Subject: Dare to believe (PRIVATE) Fri Jan 13, 2012 4:29 pm

Cole Dafydd Llewellyn

Cole stopped at the waters edge, the cold winter breeze freezing him as he was only dressed in his swimming trunks. If he wanted to, he could have gone in the water in his clothes and not got wet but, for him, it sorta ruined the mood. With one last look around at the lakeside, he waded in, immediatly coming in control of the water. He willed the waves to take him to the deep part, diving under and creating a water bubble for himself. He stayed like that for a moment before swimming back up til the water was around his waist. His long dark hair stuck to his face so he flicked it off, spraying water droplets everywhere and turning his hair into a mess. He saw the shadow of someone walking down the lake to him slowly. He turned, looking at the setting sun as he waited for the person to approuch, bored.

It was another year for her, at camp Half-Blood. She was used to it by now, you tend to get used to things after living with others within a three year time period. Although, she missed Roma, Italia so much. The rest of the Fenrir family was all she really had, truthfully. Charles had married Lily, and she had Emmett, though he really wasn't that much of a blood relation. But here in Long Island, she would have to learn the Greek ways before returning to her Roman culture.

Victoria was walking down towards the lake, playing with her long white hair. Something that she obtained from Demeter, her wonderful mother. Gray eyes looked out towards the lake, noticing that someone was out there at the moment. She really couldn't tell who it was, recently awakening from a sort nap not a long time ago. Regardless of this fact, Victoria continued to walk down towards the lake. No one was going to stop her from at least relaxing.

Cole closed his eyes, dreaming of being back home in Wales, Britain. He hated America. He always thought that they were trying to be one up from the UK, even though they weren't. He breathed out slowly, turning his torso around to face the person who had disturbed him from peace. He saw it was a girl but she was too far away at the moment for him to make out details. He muttered something in Welsh under his breath before deciding to try and be social, for one time in his life. His dog, Zeus, wasn't far away. Some where in the woods, probably with the Nymphs. He was adored by them. "It's nice here, isn't it?" He called to the girl, hoping she would be able to undertsand what he was saying due to his thick Welsh accent.

A voice spoke out towards her. If was the person in the water most likely. She could easily tell that this person had a very thick accent. What type though, she wasn't sure of. Valor would be rushing into this water if he could, but Victoria made sure he would allow her to have breathing room at the moment. She spoke loud, but it was actually not that loud. "Sì, certo." Her Italian accent spoke ahead of itself, not coming out in English, but Italian. Victoria had to clear her throat before correcting herself. "Ah, Yes, it is." She now replied in pure English. A roman, Italian accent was clinging to her words.

By the time the white haired demigod made it to the water, or at least close to the shore. She noticed it was a male she called out towards. Having semi, messy hair that appeared to be brown at the moment. Victoria hugged herself, not from cold but a natural thing. Her Anti-Social-ness caused this. She was wearing a short grey top with the sleeves wrapping around her shoulders with the sleeves ending perhaps only two - three inches then. Victoria was wearing also jeans that were slightly ripped with black boots.

Cole frowned at her accent, reminding him of a character from a video game he played. He shrugged it off, studying the white haired girl. She must be, what?, a year, maybe two years older than him. There didn't look that much in it. For all he knew, they could've been the same age. Maybe she looked older than she was, just like him. Cole rested his palms on the surface of the water, forcing the waves to stop moving, even slightly. He looked down at his hands, feeling slightly embarressed that he was only half dressed. He looked up at the girl again, realizing what video game she reminded him off. "You're Italian?" He asked her with a frown.

"Sì. I moved from Roma, Italia to here." Victoria said, she felt proud from where hails from. But yet, she also felt disgusted that she had to move to America. She wondered why that there was no Half-blood camp somewhere in Greece. She wouldn't mind moving to Greece, due to Italy being right there. But no, Camp Half-Blood had to be in the United States.

Victoria bend down, sitting on her heels, and started to balance herself. "You aren't from Stati Uniti. Oh, um, United States.. ?" Victoria stuttered, speaking Italian once again. A pink blush of embarrassment crossed her cheeks a bit, causing her to look down at her feet.

Cole laughed, running a hand through his wet hair. He liked her accent. "Kinda cute." He said out loud accidently, not being able to help himself due to his extreme ADHD. He cleared his throat, blushing slightly as he looked back at the water. "Me? From the United States?" He laughed disgustedly. "Hell, no." He chose not to take offence over that. "Im from Wales, in the UK. You know?" He raised an eyebrow, his brown eyes looking at hers.

This male found her accent, and slipping into Italian, cute? Strange male, some tend to get annoyed with her because of this. Although, Victoria smiled at this, but blushed a bit at the same time. The white haired demigoddess could hear the disgust in his voice. Ah, at least someone understood a little bit with the fact that she didn't like coming to America either. " Wales.. is an Island?" She fought with her memory, trying to figure out her history once again. She should be in Roma, learning. Instead she's here, learning Greek Battle style.

Cole laughed softly to himself, feeling cold from just standing halfway in the water and not swimming. He walked out of the water over to the girl and sitting down next to her. Normally he would try and avoid social confrontation but, despite himself, he found this girl intresting. He was very curios. "Wales. You know England?" He used his hands to draw Great Britain in the air to help himself explain. "Well, Wales is the small country to the...left of that. The best country." He grinned.

"O - Oh, yes! England.." Her dull grey eyes watched him trace what Great Britain would look like in the air. She remembers now, having to go from Roma, to England in order to then reach the United States. Personally because she wanted to stay away from Spain. Always.. always warm. Sometimes a little too warm.

She chuckled, smiling. "Wales.. better then Britain. Roma better then Greece." It may seem like an insult, due to their parents being the Greek gods. But she grew up in Rome, and thus felt as if it was better then Greece. Due to the long rivalry between the two countries.

Cole laughed with her, agreeing with the first part. He had never been to Italy so he wouldn't know about the second part. He heard a bark nit far away in the woods that could only be Zeus'. Cole smiled, glad that his dog wasn't too far away. He looked back at the girl. "Cole Llewellyn ydw i." He introduced, only realizing a minute later that he had spoken Welsh. He hated it when that happened. He tried again. "I'm Cole Llewellyn. You are?" He held out his hand to her.

She too, heard the bark. She knew that pitch didn't belong to Valor, meaning he was probably somewhere near the cabin areas. "I am.. Victoria Fenrir." Victoria smiled as well, and chuckled softly at the fact that he now slipped into his native tongue. No matter how far you are from your home, you've still got the language to make sure you remember where you belong, and where you come from. "The bark.. belongs to your dog?" Victoria tilted her head to the side.

Cole nodded, running a his hair. He instantly chose for it to dry and it did, along with his swim trunks. He turned in the direction the bark had come from, cupoing his hands in front of his mouth and shouting "Zeus!" The next thing he knew, his golden retriver puppy bounded out if the wokds, leaping on Cole and licking him. Cole laughed, trying to push his face away.

Victoria giggled and smiled as she watched the puppy come running out of the green area around the lake. Running and licking his master's face, it made her remember how Valor would sometimes greet her. She remembered he did this when they landed in America. She found out that Valor did not like flying in a cage for a long period of time."He's cute. He reminds me of Valor." Valor was a grown up "Man" now as she's come to understand.

Cole laughed, rubbing Zeus' stomach. He had named Zeus this on purpose to show how he felt about the God. A dog. As soon as Victoria had spoken, Zeus turned and leapt on her, licking her face. "Yes, he is. Who is Valour? Your dog?" He asked her with a curious frown.

The white haired female let out a squeak, as the puppy began to lick at her face. She was grinning and laughing softly as the pup was doing this. Zeus sure was an attention seeker. Then, after getting the puppy slightly calmed down so she could talk, she spoke. "Valor is my dog, Siberian Husky. I believe he's by the cabins, he loves to play with other Campers." Victoria spoke in a soft tone, glancing towards where the cabins were.

Cole nodded again, following her gaze towards the direction of the cabins. He liked Huskys. They were adorable. "Yeah, this little idiot is loved by the campers too." He laughed, picking up a piece of broken branch next to him into the distance where Zeus ran after it wildly. He looked back at Victoria. "You must be a daughter of Aphrodite, right?" He asked, his brown eyes meeting hers.

Grey eyes looked at the male that was sitting next to her. She acted as if this camper had grown three more heads before she shook her head. "No, I'm not a fan of .. Pink, Victoria murmured, giving a slight shiver at the thought of living in that Cabin. I'm the daughter of Demeter." Victoria smiled now, and remembered how the water had just came off of him before. "Son of Poseidon?" She raised a brow, curious if she was correct.

"Yup." Cole said, popping his lips on the p. Huh...he would have thought the girl would have been an Aphrodite...but the cabin was very pink. He felt sorry for all the guys living there, including his close mate who was a son of Aphrodite. "Son of swimming pools and chlorine." He joked, scratching his chin nervously yet not knowing why.

"I'm sure being the Son of Poseidon isn't bad. I bet you get a lot of perks, Talent wise." Victoria spoke with her mind at the moment. Although, she was different from her brothers and sisters, instead of plant only talents, she took the ability to heal during the changes of the season. "I wonder why their Cabin is solely pink.." Victoria just thought aloud, sure, there could be different colours that they would use instead of just Pink.

Cole thought for a moment before coming up with his answer. "It's because they are all lovey-dovey and crap. They couldn't really go with the colour black for love." He answered. The wind got colder and he started to regret not bringing a shirt or anything. He shuffled closer to Victoria for warmth. "Gods, its bloody freezing." He muttered though chattering teeth.

"But black is a very nice colour.." Victoria murmured, she would take the colour black above everything else. This made her think about pen-pal she used to write to, who lived in a different area of Roma, a place where she never would travel do. Remembering how the girl loved the colour black or something like that. Victoria chuckled a bit and shook her head. "I guess the son of Poseiden can't keep himself warm." She let out a chuckle softly.

"No, its seems that the son of Posiedon cannot keep himself warm, can he?" He chuckled, rubbing his arms for heat. If he continued to be this cold, he would go back in the water. Zeus came running back and jumped on his lap. Cole pulled him close for heat. "So, out of intrest, do you have a boyfriend?" He asked nicely.

She watched out onto the water, the lake that was close to Camp Half-Blood. The wind didn't bother her very much, even though she was just in a t-shirt. Her gray eyes just stared out onto the water. Simply thinking about everyone. About how Charles and Lily were. How Emmett was holding up, being so far from her at the moment. Another thing that came into her mind, was the thought about her real mother, Demeter. Was she getting ready for her immortal daughter to return soon? Due to the fact it was becoming Winter to Spring very soon.

When Cole had asked her if she had a boyfriend, Victoria looked at him, surprised. Strange for someone to be asking her that at the moment. "N - No." She stuttered, still surprised that Cole had asked her that.

Cole looked down at Zeus in his lap, who had just closed his eyes and started to fall asleep. Playing with the Nymphs all day did that to you: wore you out. Not that Cole would know as he had played a game with anyone since he was young. He bit his lip, not looking back up at Victoria as he blushed red slightly. "Nice." He said, not really knowing what to say.
