I watched as Mercer got stabbed by the guy he ran after. I let out a quick gasp. I couldn't just sit there. I never could in these types of situations. I grabbed Kie-Kie's arm and pulled her up with me so I wouldn't go alone. I had my hand by my wirst just in case I needed to attack. I didn't know Mercer, but Mr. D or Chiron wasn't around, and there was no way I was going to let this go off the hook.

"This personality was never partial to you Alice. I've always liked Meg better," My other personality said. Well... I did love meg, and I've shared things that I would not have shared with anyone else. My other personality flicked out his knife and stabbed it into Alice. I finally gained control of myself and my eyes widened. Oh my god. I ran away, that wasn't me.

I closed my eyes.

Meg fell to the ground as something hit her from behind. That girl spoke to her, but Meg ignored her. "Get off me!" she said as she struggled. After a while, the girl was gone, and Meg looked up. Jake was smoking beside the body of a demigod. "Gods, no," she whispered as she got up and ran to Jake. He had just stabbed the other girl. "Jake, you've got to come with me," she said, grabbing his hand. "Jake, please!"

"Where to go? Huh? I just murdered a person right there. MURDERED! I gotta... I gotta go," I said before taking out my keys. I had to get far away from here. Please. Please let the gods have mercy and for me to to die tonight.

I felt the pain in my stomach. I fell down to the ground and hit my head. I couldn't breath right. I didn't have enough power to heal myself. "Jake," I moaned. "Why would you do that?" I closed my eyes and grabbed my stomach.

Markus looked up as some commotion came from his left. "What's going on?" he asked Thomas. "Let's check it out." He got up and walked over, seeing the violent seen when he got there. "What's going on here?" he asked as he approached the scene. He was older than everyone and felt responsible.

Thomas followed Markus, just letting his friend take the lead. They came upon the two bodies on the floor, one a male the other female. The guy didn't look too good, while the girl was still breathing. "Anyone here a child of Apollo?" I yelled out to the crowd of demigods. "Anyone?"

Meg took a hold of Jake. "LOOK AT ME!" she said to him. "I am one person you didn't kill. Calm down." She took his keys from him. "I'll drive. We'll keep driving until we stop. It's gonna be okay." She seriously hoped so.

I gulped. "Okay," I said and lead her to the car where I opened the door for her. I got into the car myself, sports car, my dad was very rich.

"GODDAMMIT SOMEBODY STOP THEM!" I yelled and pointed to the car.

I ran over to the boy. I pulled out a bit of ambrosia and fed it to him. That would raise his pulse up. I looked at the girl. I healed her, using most of my power. I started to breath heavily.

I got up as soon as she healed me. My wound was fixed. I got up and ran to that car. I punched Meg in the face and stared at Jake. "So much for love," I said. I walked around the car. I pulled out my dagger. I put it to his neck and said, "If I ever see you again, I will kill you brutally."

I sat back watching everyone. It was hard not to be mad. "I want to kill that guy so much right now," I muttered nder my breath. Probably not as much as a bunch of other people, but I still did.

Meg got into the car and put the keys into the ignition. Her heart was beating really fast and she had adrenaline pumping through her system. Before she could turn the car on, she felt something hit her face. It must have been that other girl. Dumb witch. She had a knife to Jake's throat. Meg reached into her purse and pulled out her whip. She flicked her whip at the knife, sending it flying. "You'll have to get through me, witch," Meg said icily

I couldn't take it anymore. They were dumb and stupid and they'd end up dead together. I didn't care. I threw the knife at Jake and ran. I just ran. I kept running. I didn't know where I was by the time I'd stopped. I'd ended up somewhere in the forest. I found shelter under a tree and collapsed. I didn't sleep. I collapsed and couldn't get up.

Meg turned on the car and floored the petal. They had to get out of there. That one chick was a total psycho. "Where to?" she asked Jake as they drove.

Someone yelled for help stopping the guy who did all of this. "On it," Thomas yelled as he ran after the couple who was fleeing the scene. He wasn't going to make it in time, and the car was speeding away. Thomas concentrated, willing vines to grow around the car and keep it in place, but the car was snapping out of the holds before he could get enough on it to slow it down. "Can't keep this up for long," he grunted. "Help please!"

Faye sprung up after Alex gave her a look. "What are we supposed to do?!" she asked. It wasn't everyday you witness a murder! So like everyone else Faye was scared.

Markus watched as Thomas ran off to stop the car. There was nothing the son of Hephaestus could do, so he just watched. Thomas tried, but he couldn't stop the car. "Dude, you're gonna kill yourself if you work yourself too hard!" Markus yelled at his friend. "We'll get them another time."

Thomas heard Markus yell at him and knew he was right. Still, he wanted justice to be served for these two. One was already fine, but the other would never live again. He willed the car to stop, but his will wasn't enough. It drove on, leaving his vines in the dust. Thomas slumped where he stood, finally feeling the exhaustion that came from using his powers too much.

Faye stood there, speechless. Like everyone else she was wondering Who are they? Why did they do this? Faye looked back up at the sky, the fireworks still in the sky, as if nothing happened.

Alissa walked down to the beach spotting several people with shocked experessions on thier faces. She spotted Faye and Alex and walked to them, Jake behind her. "Hey Guys!" Alissa said with a smile.

Addison laughed lightly to herself. "Most people do Kat." she commented. The people got away, left a mess behind them. Wonderful...

I decided to let it go. Everyone was healed. And they were gone. It's all good now. "Hey sis," I waved slightly. I gave her a hug, then noticed something. Hm. Must have been me seeing things. As I was going to turn to Faye I saw it again. Hm... I told the girls to wait one second as I followed the shadow into the forest.

Faye smiled at Alissa. She heard Alex telling them to wait. Wait? Heck no! she thought. Faye had almost lost Alex to many times, she was going with him! "Uh, one second Alissa..." she said following Alex.

I looked around. Apperently Alissa had a lot of friends. I found an open spot and sat down. The fireworks were beutiful. I didn't feel like being rude and interupting Alissa, so I savec her a seat for when she was done talking.

Alissa walked over and sat next to Jake. "You didn't want to say hi?" she asked him. Alissa knew Jake wasn't a people person, but they were her friends. They don't usually bite, hard.

"Yea, there really nice..." I slipped my hand into Alissa's. Thankfully, it wasn't sweaty for a change. Sitting here with Alissa and watching fireworks seemed almost...normal.

Alissa felt the warmth of Jake's hand come into her's. It was a good feeling, almost... perfect. She (for once in her life) wasn't stressing about anything. Alissa was, how do you say this? Relaxed.
