I s'pose it would make sense to make it Apollo makin' us... But why? 'cos not everyone would want to do it, so it would seem like he cursed a whole lot of seemingly random kids. For that reason, even though that idea would be cool, just... Maybe not. I dunno.

I was thinking just we RP as if it's a musical, but they aren't, in their little magical world, actually singing and dancing around.

Well, if I remember, didn't the Ares kids put a curse on a cabin to only talk rhyme, or am I going crazy? xD So, maybe the Hecate cabin gets together and curses everyone to do that?

I think it was the Apollo children that called on their father to curse the Ares children, actually. Though, I'm sure the Hecate children wouldn't mind. ;)

And, yeah, the Apollo Cabin cursed the Ares cabin 'cos of the Chariot. I think the Hecate cabin thing would be cool - isn't Hecate often... I dunno... harsh? ...Which would reflect on her children, so...

Haaaaaaaaaaang on, how would forcing everyone to talk in rhyme cause them to become part of a musical? To meh, that doesn't make any sense, unless I'm missing something.
I can't see that working as the reason the musical began. Mostly because I would imagine that most people would be extremely irritated by being forced to rhyme. Constantly.

Also, although that does work as part of the storyline behind the musical there's a fairly huge limitation right there. You have to remember that musicals aren't fully comprised of singing and the rhyming curse would make it hard to get your point across in some situations.


PS. Very sorry if I stated anything blatantly obvious there, I just don't want a good idea completely butchered.

Well, I guess Musicals never make sense, do they? xD

So, they get enchanted to rhyme and what not, and they start rhyming, and the rhyming turns to singing. Because, if you look at Musicals, it never makes any sense as to how they started singing, and everyone acts like it's normal.

I'm terrible at explaining things, so sorry. xD

Not everyone would have to do the rhyming and singing - it would be an optional thing for people that want to participate. It wouldn't have to have a rhyming/singing curse, it could just be another way to write it. So it would need to mean the characters actually got cursed, the writer would just write like that when really the char isn't doing it. Like writing a story into a poem.
I hope that made sense, but it's what I originally meant.
