Nope, not freaking out... (greek and one random person)

Nicole looked up, seeing Bruce. Tears fell from Nicole's face. "I don't know," Nicole answered truthfully, her lower lip trembling. Nicole hated bullies. She though all of that would had stopped once she came to camp. Looks like it didnt. "I-I thought all of that would s-stop," Nicole sobbed, covering her face so Bruce couple see it.

"There will always be cruel people Nicole. Always." I didn't want to stomp on her fantasy, but she wasn't going to find a place where people like that didn't exist. It is a heartless world we survive in, and being half god doesn't help matters. My lips purse together as I think about it. I wanted camp to be the place Nicole wanted it. Where everyone accepts each-other the way they are. Sadly there is no such place. Instead of sharing these thoughts with Nicole, I whip a strand of hair from her face, lift her chin, and gently kiss her on the cheek.

Nicole finally stopped crying when Bruce kisses her cheek gently. Nicole took a deep breath to steady herself. "Sorry about that," Nicole mumbled to Bruce, looking up at him. Sometimes it was hard for Nicole to control her emotions. Any mean thing said to her wanted to make Nicole cry. Nicole sighed lighky and ran a hand through her long dark brown, wavy hair. Nicole leaned forward and rested her head on Bruce's chest, listening to his heartbeat.

"Sorry about what?" I question placing my hand on the side of her head. "Emotions are a fact of life," I say more to myself then to her. Despite just a few minutes ago I was taking aim at my own kind, putting the infirmary into silence i could hear the hustle and bustle of the medics taking care of the wounded. After a long moment of running my fingers through Nicole's hair and listening to the sounds of organized chaos, it occurred to my Nicole's shoulder. "How's your shoulder?" I ask breaking the silence between us.

Nicole rested her head on Bruce's chest, listening to his heartbeat. Nicole sighed a bit, closing her eyes. Nicole smiled lightly when Bruce was running his fingers through her hair. Nicole looked up at Bruce and smiled lightly. "I um, loveyou," Nicole told Bruce, saying the last part really fast, unsure of what his reaction wold be.

I have to blink surprise out of my eyes before I'm able to respond. A small smile moves over my face. I couldn't say I wasn't expecting it. We spent the night together, doing... stuff. "I love you to Nicole," I say quite confused.

Nicole blushed a bit and a smile played on her lips. "I love you. There, maybe you can understand be better than before," Nicole said smiling, just wanting to tell that to Bruce again.
