Mikayla snapped out of her trance and blinked a few times. "Huh? Wa? Oh yeah, I'm alive," she said assuringly. That's what happens when she is so cooped up in music. Mikayla smiled at Bistrol, smiling. "I'm okay. And that was really good, Bistrol."

"Thanks," I said. I suprised her by taking the ball from her, and dribbling at lightning speed towards the net. I was trying to do a move I've been practicing. I ran, and slam dunked it. But now was the hard part. I dunked it, and curled into a ball, and summersaulted through the net. The ball landed on the ground, and I landed perfectly on my feet. The ball bounced, and I grabbed it. "How was that?" I ask Mikayla.

Mikayla stared at her half-sister in awe for the umpteenth time today. She rubbed her eyes then continued staring at Bistrol. "Freaking Hades that was awesome!" she exclaimed loudly. Mikayla laughed as she walked over to Bistrol and shook her shoulders. "You are a beast!" she said, still shaking her.

I wiped sweat off my forehead. "That one took me so lang to get right," I say, "And thanks." Geez, it seemed like I was the inly athletic person in this whole camp.

"I bet it did!" Mikayla exclaimed loudly. She jogged over to the bench and grabbed a bottle water. She tossed another one to Bistrol. Gulping down a good amount of water, Mikayla remained seated. She looked at the sky to notice it was bright blue with a few clouds. Such a nice day.

I caught the water and drank half the bottle. I got up and asked her, "You wanna' see one more I've been working on?"

"Sure!" Mikayla said. The daughter of Hecate sat down, ready to be impressed by her half sister once again. So far, Bristol has kept Mikayla on her toes for something she'll show her. Staring at Bristol, Mikayla smiled and nodded encouraging Bristol to do what she wanted to show her. "Bristol, so far you've shown me things that kept on being impressive to me. Let's see if you can keep that up," Mikayla told her.

I gave a sly smirk. "If I get this one right, your going to have your mind blown," I say. I take the ball and prepare myself. If an ordinary person tried to do this, they could get seriously hurt. I run towards the net. As I get close enough, I jump as high as I can. As I'm in the air, I throw the ball in the net, and I dive head first through the net. As I'm diving through the net I do two spins, and with split second timing, roll in a ball, and I land on one knee on the ground. Panting, I got up and got the ball. I handed it to Mikayla. "How was that?" I asked, a little breathless.

"Daaaaaaaaang!" was the only response Mikayla had. She jogged over to her half sister and stared at her incredulously. "You are some talented athlete," she said patting her half sister on the back with a smile. Laughing slightly, Mikayla realized she hadn't really expected what Bristol just did. It was fun to be honest, but Mikayla was worried that Bristol could've made a wrong move and gone to the infirmary.

I wiped the sweat off my forehead. "Trust me, that stuff take so much practice. You have NO idea," I say with a breathless laugh. I sigh. I was just glad I didn't get hurt. Gods that move is dangerous.

Mikayla smiled. "Well, a lot of practice does make perfect," she said. "And as far as I noticed, what you did just now was perfect." Mikayla sighed contentedly as she sipped on her bottled water for a little bit. The wind had picked up a little bit and Mikayla enjoyed the afternoon breeze. During days like this, it was hard to believe that somewhere Kronos' army is planning for another attack.

The daughter of Hecate sighed, thinking about the war. If only Kronos hadn't decided to randomly come back from Tartarus. Couldn't he just stay down there? "If only" thoughts started to go into flood into Mikayla's head. The next thing you know, she's in her "la la land" again.

"Yeah," I say, taking a gulp of my water. Then, my eyes went still, and my body froze. Flashback time aparently.

I was sitting in my room, doing flips and such. Then my brother came in as I was doing a handstand, and knocked me over. I had hit my leg... HARD... on my desk. I grabbed my leg in pain. My brother just rolled his eyes and threw something at me. I caught it, only to see it was Dad's car keys. "What the meaning of this?" I asked him. He smiled cruely and left my room. I looked at the keys. The longer I stared, the more I figured out what was happening. I went to my room window, and looked outside.

My Dad's car was demolished.

I heard a yell from downstairs. "Oh no," I whispered. My brother had driven Dads car without permission, and crashed. And he was blaming it on me. I was about to throw the keys out the window, when my dad burst in.

My dad was one of the cruelist people on earth, ever since my mom left. His eyes were wild, and his face was scranched in anger. He walked over to me while I was frozen in fear. I knew what was going to happen next. I remembered it all too well. He snatches the keys from me, and knocks me to the ground. He stands on my chest, and I couldn't breathe. He takes one of my arms, and snaps it. I screamed in pain as be broke my arm, and dislocated my shoulder. I cried, and he got off my chest when he was done. He swore at me and walked out. I saw myself in the flashback, screaming for help, and crying in agony.

I woke up holding my arm and screaming, "NO! NO! MY ARM!"

Mikayla had come back to reality the moment Bistrol froze. She stared at her half-sister momentarily, wondering what was wrong. Mikayla had on a look that evidently showed that she was concerned. The Daughter of Hecate was about to tap Bistrol on the shoulder when she abruptly screamed.

Mikayla jumped up three feet. But soon enough she was shaking Bistrol by the shoulders. "Hey! Nothings wrong with your arm, it's okay," she assured. But Mikayla took a quick glance at her half-sister's arm just to make sure they were fine and intact. Luckily, they were.

I came back cold, but I was sweating. I was shaking so hard, I had to hold onto the bench to steady myself. I was breathing hard, and I replied, "I-I know. It-I-it's just..." I paused. I knew I shouldn't tell her. I probobly wouldn't even have the guts.

Mikayla let her half-sister sit on the bench. What the Hades just happened? Mikayal had no idea, but what she did know was that Bistrol needed to calm down for a bit. Sitting next to her, Mikayla handed Bristol her bottled water. "It's okay, Bistrol," she said, worry apparent in her tone of voice. "You don't have to tell me anything unless you want to, okay? Now drink some water t should help you calm down a little."

Mikayla frowned, looking at Bistrol. To be honest her half-sister looked like she'd seen Hades in a pink dress or something. It was hard for Mikayla to watch her family go through things like this and she couldn't help much, that included her half-siblings.

I took the water and drank a good portion of it. It did help a little. I shook my head. "It's not any of your buisiness," I say softly, "It's just my past."

Mikayla sighed slightly. She really wanted to help Bristol but not push her into doing it. Understanding that her half-siste didn't really want to talk about it, Mikayla said quietly, "Okay, but don't forget that I'm always here if ya need some talkin' to 'kay?" Smiling at Bristol, Mikayla drank the last of her water. But a simple spell refilled it up quickly.

Mikayla looked at the sky. Large, ominous-looking clouds seemed to be making its way over Camp. Shrugging it off, Mikayla remembered it only rained unless a decent amount of the campers wanted it to. As far as she was concerned Mikayla was perfectly fine about it raining.

"Ok," I say, looking at the sky. Good. Let the rain come down. Make the weater like my mood... sad, angry, and misunderstood. I drank all my water and made the bottle disapear. I sighed, knowing that I was going to have another flashback in the next two hours or so.

Mikayla sighed heavily as the first few drops of rainfall fell onto her arm. A small drizzle happened but nothing major. . . Yet. She stood up and looked over at Bristol. As Mikayla stared at her half-sister, she wondered what she could do to get her mind off of those nasty flashbacks. "Hmmm," the daughter of Hecate mused for a moment. "What do you want to do to get your mind off of it other than basketball?"

I get up and stand next to her. "Well, I like to practice storm magic," I say, "Or maybe other sort of stuff. I'm just really good at storm magic." I laughed a little bit. I had tried fire, and I almost singed my eyebrows. Water... meh. I knew Hecate kids can do like almost anything, but I'm just great at storms and lightning n' stuff.

Mikayla simply smirked once Bristol mentioned some magical abilities. She was definitely good at that. She looked at the storm clouds above them. "Hmm. . ." With a simple twirl of her index finger, Mikayla caused the clouds to look like a spiral. Smiling at the funny shape of clouds she caused, Mikayla would wait for Bristol to do something before she could do something that she's been practicing for quite some time now.

I could tell she was waiting for me, so I got out my purple jewel encrusted wand. I looked at the clouds, and thought of a small trick I like to do when I'm bored. I looked at a nice cloud, and made it form into a ventai horse. I made it move and whinny, and even go into the palm of my hand. Then I tried something a little bit harder. I made the horse disapear. I focused a bit harder, and a life size ventai horse jumped out. I jumped on it's back, and rode it in little circles.

Mikayla raised an eyebrow at her half-sister. Shouldn't she have been really tired from doing that? Smirking, Mikayla planned on doing something rather similar. It wasn't all that fancy, but it really was fun to do, through her eyes, at least.

Mikayla took in a deep breath and closed her eyes, concentrating. She closed her hand into a fist before opening it, her palm facing the sky, then closing it again. Suddenly, a life-sized eagle made out of storm clouds was perched on her wrist. The eagle cocked it head to the side, before flying towards the sky. Mikayla focused again the eagle came down and landed on the ground. After a moment, it morphed into a large tiger. It gave a small roar before lying down.

Mikayla was beat, and she was too lazy to do anything else. Instead, she sat down on the ground and used her stormcloud tiger as a backrest. "Aren't ya tired from making that ventai?" Mikayla asked curiously.

I shrugged. "A little. It's like me with those moves. The more you do them, the less they make you tired," I say sitting down next to her. I practiced these things ALOT.
