I sat alone on to sand and looked up at the stars. It was a lonely night. Not many people were on the beach. The waves crashed onto the shore every minute. I sighed and laid my head on the sand. My eyes were burning from reading too much Greek and my head was swimming with Greek gods. I pulled my light blue sweatshirt closer around me.

| I was walking on the beach going to go swimming, but I saw a girl sitting along the beach.I didn't want to bother, but I figured she was alone. I walked near her. I sat next to her and asked ''Who's your greek parent?'' | |

| I asked her, ''Do you want to go swiming?'' I waited for an answer. While I was waiting I was trying to look for the constellations my mom used to show me. I took out my camera to take a picture of the shooting star I saw. I wished I could see my mom again. A tear went down my cheek. | |
