| Denica Kalehla Denica sat at a bench, leaning over the table. Loud music from Snow Patrol emitted from the big radio on the table. She was close to jumping on the table and dancing, but she contained herself. There were a few people in the Arts & Crafts building, and almost all of them were shooting her nasty looks. The thought of turning down the music didn't even occur to her.
Denica donned a Snow Patrol t-shirt, torn skinny jeans, and Nike high tops. Her usual outfit. In front of her were papers, all stacked neatly. To her left was a stack of finished sketches. To her right, clean paper. Directly in front, her current sketch. In her hand was a piece of graphite. It wasn't much of a pencil anymore. She had used much of it. Denica had been sitting at the table for hours. All of the sketches were random things. She was having one of her flash back days. During one of these days, she would spazz out and draw random scenes from her history.
She looked so distracted, and her electric blue eyes were foggy and distant. Her expression plain. The sketch she was working on was from a few weeks before. Sitting in the Freedom Cave. It was a favorite memory, and even when she drew this, Denica's blank expression turned into a smile. | |

It was on the table, and yet couldn't be identified, even by herself. It had electric blue metal wrapped around a small sphere like shape. There were lightning bolts painted all around it, and the base was a dark grey. It was something curious, and definately unique. It would sit on Deliah's shelves she had next to her bed. Following the other trinkets. Picturing in her mind exactly where she wanted it to go, the blue eyed girl shot a look toward Denica. Ah, she was so quiet! Yet she was always here, why hadn't Deliah noticed her before? Working on this object for the past 3 days now was really taking her mind off of the surroundings. Bailing lunch to work on this? Of course, she had an apple next to her, but she really wanted to finish this. "Denica... What are you working on?" She asked, standing up in her chair and peeking over Denica's shoulder.
It seemed to be an very intricate drawing of a girl in a cave. Perhaps it was Denica, sitting in the cave? After all, the girl in the drawing looked strikingly like her. Probably a memory. Every time Denica got that distant look in her eyes, she knew she was drawing something out of personal experience. But didn't she get influenced by the kind of music she listens to? Deliah smiled a bit, then it faded away. Music always influenced Deliah. The drawings, everything the made. Of course, most of her drawings are of some kind of messed up monster of some sort. Mainly because she listened to hard-core music, and some classical (explaining the drawings of nature on her wall)
