I stood at the meeting spot with a piece of paper in my hand. On the paper was an address to a party that would start in about ten minutes. I wasn't worried about being late. In fact it would be better if we were late since we weren't invited. The problem at the moment was that half of the 'we' hadn't even showed up yet. "I hope she isn't gonna stand me up," I said to myself. I hadn't dressed special for the occasion, I just didn't look as messy as usual.
