Kacey April Lawrence

'The lace covered her delicate, marble-white skin was now turning a violent, dark red from the soaking blood,' she wrote, gently pressing each key on her Macbook. Her fingernails were a blur across the keyboard, her strokes becoming faster and faster. Suddenly it stopped. She hit a dead-point in her writing. Her main character just died. Now what? "Ugh," Kacey Lawrence sighed dramatically. She exited the program and shut the laptop. Kacey pushed it away from her and glanced up at the cloudy sky. The sun was hidden behind a thick blanket of clouds and it honestly looked like it would storm soon. Mr. D must've been in a bad mood today because the weather was actually fairly cold. Her bright, green gaze flickered back to the waves with a dull expression on her face. She'd never cared much for the ocean since it was her Uncle's realm and she couldn't swim.
The waves were pounding the shoreline, crashing against the sand, and hammering the rocks and shells. In the distance she could hear the soft rumbling of thunder. A Poseidon or Zeus child would've found the sounds and smells to be comforting but she just found it to be suitable. She wasn't the type of Hades girl who liked the smell of death and hung around in graveyards, but she did enjoy a good horror movie every now and then. Kacey lifted her gaze from the crashing waves and fixed it on her laptop which was now half in and half out of her bag. She sighed and pulled it back out. She had to finish this roleplay.
