Letting loose

I walked on the basketball court in shorts ready to practice. There a few games going on but none with anybody ILL call a freind. I grabbed an empty hoop amd started shooting. I started drom mid-court dribbling and then dunked. For a girl that was 5"2" I could jump pretty damn high. I kept on practicing my three-pointers and my lay-ups. Pretty soon I was sweating but it was super fun Ill always liked basketball ansd just about any other sport. On my free time Ill always play and game that fasniated me for that day.

I walked into the basketball court being extremly nervous.The idea of throwing heavy balls in the air didnt raelly appeal to me.I spotted my bff emily and said"EMILY!!HI!!".

"Sure."I said.I didnt mind more people playing with us.Though I wonder how Emily may react.Shes kind of......picky.

"Dont worry about it after all Basketballsupposed to be fun"Isaid feeling like we have all the time in the world but the I really did not know what time it was but who cares I still have tommorow.

I grabbed another basketball and managed to get a three point shot."Hey Em our practice was actually worth something."I said.The first time around I had somehow managed to get the ball sixty feet behind me.It had been a total fail and Emily just wouldnt let me live it down.

"Sure no problem just call me if you want to shoot some hoops,see you around"I said in the most freindly voice I could use, I liked being making new freinds.

I waved good bye.Once she was gone I turned to Emily."One on One.Right here right now.Winner gets to ask anything about the other person and they have to respond truthfully.Got it?"I asked her dribling the ball with one hand the other on my hip.I changed my eyes to a bright red just for effect.

"O.K. just be prepared to tell me were James Valentine really is"I said in a cocky voice I knew I was going to win and I think she know it to, I was way more atlhetic than her.

I scowled playfully."Whos the ninja here?"I said teasingly.I passed the ball to her."You can start."I said.

'Great just gone make the game easier"I said with a smirk on my face while I catched the ball.

I rolled my eyes."Uh huh.Says the girl who lost 6 to 26 on her last game."I said teasingly.I positioned myself waiting for her to start.

"Fine be that way"I said in a cocky voice and quicklyed juked her.
"You see this is going to be easy".I said while making an easy lay-up.

I ran infront of her and stole the ball back."Imma ninja.FEAR ME."I siad using an evil tone.I shot the basket into the hoop."So whats the score Missy?"I asked her.

"2 to 2 and get prepared to lose" I said as I shot a three pointer.
"Make that 5 to 2".

I stole the ball from her as quickly as she had stole it from me.I just shot it,nothing real fancy."3 to 5.And why do you want to know about James?"I asked her dribling the ball and shooting again.

"Just you know I said I hadnt seen him in a while, and I just figured you would know." I said while grabbing the rebound and doing a layup and making the score 7 to 4.

I snatched the ball from her and shot it again but missed.I sighed and grabbed the ball in rebound."I havent seen him in a while either."I said distractedly.

"Yah we could have he had gone, there is only so many places he can go" I said while shooting a three-pointer and hearing a swish.

I shrugged."Probably has alot of stuff to do anyways."I said sighing.I stole the ball from Emily without even thinking about it,shot,and missed.Wow.I was really out of it.

"Wow I thought this game was going to be a little harder"I said as I shot a two-pointer.'Hah, 9 to 4".

I snatched the basket ball from her and shot a three pointer actually making it in this time."You were saying?"I said catching the rebound and smirking.
