Shattered Dreams (A Poem by Selene)

The mirror is the crystal clear waterfall at edge of the forest,
Showing your dearest desires.
But that mirror that you adore, tells lies.
Forbidden lies that may scar one being eternally.
The purity is shattered.

No person is crystal clear.
The mirror tells lies.
You are the broken, beaten, and shattered.
Lies of perfectness, that the mirror reflects.
The clearness is gone.

No trust shall you put in the mirror.
Lies only does it reflect.
And nothing more it shows.
No one thing is perfect.
The crystal's have cracked.

A wonderful illusion.
Tells you wonderful things.
Like bold little Erised.
Only your desires will sing.
The illusion is strong.

Shattered mirror is the one,
That will sing you a little song.
A song of truthfulness,
It show's you what you do not miss.
The truth is in the shattered mirror.
