| annaleigh walked out on to the Snowball Field and looked wearily down at the ground. She had nothing to do, and she hoped she didn't get hit with a snowball. She unfortunately out of luck and she was hit with a dozen snowballs. They all hit her pretty hard, and Annaleigh was knocked down to the ground. She just lay there for a moment since the balls hurt so damn much. She coughed and shivered on the ground.

He, himself, being able to manipulate snow had a finished fort that he was able to hide under. Matt scurried out from behind his protective shield of snow and crawled over to the girl. "Need some help their, soldier?" he joked, flashing a goofy grin. "I have that fort over there. You're welcome to come behind and rest for a little while," he replied. The son of Khione started back towards his fortress of snow-ness. He paused a moment and gestured for the girl to follow. As he paused he was his square in the side by snowball. Matt let out a lout, girl-ish squeak and frantically scrambled back behind his fort. "I've been wounded!" he hollered. Ms. Opal, his cat, who was sitting behind the protection of the fort, looked up at her companion and swished her bushy tail. "You're a child..." she retorted. Matt turned to the source of the feline voice and blinked a few times. | annaleigh got up slowly and ran towards the fort. She didn't feel like crawling today. She didn't feel like anything today. Her happy mood had been drained by her stereotypical happiness. She started to drag him towards the fort and shuddered for warmth. She should have worn something else besides her sweatshirt, but she had just gotten it from her dad for Christmas, and she thought it was really funny and cute. She looked at her double gold ring, another Christmas present. It was studded in diamonds and that made her feel insecure and alone. Most women got diamonds from their boyfriends or someone special, but not Annaleigh. | |
