The Quest to New York {private}

"You're the doctor here," I said. "I don't kbowbwhat to do here. Do your son of Apollo thing. Heal, do something." I sounded desperate, but I didnt care. Im pretty sure Seth was feeling the same way anyway.

I shook my head. "I can't. Not in this state," I said guestering to my wound. I ran a hand through my blond hair. I checked her pule. Yeah, she was breathing. I let out a big breath I didn't know I was holding.

I sighed softly and sat back and listened. It was so silent. I couldn't tell why. There had to be something going on now. I looked to the girl and almost started crying. She wasn't breathing. "Oh, my gpds, I killed her!" I cried aloud and buried my head into my knees.

I looked at Bella confussed. She pointed to another girl. I knelt next to her. I checked her pulse; she wasn't breathing. "Someone hand me the nectar."

I tossed Seth some Nectar against my better judge ment. She'll just wake up and try to kill us again. I saw how upset Bella was though, and didn't protest. I've never killed a person, abd I really don't plan to. I'm sure that's how Bella felt.

I grabbed the nectar from Kat. I opened up the girl's mouth and poured some in. She closed her mouth and swallowed. Yup, nectar is a life saver. She started to breath again. Her eyes shot open. I raised an eyebrow. "Hi." She pushed me to the ground and was on top of me. "Jeez, clam down," I managed to say.

I lowered my sword so it was touching the back of the girl's neck. "Get off of him," I said through gritted teeth. She slowly turned her head to me, her eyes narrowed. She didn't get off of Seth but she didn't do anything to him either. She just stared at me.

I gasped. "You know, it would be nice if you didn't have your knee in my wound," I said. I tried to push her off but failed. I just laid back and waited. "Get off!" I yelled.

"He just saved your life," I said. "Get off, or I'll swing." I waited and raised my sword slightly. She still stared at me. It bothered me almost. I was ready to strike though, when she jumped on my knocking me to the ground. I gasped as my entire body exploded with pain. She stood up and ran off leaving me crumpled on the ground gasping and trying not to let the teard come.

I rushed to Kat's side. She gasped. Yeah, that must hurt. "You okay?" I asked her. I looked up and saw the girl run away. I loaded an arrow and fired it. It landed near her and exploded in a cloud of dust. I grinned, fart arrow. She bent over and gagged.

I cursed and tried to sit up but winced. I let out a gasp. She rebroke whatever had been growing back. A brutal smell filled the air but I expected it was worse by the girl. I had my eyes squeezed shut holding back a scream. Bella was by me, I could hear her talking slow encouragements.

I looked at Kat worried. "Just relax and breath. Bella stay right here," I said as I got up. I walked over to the gagging girl. I dragged her by her hair. I pushed her to the floor and held my dagger to her throat. "Who are you?"

I knelt down with Kat tayed with her. She was breathing hard and wincing in pain. I listened to Seth and the girl.
"You're here for a reason aren't you," The girl struggled out. "I'm here too for a reason too. The fall of Olympus can come, and will. I suggest youbleave while you can, an die another day."

I huffed. "Already did that," I muttered. I dug my dagger a little deeper. "The gods ain't gonna fall. We're here to stop that." Isabella stirred. I grin. "I suggest you give us some answers 'cuz our leader ain't gonna be happy when she wakes up."

Oh my ... I really am hating my iPod right now. I missed like 5 pages!!:0 I need to get the notifications fixed. I never got any!:0000000
Crap, I thought. Before, I wished that all this was coincidental. Maybe a coven of monsters moved in? But now my fears were confirmed when the girl said that. I felt like kicking her. Why couldn't we have let her die!? I mean, I'm not the violent type and all but...
I stood next to Kat, with my eyes full of concern. I didn't dare say anything. What if I sounded stupid? They probably didn't want me on this quest anyway. Alot of them were hurt, een as a daughter of Apollo, I couldn't do anything! I should just die now and save 'em the trouble.

Panic attack much?xD

The girl just shook her head and I prayed Seth wouldn't kill her. I couldnt stand that no matter who she was. Killing monsters is one thing. Killing people is another. Kat was clutching her sides fiercly. "Can we hurry this up?" she hissed.

I knocked her out with the hilt of my dagger. I pushed her away. I ruashed to Kat's side. I pressed on her ribs and she gasp. I looked at her. "I need to reset them again. This time, please don't punch me," I told her. I looked over at Isabella and saw that she was waking up.

I opened my eyes. My head pounded. I sat up and rubbed my temples. "Ow." I looked and saw Kat on the ground. I rusjed over, falling once or twice. "What happened?"

I groaned. "I'll punch you if I-" Bella squeazed my hand and I stopped. "I swear to the gods, if I die because a freaking girl jumped on me, I'm goin to march right up to the fates and slap them." That earned a few smiles but I kept my eyes shut.

I sighed at Kat. Her entire top half look deformed like an accprdian. Her left arm was still limp a bit from it's break before, but her mos tof her ribs were still broken. Why did she have to go throught that door alone in the first place?

I snorted. "You won't die. Now hold still," I told Kat. Isabella was sitting by Kat's head, trying to sooth her. I put pressure on the ribs, trying to reset them again. Yeah, she punched me a few times, which hurt!

I looked at Ally's sad expression and reached for her hand and gave it a squeeze. I smiled the my thoughts wandered back to Kat stopping the blood flow in my arm. With her other arn she either grabbed at the ground or occasionally hit Seth but I watched as she was careful not to hurt him too muh or hit him by his wound.

I stood quietly leaning against the wall, watching. "Is she gonna be okay?" I half whispered. I felt I should say something, een if I didn't want to.

I nodded and finished wrapping up Kat's chest. "You could had done that without the punching," I gasped. I rubbed my arm. She punches hard. I opened the canteen of nectar and poured some down her throat. I looked up at Ally. She seemed to be having a mini freakout in her mind. I smiled softly at her.

I had stopped caring that my shirt had almost been taken off all the way the first tine Seth helped out. If you were someone else you would probably be blushing right now like crazy trying not to look anyone in the eye. Not me though. Gods, I felt like crap.

Kat sat up shakily sitting up straight with a tense back. She still didn't open her eyes yet, and she was still wincing.

I looked through my bag. Bingo. I tossed Kat the bottle of Advile. "Take some. Helps with the pain," I told her. I also took out some amborisa. "Eat this too."

"This looks very familiar," I muttered and popped and advil and the ambrosia down my throat. "Should I throw the cantein at your head again Seth?" I asked holding up the advil box.

She'll be okay. I thought. My vision began to blur and my head blazed with pain. I closed my eyes and sat back laying on the ground with a sigh.
