Bored. As usual.

Maddison stared at the ceilling. She was so bored. Maddison had read so much that her head ached. Where was Faye? she thought. She scanned the cabin again but her best friend still wasn't in site.

I came in from the arena, I grabbed the water bottle from my bed and gulped down the water, even though it wasn't cold, it still felt refreshing. "Oh, hey" I said to a girl on a nearby bunk. She appeard to be looking for someone. I wound't be much help, I didn't know much of anyone. "Something I could help you with?" I continued, wiping sweat off of my forhead.

Maddison turned to see one of her siblings speaking to her. "No thanks. Not unless you know where Faye is. She's our sister. I'm just so bored. All of my friends seem to be busy."

I thought for a moment"Faye...Faye...I don't think I know a Faye. But, let me take a shower and then we could head down to the library." I said, smiling. The library was one of my favorite parts of camp half blood. Besides, I needed a new book to read. "Theres something I gotta get there, and if your bored...welll, you could come along." I was a little nervouse, it wasn't like me to talk to other people voluntarily.

"Great!" I said, before drinking the last gulp of water. "Oh, by the way," I put my hand out. "I'm Brooke, Brooke Wagner." I said, smiling.

"Maddison, Maddison Benson. Good to meet you!" Maddison smiled. A new friend. She climed back up on her bunk and waited for Brooke. Her cell phone started to vibrate. I thought I had that off!!! she thought. Maddison picked it up, "Hello?" "Hi sweetie. How is camp?" It was her dad. "Oh. It's great. Dad, you do remember only to call me when I have free time outside of the cabin!" "Sorry. Forgot. So are you going to come to visit for Christmas?" "Yes, of course Dad. Why?" "I've moved again. to Long Island." "That's great Dad! But I have to go. Bye!" Maddison hung up because it had sounded like Brooke was out of the shower.

I got dressed in my usual orange CHB t-shirt and jeans. I brushed by hair and then put it up in a ponytail, and then left the bathroom. "Ready?" I asked, lacing up my sneaker's.

Maddsion jumped of her bunk, "Yeah let's go." She began to walk to the door, "Wait! I almost forgot! I have a book on French that's due back." Maddison grabbed the book and continued.

I smiled, grabbing my own book that was due. "A book on french huh? That's cool but I'm more into book's about the moon." I said, opening the door and walking outside.
