| i wheeled over to the lake and parked by the edge. i had a picture of my mom in my hand and the letter she wrote to me before they killed her. i had tears in my eyes as i read the letter over and over agian and looking at her picture. the letter said. ג'סטין היקר שלך אם קוראים את זה זה אומר שהעברתי. רק יודע שיש לי ותמיד אוהב אותך לא משנה מה. אהבה של אמא. | |

| Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road. Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go. So make the best of this test, and don't ask why. It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time. It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. | M E L I N A | J O H N S O N || D A U G H T E R | O F | A T H E N A | "Finally," Melina said quietly to herself, reclining on the grass next to the lake. "I can relax." She placed her arms behind her blonde head. "No more quests for a while now. That's a promise."
The daughter of Athena was absolutely exhausted. First, she was told to go on a quest with the Hecate cabin leader, Anna Jones, and a few other half-bloods to retrive the cabin leader's cousin, Violet. Thugs. Monsters. Almost deaths. Yep, a pretty normal journey for a half-blood.
The last quest she had gone on was quite painful, however. Retrieving Demeter's rake was even more torture, especially when you have a deadline of only a few hours or Demeter could possibly die. Poor Melina. When will she stop pushing herself, and give herself a break?

Looking up, Melina noticed a kid--about five or six--in a wheelchair rolling down into the lake.
Was he out of his mind?
With suprising speed, the teenager dashed over to the boy and gripped the handles of his wheelchair. "What are you doing?" It was clear to her was he was doing, but the shocking scene forced the words out of her mouth. "Is everything alright?"

| Blythe Septavian Blythe was ready to jump into the lake, to wash out her weariness. She was hoping to be alone, but she saw a girl holding back a young boy in a wheel chair. Running towards them, she saw that the boy was crying. "Are you guys okay?" Blythe asked. | |

| Blythe Septavian "Woah woah woah," Blythe said, holding the kid back. "No one's going to die on my watch. Especially if its suicide." She studied the kid's face intently. His face was smeared with tears. Probably a death of a loved one. "You don't have to kill yourself to bear the pain," Blythe said softly. | |

| Blythe Septavian Blythe was almost angry with the boy. He wasn't the only kid in camp with an internal pain. But she hid her emotions. "We're your family now, Justin," Blythe said softly. "That's why you're in Camp Half-Blood. Many campers have gone through things worse than you. But they try to live past that. They try to enjoy their lives with their new family." Blythe looked to the ground, discreetly wiping away a tear. "Promise me you won't try that again." | |

| Blythe Septavian Blythe sighed and shook her head. She created a door leading into the lake, jumped in it, grabbed the kid, and jumped back out. "You can't run from a daughter of Janus," Blythe said. "Now. Let me clarify some things. I haven't seen my mother die, but I have seen her in pain worse than death. Can you imagine feeling pain so great, you know you're going to die, but you are not able to? That's what my mother's going through. I bet you a million drachmas that your mother died because she wanted to protect you. SO don't kill yourself and disgrace her death." OCC: Er... I don't think your character was accepted yet.... | |

| ~You have to fix your grammar, it's in the rules. Blythe Septavian Blythe sighed. This kid was a emotional nightmare, almost as if he was trying to make her pity him. "I won't leave you alone, unless you don't commit suicide. If you try, I will know. And please, please take into account what other campers have experienced." Blythe got up, and jumped into the Lake, putting as much distance as she could between her and the boy. | |

| I patted his head. "Sure squirt. I said. I silently prayed to Apollo that he wouldn't do anything stupid. Like kill himself. I know, not how a 6 year old should think, but just in case. I walked back to the Apollo cabin and walked to his bunk. It was the neatest bunk out of all of ours. The kid really knew how to clean up after himself.
I placed the photo and the letter on his bed. I really felt bad for the kid. He had alot going for him. Best not to let it end before it happens.
