"Thank you,"I said.We got to the car and I opened her door for her and got in.

Ahh! In my neighborhood last night, someone broke into cars and robbed stuff in em, and my neighbors car was stolen! -_-
I jumped into the passenger seat again. "So, the beach you said, right?"

Oh, and I just made a topic in the battle field where Holly's going to be fighting, possibly injured. You can join with Dylan if you want to.

"Yep,"I said with a smile."Why,do you want to go somewhere else?"

"No, just making sure I heard you right."

"Ok,let's go,"I said.I started up the car and started driving back to camp.

"Okay," I say. I looked out the front windshield, observing trees, houses, lakes, and everything else I missed since I got to Camp Half Blood.

"Hey,you ok,you look upset,"I said.I grabbed her hand and intertwined my fingers with hers.

"What was you life like before camp half-blood?"

I loved my life. I had great friends," I said, staring out the frot window still. "Then when I was little, my younger brother died, in a fresh water lake." I could feel the tears burning behind my eyes, threatening to pour out. "If my dads the god of fresh water, why couldn't he protect him? Why'd he let Nick die? How could he? I'm even starting to think what that guy at the mall said is true. That the gods don't care about us," I said.

Once I saw her crying,I pulled over.I pulled her in for a hug."It's ok.It's my fault for asking,I didn't know you would cry."I felt terrible for making her cry.

"It's not your fault," I sniffed. "Sometimes..I just wish I was a normal demigod. An Athena kid, Dionysus, even an Ares kid would be better than Hydros. I hate my father."

"Gods can't always help us.They can't directly interfere with their kids lives,"I said.

"Okay," I said. Knowing that made me feel alot better. I thought my dad either watched my brother die and could care less, or killed him. Now I was sure that neither of those were true.

'Are you OK now,"I asked.I kissed the top of her head and said,"The gods do love us."

"Yeah, I'm good," I say.

"K."I got back on the road,but still kept her hand in mine.

This time, I was thinking happy thoughts. Like how lucky I was that my dad was a god. Because if I wasn't a Demigod, I wouldn't have got to Camp Half Blood. And that would mean I would never have met Dylan. That would suck.

I looked at Holly and she looked really happy."How can you go from that sad to that happy,"I said with a confused smile.

"Because you make me happy," I grinned.

"Why do I make you happy,"I said with a confused look on my face.

"Because!" I laughed. "You don't know why yet?"

"Not a clue,"I said confused.

"Because! Your amazing, as I've said before."

"Thanks,but your way better,'I said with a smile.I leaned over and gave her a quick kiss.
