate, Carly, but Carly never really showed up. Most of the time, she was studying in the library when Amber was in the room.[/center">

Adrian looked at her, "Did they hit on you?" he asked curiously, he raised an eyebrow, "OMG Girl, like.. deats." he joked, a grin coming on his face. It was getting somewhat late, he would need to let Amber go soon, he would end the call on a happy note.

"Yeah he totally hit on me. I totally slapped him in the face. I think he thinks that I'm trying to play hard to get or something. I told him I was married and stuff but he didn't believe me..." I said trailing off. The idiot totally annoyed me. But then again, I had Adrian. He was going to be all mine in a month. Just one month. Maybe less.

Adrian smirked, "Yes, yes you are, married to an artist... that has a lot of surprises for you when you get home." he smiled. "Remind me to punch the dbag, kay babes?" he added happily. He smiled, looking at the time he sighed, "I should probably let you go soon..." he trailed, looking at her.

"Will do. I'll miss you tons. Can't wait to see you again." I told him. I was about to cut the connection when a groan erupted from the other side of the wall. I buried my face into my work. You start to wonder if he even studies. It’s impossible for anyone to be having so much ‘free time’ to go and make out, or get laid with some random girl all the time.

Adrian heard a groan from the other room and smirked, "Bye babe." he smiled, cutting off the connection. He looked around his art Studio, one picture, the one he had spent the most time on, was of Amber and Adrian on the night that they had met, when he was socially awkward and couldn't talk to anyone. He smiled at the memory. He would be coming earlier than she would leave. He wanted to surprise her.

Amber sighed and flopped back onto her bed. She wished that she couldv'e talked more with Adrian. She missed him like hell and couldn't wait to see him again. She wondered what ther drawings he had made. She couldn't wait to see them. She was finished with her homework, and she was tired, so she just laid there and fell into a peacful sleep.

Adrian couldn't fall asleep that night, trying to figure out ways for him to visit Amber. He had to see her soon, or else he thought that he would explode. He sighed, putting his face in his pillow. Groaning, her made himself not call Amber, instead he texted her.

'Hi.. can you sleep?' he texted, looking at the screen before laying it on his chest, his hands behind his neck. He sighed, petting Kara lightly as he waited for a response.

Amber felt her phone vibrate. She wasn't sleeping well that night, and wondered who would be texting her at this hour. She read the text, it was from Adrian. She smiled, it seemed as if he knew when she wasn't able to sleep or not. Amber sighed happily. 'No, I can't. I'm assuming that you can't either?' she texted back quickly.

Adrian smiled when she replied. 'Nope. I want you to come back sooner.' he sighed, hitting send. It was as if they were inside the same mind, both couldn't sleep, but this is what they did if they couldn't sleep, text each other, usually the other couldn't either. He smiled.

TIMESKIP TO THE NEXT MONTH:
Adrian was waiting for Amber outside of her dorm. He knocked on the door smiling. She didn't know that he was coming early for her, he was supposed to be there the next week. He texted her quickly, 'I'm in the studio, what should I paint for you when you get home?'
