A well deserved vacation(private to Permafrost)

Jake carried Izzy to his motorcycle and set her down beside it. His motorcycle was a bright red with leather packs on the side, and freshly shined steel steering. He reached into the pack and took out two helmets, and he handed her one.
This helmet was owned by a friend of mine, but I get the feeling they won't mind if you use it.
He sat onto the motorcycle and patted a spot behind him letting her know that was her seat.
What say you to starting our vacation right?
With that he started the motorcycle and waited for her to get on.

She put on the helmet with a warm smile, then added her cowboy hat. Which she had become extremely attached to in the past few weeks. Climbing on the back of his bike, she smiled and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist." Dear, what about clothes?" Her voice was a bit wobbly from the pain that still coursed in her arm. Her eyes sparkled while she waited to go. Hopefully there wouldn't be any attacks on them on their vacation. But still she worried about Pole attacking them again.

I have guys who know guys that can get us clothes in Vegas. I'm pretty well known around there so we should be fine.
With that he peeled his motorcycle onto the road and headed for a small hill that overlooked the water. As he drove along the coast he began to talk.
This was my favorite spot to come to when I was deep in thought. I hope that you'll fid it as calming as I do.
He stopped the motorcycle at the crest of one of the hills. The view was magnificent, the water was red as the sun set behind the horizon, and the clouds looked purple.
What do you think Izzy?

"It's gorgeous and I wouldn't want to see something like thing with anyone except you." Her voice was a breathy whisper while she look in the sight. There was just something so magical about this place. Her heart fluttered while her arms wrapped around him. "God I love you Jake." Her mind raced with thoughts.

I'm glad that you like it Izzy, you're the only person I've ever shared this spot with. It's a restament to how much I love you. He turned his body and kissed her.
How about that trip to Vegas? It's time for us to get a well deserved vacation.
It took 3 days travel to reach Vegas, but the travel was well worth it. He hoped that Izzy would enjoy the trip.
Where do you want to go first Izzy?

"Well, first I'd love to find somewhere to stay, except for the lotus hotel. We both know what happens there. Besides I really need a shower." Her cheeks flushed when she said that, three days on the back of his bike, with only a few stops didn't really help her feel refreshed. Her lips met his lightly returning his kiss when she smiled. "Then maybe we could find some dinner?"

I know just the place for us, Caesar's Palace will give you the time you need to get refreshed. Than I'll meet you at the restaurant down stares. It's got to be better than the Lotus Hotel. He griined at her, kissed her again and than arranged for two rooms at Caesar's Palace.
Everything is all set for us, you'll find some new clothes ready for you once you've showered.

Nodding she kissed him again and went up to her room. She smiled the room looked amazing, walking into the bathroom she started the water, hot enough to keep her warm but cold enough to not burn her. Dropping her dirty clothes she stepped under the hot spray, carefully washing off before washing her hair. Climbing out she wrapped a towel around her and went to see what was brought for her to wear.

Meanwhile Jake had quickly taken a shower and run down to the dining area. He made reservations for himself and Lexi, and than headed back to his room. He saw a freshly layed out suit on his bed and he got into it. He slicked back his hair and pulled some of it over his scarred eye, and got into his suit.He looked at himself in the mirror and thought, I hate suits, but at least Izy won't be ashamed of me. He walked back downstares and into one of the slot rooms next to the dining room. He whispered in one of the attendants ears and returned to the dining room waiting for Izzy.

Isabelle had found a deep red cocktail dress that fell an inch above her knee. Though there was also a white dress for her. Slipping on the black pumps and redoing her makeup she went downstairs and found Jake in the dining room. Even from far away he was handsome making her way over to the table she whispered into his ear from behind." Waiting for someone?"

A chill went down Jake's spine, and he smiled.
No, no one in particular, just my girlfriend.
He turned to face her and gave her a quick kiss. He got up from his seat and pulled out her chair. Than he snapped his fingers, and a waiter approached.

Isabelle smiled and sat down, her hair was a bit wet. Which made it look wild when she looked at him."Good love. I adore you honey." She purred her words, her lips curled into a small smile. Gazing to him she ran her fingers across his palm.

Jake pushed in her seat and sat across from her.
I promise tonights going to be a night to remember. I adore you to dear, and I don't know anyone I would rather spend time with.
The waiter approached the table and looked at Izzy and Jake in turn than left to the kitchen. He returned a few minutes later with two platters in hand. He placed one in front of Jake and the other infront of Izzy than left.

Izzy looked over and arched her brow. With a smile she blew him a kiss." Good, because if there was someone else. This dinner would be all over you and I'd be gone." She said with a warm loving smile. Though her eyes pointed out that she was serious. Gently she squeezed his hand, blowing a kiss.

Jake made as if to catch the kiss and motioned putting it in his pocket.
I'll save that for later. You don't have to worry about anyone else because no one else could tame me. After our meal what would you like to do next Izzy. All of Vegas is in the palm of our hand, we can go anywhere and do anything.
He squiezed her hand affectionately as he looked into her eyes.

She smiled her eyes watching his. She longed to say maybe go see one of the churches but she said instead." Anywhere that you want to go. I'll happily go to. But do you think we could maybe catch a movie first. It's been so long since I've seen anything in the theatre." Taking her hand from his she quietly began to eat the meal.

Whatever you want to do Izzy is fine with me. I'll do whatever you want, even go to the edge of the world and back. Which movie do you want to see?
Jake began to eat his meal forcing himself to maintain his table manners. Very difficult for a child of Ares to be sure. He called over the waiter and whispered something in his ear, and the waiter left hurriedly from the dining room.

Izzy watched him, her head tilted curious as to what he was up to." Honey... thank you for being so wonderful. I know it's probably hard for you to even remotely sit still this long." She longed to kiss bit, but not right in this moment, it wasn't the right time." I can't believe it's only been a few weeks together. It feels like a life time. I heard that they were showing Mary Poppins. It's my favorite movie, could we go see it?"

I know how you feel exactly Izzy. The art of sitting still is something that's alluded me since I was just a little kid. As for Mary Poppins...sure, not really my kind of movie, but as long as you like it.He called over another waiter who brought the bill over. Jake gave a name to the waiter who walked away bowing. Than the other waiter who had left came back into the room and handed Jake a piece of paper and left.
I'll show you what this is all about after the movie Izzy. For now I'll keep it a secret. He winked at her and stood up. He pulled out her chair and waited for her to rise.

She rose from her seating blushing. Holding his hand she waited until they were out of the restaurant before she gave him the most passionate kiss. During the movie she hummed along to some of the songs before it ended." That was really fun,I'm glad you went even though you don't like these types of movies."

He hugged her as she kissed him before the movie, and returned her kiss.
Well, it was almost like my worst nightmare come true, but since I was with you it was okay. Something about practically perfect in every way just doesn't seem right. Now I bet you wondering what I was doing earlier tonight. Well, let's go back to the hotel and you can find out.
He began to walk back to the hotel with his arm laced through hers.

She smiled and walked along side him. What did he have planned. So was curious and nervous at the same time." Would it have anything to do with the dress that's in my room?" She asked a bit curious as to what his answer would be. But still she couldn't wait. The walked to the hotel felt like forever.

Oh, I can't tell you to much Izzy, but I will say this, it does have to do with the other dress in your room.
They reached the entrance of the hotel and Jake let go of Izzy.
There will be a surprise waiting for you in your room.
With that he walked to the elevator to go to his own room. As he rode the elevator he thought about the note he had asked the waiter to bring up to Izzy's room.

Izzy, I know that this is probably far to presumptous of me, but I feel as if I need to do this. The time I have spent with you has been th greatest time of my life. I arranged for the white dress on your bed to be there when we first arrived hoping you would understand what it meant. I suppose what I'm trying to say is...would you marry me.

Now Izzy took the other elevator walking into the room, she picked up his note. Her eyes widened then a smile crossed her lips. Carefully she changed into the other dress, redoing her make up then pinning up her hair before calling his room. The only message on his phone was simple and so fully of love."Yes I'll marry you Jake."

Jake was waiting on his bed, his hand hovering near the phone. But once the call came in he couldn't pick it up, he was to afraid of what her answer would be. However once the message played his mind reeled with happiness. He quickly got into another tux that was specially fitted to his frame and called Izzy's room.
Our chariot awaits Izzy, meet me at the limosine parked right out front.
He ran out of the room and headed towards the hotel entrance.
