I walked into the Apollo cabin. "Anyone here?" I called out. "Hello?"

I am looking at my music stand, trying my best to concentrate on the stupid music sheet. I begin playing my violin. "Anyone here? Hello!" I hear a voice coming from the door. I turn around and few a new half blood. I set my violin down.

"Hey. You're new here, huh?" I ask her.

"No. I've been here a few years, actually. Seven. I just kind of blend into the background," I admitted. "I'm not much for showing off."

"Wow, well then I have to keep my eyes open," I said and I smiled, embaressed. "I'm kind of new here myself. I've been here for a month."

"Cool. I'm sgarting to get bored of camp after seven years, but I have nowhere else to go..." I sighed.

"You know, you could always sneak out. My friend Mercy shadow travels out of camp every week, she being the daughter of Nyx," I say to her. It's true, I know lots of children of Hades and Nyx who would shadow travel anywhere. As long as they are powerful enough.

"I know a daughter of Nyx... Her name is Phoenix." I said. I wondered if Phoenix would sneak me out for a while.

"You know... we should all sneak out together one day! We could go into the city or something like that!" I say with a smile. It was an excellent idea! We could just sneak through camp borders, killing monsters that come in our way and we would make it unnoticed!

"Yeah! I know a few girls, and one has a snuck-in laptop that fits her pocket. She has this obsession with a series, and she uses it to get updates. I think I'll tell all my friends about this! There's only three anyway," I said.

I raise an eyebrow. "A laptop that fits in her pocket?" I ask. Out of all the weird and strange things in camp, this had to be number one.

"Yeah. They sell them at electronic stores. I'm planning on getting one too," I admitted. "No harder to use than a remote control."

"I think so too. But internet connection in camp is limited. Good thing that misty's clever," I said.

"The friend with the laptop," I said. "Daughter of Aphrodite."

"Misty. I like that name," I say with a smile. "It's not very common to get a clever daughter of Aphrodite."

"Yeah, but Misty's just a rare person. She's fended for herself a long time. Her dad,s always on business trips, and she sometimes got attacked. She fended the monsters off with random household things," I said. "Not top mention she has two cats, Feather and Storm. The girl is a genius with love and beauty, but for her, it doesn't cut it. She likes to take risks. Not so enthusiastic about keeping herself cooped up in places like camp."

"That sounds like someone I know, she was a daughter of Poseidon. She's gone missing on a quest for a while. She loved taking risks. She was pretty cool and she was a Hunter of Artems," I tellher. But I don't want to get into the details because she's been missing for such a long time.

"Oh. Misty's still here, and not happy about it, either. Kind of like me, Phoenix, and Feather. Feather is the daughter of Hecate, and Phoenix is the daughter of Nyx," I said.

I shrugged. "Well, camp's budget is really low, so we don't go on field trips much. But I know my friend Mercy is planning to sneak out shopping at night today. She's getting ready for it right now," I said, looking at my watch.

"Nice," I said. "She will have a good time, I'm guessing. I am from New York, but I mostly stayed around home."

I laugh. "Eveyone's from the northeast section of the US. I grew up in Minnesota, but then my parents moved to Arizona when I was 13," I say to her.

"That's just sad. I've been at camp seven years. My mom didn't really care about me. It was just her and her work that mattered - she was high-rannked in a big company. I left when i was six," I sighed.

"Easy. She was at work, I left. I grabbed my favorite things that I'd stuffed in a suitcase and I set out for the safest place I could find. Then eventually I got to camp," I sighed.
