"Oh, dude, we got this under control!" I said. I lied. As I said that, a Telkhine slashed my sword arm. "Ouch," I mumbled. I yelled as loud as I could, "ACE!" In about three minutes, my Polar Bear was helping us. "How's that for help?" I asked.

I laughed."A polar bear.Impresionante."I said,while cutting down afew more.I soon got bored of killing them in that fasion so I took out my Dessert eagle and let loose.I shot most of them through the head but others I just weakened so Calyx could finish em off.

AN EAGLE?! How does one get and eagle? I'm not sure. But since most of em' were dust, I finished them off. I was about to turn around, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a HUGE Telkhine. "Oh great," I mumbled.

(BTW a dessert eagles a gun..not an animal..^^')

I laughed seeing the big telkhine.Finally smething worth my time."We'll charge it on three."I said.I backed up and put my gun away.Once I was standing next to him I unsheathed my sword and started counting."One...Two..THREE!"

"Oh gosh!" I said as I charged. Wait since when were there spots on trees? Aw man. I was losing too much blood from the wound on my arm. "Uh, I got a problem," I said as I changed my sword to the other hand. NOT NATURAL! I try to fight, but my left arm won't cooaperate. "Yeah, definatly a problem!"

I tackled Calyx out of the way when the Telkhine tried to scratch him."Stay put.And If my eyes dont turn green again when Im done fighting I suggest you run."I told him.I stood up and charged the monster,my eyes changing to red.I sliced open its stomach in six seconds flat and sliced of its head in the next.It burst into dust and an evil grin formed on my face.Kill was the only thing going through my head.I sighed and sank to my knees holding my left arm.It hurt like a mother and my curse mark had expanded far enough that it reached my wrist.Dammit."I stood up and walked over to Calyx."You ok?"I asked him.

"I'm fine," I said, "But can you explain the red eyes thing?" Well, actually, in retrospect, I wasn't ok, but I wanted to know about the red eyes.

I rubbed the back of my neck."Ill explain in time."I said,frowning slightly.I pulled out a small vile of nectar from my pocket and handed it to him."Drink up.Youve lost a lot of blood."I said,smiling slightly.

"Ok, thanks," I said. As I drank the nectar, I knew that I had mentioned a touchy suject. "Hey, sorry I asked about that. I can tell you don't like to talk about it."

I chuckled darkly."Its not that I dont like to its just..It comes from a bad place."I said,looking away.It wasnt really a touchy subject though.I just got screwed over by a son of Hecate is all.Gods how I wish that was true.

"Oh, ok," I said. 'A bad place'. Hmm... Underworld? Maybe. That's really the only bad place I knew of. "Ok, let's get on the pegasai, and start riding back," I say.

I nodded."Yeah."I said,walking towards the pegasus.When I aproached mine it backed away looking afraid.I sighed and raised my hands to show I wasnt trying to harm it.It went forward hesitantly.I mounted it and mentally facepalmed.

I walked over, a little shakey, and mounted Snowflake. We started riding back in silence. I was really hoping the silence would break. But not with another monster attack. I'm in no shape for that.

"So..how long have you known you were a Demi-god?"I asked him,trying to breack the silence.I didnt like silence.Id lived through enough to last me a lifetime.

"Oh, about, six months I guess. Maybe a little longer," I said. Yeah, quite a story behind that. Frankly, I think the story is hilarious. But for those who love penguins, not so much.

"Ive known for..bout five years now."I said,my tone of voice dark.Id found out prior but the school I went to didnt allow assosiation with me anymore."How long you been at camp?"I asked him,my voice returning to normal.

I could tell something was bothering her, but I brushed it off. "Bout' a week," I say, "It's been pretty amazing. It's been alot fun almost getting killed on a daily basis," I say, lughing to myself a little.

I chuckled."I geuss so."I said,smiling slightly.My pegasus slowed down a little and ruffled its wings.I smiled slightly.I loved animals but they sure as hell didnt like me back.

Snowflake whinnied. "What's wrong girl?" I ask. I look in her right eye. It was glowing red. I look at the other one. The left one is too. "Not again!" I say. I remember Ace acting like this, trying to tear people apart. Snowflake started trying to buck me off. Even though this would drain me, I had to do it. I got off the pegasus and froze her solid. I fell to my knees. "Ugh."

I jumped off my own pegasus and kneeled next to Calyx."So...anything you wanna tell me?"I asked him handing him yet another vial of nectar.

I took the nectar, and drank some. "Yeah. Bout' two days ago my Polar Bear, Ace, did that same thing. He got all violent, and his eyes turned red. So I froze him. I don't know what's wrong, but it's only to animals that I'm close to." I say. Feeling much better I stand up. "So, any ideas on how I'm gonna' get back to camp?"

I chuckled."You kow theres this radical invention that been around for centurys thats gotten people from point A to point B.Do you know what it is?"I asked him,smirking.

"Oh man," I whine, "I really don't want to walk."

I rolled my eyes."I was gonna say running but walkings fine."I said,chuckling.Kids these days.Its like they expected to be carried every where.I looked towards the direction we had come."You wanna start now or rest?"I asked him.

"Start now," I said, "The sooner we get to camp, the better." And I started walking. Just to keep me cool, I made a little blizzard over me. "Ah, much better," I said.
