Training... all to easy {OPEN}

ALISSA~MARIE~FOLEY
Alissa gripped her two swords in each hand. Her face had a thin layer of sweat on it. She stood face to face with a large dummy, twice her size. Alissa sliced and sliced with perfection. In seconds the dummy was destroyed. All to easy... she thought. After growing up here at camp, never seeing the outside world training was natural. Too natural. Alissa sat down next to the other dummies . She leaned forward and splashed water on her face. Too easy, everything was to easy. Alissa needed a challenge.

I walked into the arena to practice my sword fighting ninja skills. Most of the timee I fight with a bow but I do fight with a long dagger. I saw this girl splash water on her face. "Hey," I called out to her.

Alissa looked up from her spot on the ground. She smiled warmly at the boy who stood a few yards away. "Hi! I'm Alissa daughter of Pontos. Who are you?" she asked standing up. Alissa studied the boy fro a moment, child of... Apollo? Maybe. After being at camp for so long she could guess godly parent's well.

I waved at the girl. "I'm Seth, son of Apollo. What are you doing here?" I asked. Stupid question. Why would anybody be here at the arena. To practice.

Alissa smiled, she was right. In all truth Alissa had nothing against Apollo's children. They were fun and happier than most. "Not training." she replied. Alissa began walking over to Seth. "You? Let me guess not training?" she said.

I smiled. "You guessed right. But in a few seconds, I'll be training with my dagger. Care to join?" I asked her, a goofy smile playing on my lips.

Alissa smiled back, just to keep the mood going. "Sure, I've trained forever another day won't hurt." she said. Alissa drew her twin swords and twirled them in her fingertips. "Dagger huh? Don't Apollo kids shoot bows?" she asked teasing Seth.

"Why yes," I told her. "I have it as a backup. If I didn't, you wouldn't be able to meet the funniest kid, now would you?" I teased.

Alissa smiled brightly. "Yes lucky me." she said with another smile. Alissa twirled her swords between her fingers. "How long have you been at camp?" she asked glancing at Seth.

"First year," I told her. I started to play with my dagger. "Do you want to battle?" I asked her smiling.

Alissa smiled and nodded. "Sure, sounds great." she said. Alissa spun her sword up a foot in the air and caught it on the handle. "Okay then/" she said. Alissa walked off a few feet and got into position.

I watched as she threw her sword in the air and caught it. I smirked. Someone likes to show off. I gripped my dagger tightly. I lunged and tried to get in her gaurd.

Alissa smiled at the challenge. She loved training against other demigods, it was entertaining. Alissa slashed aside Seth's dagger and sprayed water at his face. Then she flipped to the other side of the arena.

I gasped as water splashed in my face. "Hey!" I yelled. I saw that she had flipped to the other side of the arena. "I don't have any awesome powers!" I yelled as I went after her.

Alissa laughed and spun herself up on water. Making a barrier around her. She laughed again, this was too much fun. Alissa slashed at Seth's shoulder and went back on ground. She ran in the other direction.

I stumbled backwards as she slashed my shoulder, making a cut. I grumbled under my breath. What could I do? Oh yeah, heal. "DON'T MAKE ME HEAL YOU!" I shouted as I chased after her.

Alissa smiled and ran backwards. "You won't need to." she said with a smirk. After 10 years of training you would think Alissa knew her way around every opponent. She charged at Seth and threw a small knife at his leg then sprayed his face with water. After that Alissa cut across Seth's chest.

I dodged all of her slashes. Except the one where she cut right through my shirt and into my ches. Dang, she's been here a long time. She'll just use me as a chew toy for her training. Think Seth, think, I thought. I fell to the ground pretending I was badly hurt. I hope she buys it.

ALISSA~MARIE~FOLEY
Alissa rushed over to Seth, seeing him down on the ground. "I didn't beat you that bad did I?" she asked wiping some blood off Seth's shirt. "I didn't think I even hit you that hard..." Alissa said looking away. Seeing Seth wasn't responding she began to worry. "Seth?" she asked poking his side.

I jumped up and talcked her to the ground. I put my dagger to her throat. I smiled. "Surrender Water Girl," I told her.

Alissa smiled. "Yeah... about that... NO WAY!" she said moving his dagger from her throat with her swords. Alissa created another water tornado and jumped on top of it. "I'm not good at surrendering. Sorry!" she said smiling.

I crused under my breath. "That's not fair!" I yell at her. I need to distract her. How? I wipe the blood off my shirt with my hand. Without thinking I take off my shirt. I try to climb up her water tornado.

Alissa watched in confusion as Seth took off his shirt and began to climb the water wall. "I don't see why you're wasting your time climbing this. It's like impossible to non-water children." she said shrugging.

I was still climbing. I finally made it to the top. "HA!" I exclaimed. I lunged at her and tried to disharm her.

Alissa sighed and cut off the water tornado. She sidestepped and slashed at Seth side. Alissa then created a waterball and threw it at him. She was surprised that he was able to climb her water tornado. That was impressive, but she didn't say it.
