The Quest for The Smart One -P R I V A T E-

Seth nodded and squeezed Kat's hand back. The group seemed to walk for a while. Maybe a few hours at the most. The sun was setting and Seth knew it would get dark soon. Really soon. Demigods and darkness do not mix well. "Should we stop for the night or take a cab? If we take a cab, we can get to Isabella and Maine faster," Seth suggested, shrugging his shoulders a bit.

Chris thought for a moment, pushing down his new fear of taxi drivers and nodding. "Yeah, I suppose that would be best." He looked around at them all with raised eyebrows. "How are we gunna call them though?" It was just one problem after another.

Kat held up her hands. "I'm not even going to turn on my phone," she said quickly. "I've never seen a cab past Massechusets before though. Although, I've never really beenfarther north than Massechusets so, I don't know. But we shouldn't be using phones. Unless we can find a pay ohone of course but we're in the middle of the high way. The next exit is," Kat paused looking at the signs. "About a mile?" she muttered softly.

I took one earphone out. "Why don't we take my car. whistles" Out of the forest, came a car be driven by a mini mechanical Octopus and Weasel. The weasel open the door and I got in the driver seat.

Kat blinked. She looked at him with entire disbelief and doubt. "Really?" she asked, her eyebrows raised. "You know that could have been a bit helpful ten minutes ago." In Kat's mind she was really saying something like, 'Um, what the hell?'

Chris gaped, nodding along with what Kat was saying. "Yeah dude, you couldn't have done that earlier?! We could've been there by now!" He clenched his fists, trying to control his anger. The faster they had got there, the closer they were to getting Isabella back. Chris ran a hand through his hair. Chris swore under his hreath, only loud enough for Seth and Kat to hear.

Seth looked at the car, to Demitri and back at the car. "What the hell?" Seth asked, his voice getting a bit high. What the heck was this? What the flippin' fudge was this? Seth gaped at the car. He didn't mind Chris getting angry or cussing. Seth felt the same way. "Are you kidding me? We could've used this a while ago!" Seth yelled, throwing his arms up in the air. Seth semi-glared at Demitri, but softened it. He should be gratefull that they had a ride. But Seth was lost for words.

I waited for everyone to stop cursing at me. "Yeah you're right we right we could have been there by now or what happened to the truck might have happened to my car. In other words, I was making sure it was safe." I explained to them.

OOC: Izzy why did you pick the topic where Demitri gave Izzy a gift to have Izzy break up with Demitri?

Chris took a deep breath, rubbing his forehead in thought. "Dont worry about it. Its done now. Lets just get there." He said calmly, looking from Demetri to Kat and Seth. "Lets just get in and drive, alright?" It wasn't really open for discussion, Chris hitched his backpack higher on his left shoulder and went to stand behind Demetri.

"Alrighty then." Kat said shouldering her back pack once more. "Let's get going. We're wasting time, let's go. He went over to the car with a sigh. They needed to find Izzy soon. She couldn't lose her and Bella at the same time. Kat still wondered where her close friend was but tried to think she was alive. Izzy was their main priority at this point. Izzy was the only person that should be on Kat's mind.

Seth rubbed the back of his neck, frustrated. "Okay, okay. Let's just try to find Isabella and get this stupid quest over with. I..." Seth started to say, but trailed off. He shouldered his backpack and gave Kat a weak smile. Seth walked over to the car, studying it really. "How...?" Seth started to ask, but trailed off, really not wanting to know.

Chris opened the car door, standing at the passenger seat side for a moment before deciding to get in the back. He kept one earbud in, waiting for the others to also get in the car. He didn't care who got in the front, he just didn't fancy it. He ran a hand through his dark, curling hair. "Gods, this day just gets weirder and weirder." He muttered to himself.

Seth sighed. Chris wasn't sitting in the front and he knew that Kat was not going to sit in the front. Besides, he knew that if Chris sat in the front, he would probably start with Demitri. Seth sat in the passenger side. "Alright, let's get this quest over and done with," Seth grumbled under his breath. He dug through his bag and found his cell phone Seth's mom had given him in case of emerginces. Sighing, Seth turned it off to advoid monsters.

"You actually had that on?" Kat asked Seth, climbing into the back seat with Chris. She sighed and waited for Demetri to get going. She resisted the urge to stick her head between her knees and start breathing hard. She felt sick and was ready to get back to camp. Kat just wanted to find Izzy, more then anything.

I started the car and put it in drive. "Everybody ready to go? Okay then and away we go." I started driving. "We'll be in Maine in about a hour, watch for monsters, and please keep all hands, feet, and weapons inside the car at all times.

Chris rolled his eyes, getting more bored with Demetri every minute. He never normally was this impatient. He was just on the edge, stressed and annoyed. He looked over at Kat, smiling slightly before banging his head against the glass of the window. He dicided it was best that he should get a few Z's in whilst he had the time. He closed his eyes, falling asleep as they drove.

Seth rolled his eyes a hit and looked put the window VHS hoped they found Isabella soon. Seth couldn't loose his best friend. If Isabella was dead, that monster or demigod was going to get beat down all the way to Hades. Seth shook the thought out of his head. Not the place to think about it. Suddenly, Seth had an idea. "Has anyone ties to Iris-message Isabella?" Seth asked curious.

Kat considered this for a second. It seemed like something to try, but the idea didn't seem to add up. "I didn't try it," she said softly. "But don't you think it's not logical? Whoever took her to wherever she is must not be an idiot. They must have enchanted wherever she is being held." Kat stopped, realizing she was being negative. "I mean we could try it."

I heard everyone groan and complain. "I'm kidding at the speed we'll be going will be there in 20 minutes." I said I put my seatbelt and off we went.

20 minutes later

"See 20 minutes. why don't we stop at a motel and continue the quest in the morning." I suggested.

Seth glared at Demitri. "Dude, we are trying to see if we can Iris message Isabella and your worried about getting to Maine!" Seth snapped, starting to loose hi patience. Seth knew he was acting all crabby from lack of sleep and the fact that his best friend was missing. Seth ran a hand through his blond hair, obvisouly frustrated. "Sorry about that," Seth mumbled to Demitri. He thought for a bit before repling to Kat. "Your about to get kiddnapped and scared out of your mind. I think Isabella would least likely be thinking of Iris messaging us. She's probably trying to make an escape," Seth said, slumping back in his seat.

Chris woke up to the sound of Seth getting angry at Demetri. He grinned briefly, brushing away some of the dark curls that had fallen on his face. He looked around, finding they had stopped yet he was still tired. He heard the end of Seth's sentance. "We are gunna Iris message Isabella?" He frowned. Surely this couldn't work. But then again, what did he know? He was an Aphrodite kid, the others were the ones with the brains.

Kat narrowed her eyes. "I can't wait until we find Izzy," she muttered, pulling her knees close to her chest. "Then, I wont have to deal with all of you guys." Kat said "guys" like it was almost an insult. She couldn't stand the bickering being produced. She rolled her eyes and sighed. "Don't get mad at Demetri he's trying to help. We should find a rainbow and see what we can do quickly." Who knew where Izzy was at the moment. She could be injured or worse. Kat pushed the thoughts out of her mind.

Seth thought for a moment. "She would probably have tied to Irus Messge us or even escape. Isabella's a daughter of Athena, never once has she lost fight. We are dealing with someone who knows their skills," Seth thinking, thinking what was happening to Isabella. She must have tried to escape a thousand times, never giving up.

Since no one seems to be paying attention to this quest to posting, this quest is over. I'm deeply sorry.
