The Quest to New York {private}

I looked at Izzy. She shouldnt do that. Don't antaginize them. But I understpod fully. Her dream must had been something with Seth. I ran to Izzy who was still yelling. "Izzy," I said to her softly. "Seth."

I froze when Bella said Seth's name. Two of our friends were hurt. Adonis and Seth. Kat was hurt too before. Three out of seven people hurt. A tear fell down my face.

I pulled Izzy close for a second then pulled her to where Seth lay. Kat was already by his side putting little preaasure on his wound to keep it from bleeding to much while one of the others tried to get the bag off of hia back where the supplies were.

I watched as Bella and Izzy walke over to us carefully. I barely payed any attention. I asked Izzy to take over my position. I couldnt stand the sight of blood for too long, let alone it covering my hands.

I took Kat's position instead. I put pressure on his wound. Tears fell down my face. I was not going to loose another person who was close to me. "Seth, tell me what to do," I cried.

I felt Izzy put pressure on my wound. "Put nectar on it and try to wrap it tightly so it doesn't bled," I said weakly. Well, this sucked.

I sat by Seth's head. I bundled a bunch of blankets togeter and made a pillow for him. Tears threatened to pour out of my eyes. I hled them back though and listened to his instructions as Ally helped too. I had almost forgotten she was a daughter of Apollo.

I whiped Seth's blood on my jeans, but it didn't really help. I gave up on trying anything and just watched. I was no help any way.

I grabbed the canteen of the godly drink and poured it on the wound. Please don't die, please don't die, I repeated over and over in my head. Tears were pouring down my face. The nectar seemed to help. It made the bleeding stop at least. "Hand me the bandage." I said in a whisper. Please live.

I found myself useful and tossed Izzy the bandages. I gave everyonee a cube of ambrosia. I tried to talk Bella into taking more or resting because there was a welt on her head but she refused and continued to help Izzy wirh Seth.

I grabbed the bandage. I took off Seth's shirt. I wiped away the blood and started to wrapp his wound. Seth looked like he was going to pass out. I smacked his arm and his eye opened but closed, "No,no! You can't die now! You are like my brother! I can't loose you. Seth please!" I cried out.

I put my hand over where his heart should be. It was beating slowly. Tears fell down my face now. I could think of nothing else to do. I still poured nectar down his throat and he still swallowed it, partially.

I let tears fill my eyes. I hugged my knees close and listenes sadly to Izzy cry.

I gripped Seth's arm. "Please, you can't die! You are like a brother to me! Please!" I cried out. Seth didn't make the slightest respond. I buried my head in chest and sobbed. Please. Suddenly, Seth gasped.

Seth gasped aloud which almost made me jump a couple of feet. I sat back on my knees with my hand over my mouth. My heart was beating ten time faster now. Was he okay?

I looked up and saw that Seth had his eyes wide open. He looked around. I hugged him. He shifted his weight under me. "Uh, curshing me." Seth said. I pulled away and laughed. "Sorry"

~lol, sure you did.

"Seth!" I exclaimed and hugged him partially trying not to hurt him.

"You must be in heaven Seth," I said. "All these girls caring for you. Your shirt off. Must be fabulous." I raised my eyebrows.

I looked at Kat confused. My shirt off. I looked down and yelped. I must had not felt them take off my shirt. Then I smirked. "Like the view then?" I asked in a whisper. I was still weak. Now me and Kat couldn't fight. Yay, now I can annoy her more.

~I swear if he had said that outloud...im still laughing. Kat's response would have been lile Oh, Joy. xD

"I love it Seth," I saud with a sarcastic sigh. I rolled my eyes and looke at my blood stained hands. "Look what you did to me."

"Stop bothering him, Kat," I snapped. "He's probably in a lot of pain."

I winked at Kat. Isabella smacked my arm. "I just wonder what goes in your mind," Izzy grumbled. I smiled. Yup, she was the sister I always wanted. I looked at Bella. "I'm not in a lot of pain," I said. I tired to sit up but winced. I laid back down. "Okay, maybe I am."

"Yay," I said sarcastucally. "Now were are wounded buddies!" I stood up. "I'm taking a walk."

"Oh, no you're not," I told her and grabbed her arm. She pulles it away. "I won't go far," she assured me. She grumbled and started off again slowly. Her ribs were obviously still bothering her. Thay bothered me a lot, but tjere was no stopping her.

I watched as Kat walked away. "Kat come back! I need to annoy you!" I shouted after her. Isabella rolled her eyes and went after her.

I caught up with Kat. "We can't split up. Remember what happened last time when you went through the door?"

I stopped when Izzy came up to me. "I really, really, just want to be alone right now." I told her. "I swear I won't go far. I remember what happened last time, it's the reason I should be in a body cast. That's not really a reason I would forget. Can I please walk for a while, alone?" I asked harshly. "Captain?" I added.

I narrowed my eyes at her. "Fine," I told her. I watched as she walked away. I went over to where my friends were. I opened my bag and took out some ambrosia. I handed it to Seth. He took it and slowly chewed it. I gave it to Bella who had a bump on her head. I let out a breath and winced. I had bruised my chest. I ate a square of ambrosia. "Everyone else okay?" I asked.

"More or less," I said chewing the cube of ambrosia. It tasted like burnt cookies. Like the ones I used to make with my sister. Yum. I smiled at the memory.

I threw Seth's his shirt. "Please put it back on Romeo," I told him.

I gave her a grin. "Yes Ma'am." She rolled her eyes. I slipped my shirt back on. I winced as I sat up.

I walked down a few halls memorizing each one I took. When I was about to turn back after four turns I heard a light hissing sound and then a girl's voice. "They're here idiot!" It hissed. "You must have heard what happened to floor one and two."

"Yes, but is floor 66 still secure?" Another voice asked. I didnt turn the next corner. Instead i back up slowly and made my way back to the others tripping over janitor supplies. Well damn. Im pretty sure the two voices heard me, but I ignored them if they were even following.

We sat there waiting for Kat. I tapped my foot impatiently. My ADHD was acting up. I was getting bored fast. Seth was fast alseep, taking a nap. "Where is Kat?" I muttered.

I came running around the corner hissing, "Gotta go, we gotta go." I grabbed my bag lifted it over my shoulder wincing in pain and tossing Bella her bag. I kicked Seth's leg lightly. "Get up Sunshine." I hissed. "Let's go."
