Jack arrives at camp (open)

"And this is Camp Half Blood!" my friend Oak said. He said he was a 'satyr'. I was wondering if he had been drinking anything.
"Dude, whats the 'Half Blood' for?" I asked him.
"Bahahah! you don't know? oh... yeah you probably don't. Let's just let Chiron explain," he answered. I sighed.

Misty
I was walking around with my copy of of my BW manga when I saw a newcomer. "Hi, I'm Misty! What's your name?" I asked. "Welcome to Camp!"

"Hi. I'm Jack..." I answered shyly.
"He's new at camp," Oak told Misty. [i]Wow she is extremely pretty...[i] I thought. But then again every girl was pretty... but not extremely.

I smiled. "Nice to meet you, Jack." He's cute... I thought. I didn't thuink that many boys were cute. I put my manga in my bag.

"Hey, could you show him around. I have to go check in on a... dryad..." Oak said. I looked at the girl curiously. Oak was blushing.

"Sure," I said. Hmm...Where to start? The cabins, I decided. "Come on, i,ll show you the cabins," I said.

"Here's the cabins," I said as we walked into the pavilion. "This place is crazy, isn't it?" I asked Jack. I had thought so, too, when i first arrived. "Do you know why you're here?" I asked.

"He was telling the truth. All of us have one parent who is a god or goddess. Mine is Aphrodite, sadly- annoying brothers and sisters. My friend Ebony is Apollo's daughter, Phoenix is one of Nyx's, and Feather is one of Hecate's," I said. "Do you agree NOW taht it"s crazy? And those are Satyrs," she added, gesturing to the goat-bodied people. "You're friend Oak is one too."

"Nobody knows. You're not Claimed yet, right?" I asked. Then I laughed at myself. "Of course not,. You'd know if you were. For now you'll stay in cabin Eleven. That's where all unclaimed campers go."

"Yeah. Just watch your possessions," I warned him. "Hermes IS the god of thieves, after all... And those kids like to take things. If you keep that in mind, you'll be fine!"

Essie looked up from where she was standing to see a newbie with Misty Breeze, one of Aphrodite's kids. She walked over half smiling, "Hey Misty." she said calmly, she smiled at the new kid and nodded towards him, "Who are you?" she asked looking at him again. He wasn't too bad to look at, but he definatly wasn't her type.

I pulled out my cell and the letter to check the coordinates one last time. The phone was dead, but I had to be close.Pulling my long black hair into a ponytail, I walked forward through the thin viel of trees until I came to a clearing with a single pine tree. There was a sign with odd symbols that I was somehow able to understand- Welcome to Camp Halfblood, it read. "I guess this is it," I mumbled to myself. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and stepped past the tree. I saw a few campers near the tree and walked past the group, attempting to avoid them. After the hike I'd had, I wasn't in the mood to make nice.
