Nevaeh's eyes flashed open as she felt someone nudge her hardly. She stood up quickly, glaring at Cole lightly. Nevaeh already knew that this trip was going to be hell. Nevaeh couldn't seem to get along with Cole at all. Nevaeh ran a hand through her brown hair, which was wet, thanks to Cole. Her clothes were slightly damp, not as wet as her hair was. Nevaeh glared slightly at Cole. "May I help you?" Nevaeh asked Cole, already loosing her patience.

Cole rolled his eyes at her. It took a while for him to let someonr close to him so he got a reaction like hers from everyone when they only just met him. He eventually trusted them though...after a while. "You were looking like an idiot. Could you at least try and remember that this is a public place? You were looking high just lying there." He told her, laughing at the fact he was dry and she was dripping wet.

Nevaeh rolled her eyes. "Oh how funny," Nevaeh said back, crossing her arms, trying to seize up Cole. He was taller her. Dang boys and their tallenes. Nevaeh took a step back so the heights could be somewhat even. "Besides, that's not even how a high person would look like Bench Boy," Nevaeh said quickly, failing at a good comeback. She put her brown wavy hair into a ponytail. It was still wet. The cold wasn't helping either.

Cole snorted, shoving his hands back inside his pockets. "Worst come back ever." He said, shaking his head with disgust. If you had no good material, dont even try it. "I have a name you know, even if you wont be able to say it. Air-head." He rolled his eyes, thinking his nickname fit perfectly with this dumbass. "Blud, are you seriously this dumb?" He asked.

Nevaeh glared at Cole. "Gee, I don't know. Maybe I would be able to hear you if you cut that freaking long hair of yours. See in America, guys with long hair are associated with bums, something you should be fimiliar with," Nevaeh snapped at Cole, clenching her fists. Nevaeh knew that if Cole said anything smart, she was goin to explode with anger. "I swear I you say anything else you'll be fancing my fist!" Nevaeh yelled loudly.

Cole gritted his teeth at the hair comment which hit a little too close to home. He had grown his hair long so it was harder fot the press to recognise him. Plus, girls liked it. "Uh-huh. I swear, I really want to take you to Wales. We would eat you for breakfast. You wouldnt last a day. You think you are tough. Just wait and see what happens when you get on the wrong side of a Welshman. Go on." He challenged, his hands turning into fists by his sides.

Nevaeh gritted her teeth. She wanted to slap Cole for what he said. Nevaeh thought she was tough. She had survived a fire and a building had collapsed on her. Without thinking, Nevaeh rubbed her arm where her scar from the fire was. "Oh please! What are they going to do to me! There is nothing yet I have not gone through! You act all tough and stuff but you could barely burst the freaking pipes!" Nevaeh yelled. Nevaeh glared at Cole. She didn't people like him in her life. Well, it wasn't like she had a lot of friends of anything. Nevaeh's was bitter because of what had happened to her. "I bet I could survive. Unlike you! If your so tough, why didn't you go back to your country!" Necaeh yelled, poking his chest. Nevaeh swiftly turned on her heels and walked away, nit needing of of Cole's crap. Inside though, Nevaeh felt broken. She knew she had no right to say those things. Yet, Nevaeh didn't care. People always treated her like that so why couldn't she return the favor? Nevaeh felt her lower lip tremble and a tear fall.

"The pipes were about twenty feet under, God dammit!" He yelled at her, following her from a metre behind. "Why dont I go back? Because im stuck in this hellhole of a country until im eigtheen!" He grabbed her arm, whipping her around to face him. "Do I even get a thank you for saving your butt?" He asked, quieting down slightly when he saw the tear in her eye.

Nevaeh wiped the tear away. "Fine. Thank you," Nevaeh mumbled to Cole, pulling her arm back. Nevaeh wiped another tear as it fell. She hoped she would stop crying in front of Cole. "Sorry," Nevaeh mumbled, not really sure of Coke heard her. She crossed her arms again, keeping her chin up. No weakness.

Cole watched her cry, not making any move to comfort her apart from giving her an awkward pat on the shoulder. His anger had deflated once more. "How about we start this again." He suggested, trying to be friendly, which he rarely was. He held out his hand to her. "My name is Cole Dafydd Llewellyn, im fifteen, from Wales and a son of Poiedion." He smiled, the wind blowing his longer hair into his face.

Nevaeh raised an eyebrow at Cole. She shook Cole's hand. "Nevaeh, daughter of Antheia. I'm from Washington state," Neveah said to Cole. She stuffed get hands in her jacket pockets. She had finally stopped crying. She hated crying along with a lot of other things. She smiled lightly at Cole before laughing a bit.

Cole laughed with her, brushing his hair out of his eyes and tucking it behind his ears. He looked around, scanning the area quickly before returning his gaze at Nevaeh. "Washington? Isnt that the place where that Obama dude lives?" He asked, pretending to be dumb. "And the blue house, is it? The grey house?" He grinned from ear to ear.

Nevaeh laughed her small laugh. "No. Washington state dumb dumb. And it's the white house," Nevaeh said with a grin. She ran a hand through her long hair. The ponytail had slipped out, letting Nevaeh's wavy brown hair cascade around hair. Nevaeh looked up at Cole with her green eyes and smiled lightly. "So what now Water Boy?" Nevaeh asked smiling.

Cole frowned. "Really? I thought there was only one Washington place. Damn." He said seriously. In Britain, you dont really learn about America. The only stuff you learn is from TV and films. He only learnt recently that there were fifty states. "Call me Aqua-man. We could grab a coffee?" He suggested.

Nevaeh couldn't help but laugh lightly. "Yeah, there are two places. And, coffee would be great," Nevaeh said with a smile. Nevaeh grabbed Cole's hand without meaning to and dragged him down the street. "Know any places?" Nevaeh asked with a grin, letting go of Cole's hand. Nevaeh had no idea where any coffee shops were.

Cole frowned. He didn't even know how to use a subway, let alone navigate his way around New York. He assumed that the subway was just like the underground...just an American version. He shrugged it off, brushing his long hair off his face. "Uh...no. Do you have Starbucks here?" He asked, wondering if it was just British ir worldwide.

Nevaeh smiled at Cole. "Yeah, there is a Starbucks in New York City. Almost one on every block," Nevaeh told Cole smiling. She grabbed his arm and lead him down a few blocks until she finally saw a Starbucks. She stepped inside and wrinkled her nose. She never liked coffee that much. But, Starbucks coffee wasn't her favorite type of coffee really. nevaeh quickly scanned the mneu.

Cole looked around the coffee shop, not really a fan of Starbucks. He had always prefered Costa or Cafe Nero as they did better tea. Or Mark and Spencer's hot chocolate where they filled it with so much marshmellows and cream that it spilled over the top. He ordered a hot chocolate, adding caramel shots before taking a sofa seat in the corner. "There is a Starbucks on every street?" He asked incredulously. "Back hone there is a Tesco on every street." He rolled his eyes with distaste.
