I was trying to make my way around camp and so far I'm succeeding. I used my cane as a resource to walk around and become familiar with the area around me. I sucked, majorly. Being disabled really is a disadvantage. I never thought what I would do, until it actually happened to me. It really makes you grateful for the things you have. But now, I have nothing. Just me, my dragon, Harry, and my cane.

I keep walking, one foot in front of the other waving my cane around on the ground. I sniff to smell the aroma in the air. Mmm, strawberries. My favorite. Ever since the accident, my other four senses have become stronger. I could really smell the different scents around me.

The little things like that help you appreciate life, but I don't appreciate life. I hate it.

But I couldn’t be around a place that made me think of home and what my life used to be. I walk my way around the Strawberry Fields from what I feel with my cane. The Forest seemed peaceful, I guess. But I didn’t want to be alone. I didn’t want company, but I didn’t want to alone.

Being indecisive is part of who I am, but I had to make a choice sometime. To the Arena I guess. I enter the Arena and I use my cane to locate the seats, and I sit down on the closest bench I could possibly find.

Carrying a huge party sized Sunny-D juice bottle, and a cookie, I head to the arena. I never practice, and I didnt know anyone here so I had no one to watch, but some how I went anyway. I chug my juice, and take a bite of my cookie. There was a guy with a... cane? Huh. I knew there were all kinds of ways to fight, but a cane? That was new. I walk over to where he was sitting, and stradle the bleachers near him. "A cane?" I ask him, smiling to show him I was teasing. I never expected him to be blind.

I was sitting there peacefully reading my book. Well, sort of reading my book, it was written in Braille. I was reading Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. My dad said I'd like it since it was about teenage rebellion. It was the type of book I least wanted to read. But it was the only book that I could read that didn't require using my eyes.

I hated this. All of this. And I don't even know what this is. I could hear swords clanging against each other and in pierces my ear. My hearing senses advanced since I lost my sight. I hear a new voice concerning my cane. It sounded taunting and rude. "Yeah?" What's it to you?" I reply snarkily.

I scoot away. "Sorry...didn't mean it like that." I snap at him testily.

She seemed to retreat away from me. She should. Because no one wants to be around a freaking cripple. Look at me, I'm a damn wreck. I couldn't pierce her with my eyes, but I could pierce her with my words. Biting words that could damage someone's heart. I heard it every day. People making fun of me, taking advantage of me, just because they knew I wasn't able to fight back. Because they knew I wouldn't be able to see them.

"Then what did you mean by it?"I say venomously. I was sick of people taking back the things that they say, if they meant it or not. If you say something, you can literally take it back. My last girlfriend said that she loved me, after my accident, she 'took it back.' I wanted to cry, but my eyes didn't seem to work. Not that they ever will again.

I walked into the arena with my bow and quiver bag, a small puppy followed me chaseing a gray and white kitten, I shh'ed them and countuied on, I finally got them to become quite, My silver cream eye's serched the room, but I said nothing to ethier people, I walked past the two people and set my gig bag down on a chair, I might play guitar later, work on my tune. after a few minutes I drew my bow aimming for the dummies I shot it in the heart on first try. The shosh of the arrow hummed in my ear.

Seeing a fight beginning between a girl and a boy in the middle of the arena I quickly walk up to them, I liked mischief and pranks but fights, not so much(though they could be fun at times). "Now, now you two break it up," I say, then I hold out my hand to the man with the cane, the non-instigator of the two. He seemed to be blind so I pulsed a bit of magic through my hand that even a blind person (if they were a demigod anyway) could sense, "I'm Erryse. Who are you?" I ask him.

"I was kidding." I retort to him, and take a swift gulp of my Sunny-D. "I wasn't trying to be mean, sorry." I tel him and truly mean it. Wow, me sorry? Thats new.

"Kidding about what?" I ask her, "there are things to tease someone about then there are thins that make absolutely no sense to tease someone about. Having a cane falls into the second catagory."

This chick was a jah-erk! "Dude, chill. Maybe it was some awesomely wicked new weapon or something?" Obviously teasing someone about a cane wasn't the worst thing you could do. I could do much more damage.

Oh my Gods. I was not about to get into some stupid argument about this. I knew that if it was some awesomely new weapon, then it would seem weird at first because no one would know how awesome it was. So, that would mean that some one would have a perfect reason to tease them about because they wouldn't know about it. So it would make sense. But I wasn't about to say that. I turn to face the guy I had offended. Then it hit me, he was blind. No wonder he had been stingy about my comment. "I..sorry." I say stiffly. I sucked at having to say sorry.

I tried to block out the argument then just gave up, turning towards them, my eyes silvery and cream, had a look my anger in them, "Will you just shut-up, she said she was sorry about it, though not very truthfully sounding, and the kids blind, can't help that ain't know reason to treat him any different, once you say something it's there, so ether shut your trap, or stick to your words" I spat, shooting another arrow and nailing the dummy in the forehead between the eyes. The puppy yelped and cuddled up by the bleachers.
