January Room

The January room is the coldest at all times. It clocks in at an average of -10º c every month of the year. It, like the other rooms, consists of about five beds. These beds are similar to the others as well as they appear to be made of ice but are actually an opaque foam material. The furs sitting on the beds as blankets are faux but are cut in such a way that it makes them appear to be real.
The January Room is constantly filled with an icy blue glow. This is due to the fact that each window is covered by a tall ice pillar with ornate carvings and swirls in its surface. There are various ice sculptures created by Khione campers during the years decorating the walls of the room. In the front there's a sitting area as well as a bookshelf that holds various collections of books that the members of the room own.

On the wall was a sign-up sheet for open spots in the January Room.

Kyle looked around the spacious room, and grinned to himself. "Hey, Roger! We have our room! Our new home! Isn't it awesome? The temperature's amazing as well!" He made a bit of snow on the ground and grinned to himself, "Geez, Roger. I think I'm never wanting to leave this place. Ever! I'm staying here year-round!" Roger barked, as if to show that he agreed that it was the best idea Kyle ever made.

I walked into the January room and headed straight for my bed. It had been a LONG day, and I was absoluely exhausted. I had been up since 3:00am, and while helping people made me feel warm and special, it came with the great need to take a nap. I flopped onto my bed, and kicked off my combat boots, but quickly sat up in shock. "Oh!" I said, staring at the boy with the dog. "Uh....Hi? You new?" I said, as my husky, ice, climbed unto my bed.
